Wow… I was just at your resteraunt, what a dissapointment. To say I was dissatisfied is an understatment. Your hostess Jennifer, «long black hair» could really use a crash course on customer service! I called and asked about a wait time and was told by Jennifer that we would be placed on a «call ahead list» and it would be about 15 min wait. Once we arrived we waited for 30 minutes before being seated. As Jennifer walked us to our table we passed an empty booth. I also noticed a second empty booth in the section left of us. As she came to a stop at a table I said Im sorry but coulld we please sit at a booth? She the told my husband and I that if we wanted a booth we could go back to the waiting area and wait for an open booth!!! Are you freaking kidding me? I understand sections and trying to do things functionally but wow. Why couldnt she have said something like well I can set you in one of the booths but it might take a bit longer for the server to get to you? Instead after waiting 30 minutes im told I can go back to the waiting area and wait for an open booth when their were two? Is this what you train your employees to say? What a JOKE I have never felt so unwelcome in a resteraunt. It ruined my entire experience. I was at the tacoma red lobster last week there food quality and customer service far surpases this resteraunt. I will drive out of my way to go there everytime now. I will probably not ever be coming back.

Well worth the 45mins wait. Server was super nice n sweet. Only thing didn’t like was when u order the appetizer u would think they give u 2 tiny fork n two wipes for ur hand when there was 2 of us. Instead u get one. Guess someone have to use their hand.

I am mostly disappointed in things that all red lobsters have in common, not just this one. Last time I came here, I got asked them to do something for my sisters birthday. They came out and sang«happy birthday» and had a little condiment cup with whip crème and a candle in it. What?! Who does that? Then another time I wanted some sort of pasta. For an American style resuturant, they are lacking in pasta choices. I usually would go for the shrimp alfredo, but every time I get it, it’s waaaayyy too oily and greasy. It makes my somache upset. So I saw the lobster scampi with a picture of a noodle dish. I wanted shrimp so I just ordered a shrimp scampi thinking it would be the same right??? WRONG! It was 5 pieces of shrimp with some mashed potato! What!!! I felt so jiped. They didn’t even have mac n cheese on the menu! So Im really disappointed in red lobster. I’d rather drive down to Seattles fish places than eat at this joke of a restaurant. Get your act together red lobster!!!

Excellent food and service. Sat in the bar, bartender was on point. Bathroom was clean and smelled great, but the paper towels are super cheap and the handsoap dried out my hands really bad.

Best red lobster I’ve ever been to. Our waitress was Laurie, I have never had better service in my life. Nothing to complain about whatsoever ever. AMAZING. ASKFOR Laurie.

HORRIBLE, HORRIBLESERVICE. I will never return here after the experience I had this past Sunday night. The food took over an hour to come out and the appetizers were cold upon arrival. Our server was also inattentive and seemed overworked. The manager waived the charge on our appetizer, but I had lost my appetite by the time the food was out, so she did try her best to be accommodating. Sorry to say I won’t be returning though. :(

My friend took me here for my birthday in December. I’m finally catching up on all of my reviews. The food was 3.5 stars and the service was 2.5 stars. I would come back and try it again because our waitress was really trying but overwhelmed. We were there on a Friday night, and the lobby was overflowing with people waiting for tables. There were several groups there. We waited 25 minutes for a table. After ordering, the food came out quickly. My friend ordered the four course meal, which came with a cup of chowder, a side salad, cajun chicken linguini alfredo and a dessert. The pasta was a huge portion, and he couldn’t finish it. He said it was great with a good spice to it which means it was 2 – 3 stars in heat. I ordered the admiral’s feast, which I didn’t realize was an all fried situation: shrimp, bay scallops, flounder and clam strips. The clam strips were too small and too breaded to eat. The rest were fine. It came with a baked potato. I had a coupon for a free dessert, and they don’t have much to choose from so I got chocolate cake. It tasted like it was fresh from the box. Of course, the cheddar biscuits were excellent. I ordered a raspberry lemonade. After one sip, I almost gagged. It took a while to get the attention of the waitress to bring me a soda as a replacement. The lemonade tasted extremely artificial and full of chemicals. After I drained the soda, it got refilled once and stayed empty the rest of the two hours we were there. I asked a couple times for a refill and it never happened. We had to ask for additional napkins. There was a party of eight sitting next to us and the waitress seemed to have her hands full with them and the rest of her area. She was pleasant but clearly overwhelmed. She was either new to being a waitress or not use to being busy. The parking lot was totally full so we had to park over by the mini strip mall. Not a big deal. Notating that the parking lot is small and plan on dropping off grandma in front of the restaurant if needed. My BFF mentioned to the waitress we were there for my birthday. No one came by to wish a happy birthday or sing. However, they sang to four tables around us and delivered a free dessert to each. Good thing I had a coupon to get my free dessert. The lobsters trying to climb out of the tank in the lobby were the subjects of dark humor and entertainment while waiting for our table. All in all, I would return on a quiet day and order something unfried. Food: 3.5 Service: 2.5 Ambiance: 3 Parking: 2

Had a great experience! At arrival, we were quoted 2 hours, which was a bit discouraging, but they got us in in under 30 minutes! The food was amazing, but the service is worth bragging about. Our server, Alfonso, noticed right away my son had a batman sweatshirt on. He tried to engage him in stories about batman, but my son is autistic, and wouldn’t make eye contact. Alfonso got out a pen with the bat signal light on it, which my son loved. At the end of dinner, my son was starting to struggle with his surroundings, stimming and rocking. Alfonso came and gifted his batman pen light to him. He is now obsessed with it! Thank you, for making my son’s night!

This place is amazing the prices went up a bit but no matter what the food is still always hot and always fresh. Drinks are big and staff is always refilling can’t complain. The cheddar Bay biscuits are to die for and always hot.

Seafood is okay. It’s not bad at all, but not the best either. Don’t go here expecting Salty’s or Lobster Shop quality food. Though, to be honest, does anyone come here for a reason other than the Chedder Bay Biscuits? Those are like crack!

I would give Red Lobster an extremely high 5 star every time simply for their extremely tasty buttery biscuits. Our waitress this evening was very nice and took care of us. Just a really pleasant lady! The food is always just okay. It taste good. But not the number one choice for seafood. But again the biscuits are AMAZING!!! Come here for these crack biscuits. And for good but not great seafood. We ordered the ultimate feast. And the salmon was the best part! Lobster was underwhelming. And shrimp was shrimp.

So far not thrilled! A 20 min wait at 9pm because their management didn’t staff properly?! Half the restaurant is empty. What a joke!

Great service! Seafood everywhere and decent drinks. I had the crab fettuccini and it was pretty normal. It was pretty salty, and some of the crab pieces had a weird, tough texture. We also had this sampler, which came with shrimp cocktail, coconut shrimp with piña colada dip, and crab and lobster stuffed mushrooms. It was small for three people, and somewhat pricey. My parents has the ultimate feast which wasn’t huge. It was also salty. Basically, the place is pretty pricey and is not the best quality for seafood. Typical chain, what do ya expect?

Red Lobster, you’ve got delicious biscuits. Thank you for letting me secretly pay ahead of time for my party since it was my sister’s birthday and they wouldn’t let the youngest girl pay. The service from Kylie and the hostess was great and they were really sweet and nice. My lobster bake had delicious seafood but the pasta fell short. It felt like they cooked the noodles and buttered it and buried it under the seafood for starch. It wasn’t seasoned very well. The mussels and shrimp were really great and the lobster was alright. As for everyone else in my party, my boyfriend said his chicken pasta was too creamy and salty but managed a to eat quite a bit. My sister liked her ultimate feast, she didn’t like the rice though. Her boyfriend got the fried shrimp and he enjoyed it. I feel like it’s a hit AND miss in some areas. The complimentary dessert(brownie a la mode) had a good brownie to ice cream ratio but the brownie wasn’t… A brownie. It was more like a cake that had chocolate lava throughout the whole thing. A soggy chocolate cake lol. I’ll come back for biscuits and seafood, only if I’m in federal way!

I don’t know of what the bad ratings are about. Came here for lunch. Service was great and food was better than I remembered. Had a bad experience at other chains but the staff was great. One of their better locatiins. Crispy coconut shrimp as appetizer and soups were pretty good.

First off, I only eat seafood once and a while because it’s very expensive. This red lobster was HORRIBLE. All of the guests there were seated in the same section. The hostess took us back to a dirty table. And then took us back to the lobby, cleaned it and then brought us back. Our server forgot our biscuits, switched out drinks and then forgot about us. My friend ordered salmon and got some other fish which was CLEARLYNOT Salmon. When she tried to talk to the server about it she told my friend that she was wrong and we could hear her talking about us to her coworker around the corner. UNPROFESSIONAL. She came to our table once to check on us and that was it. My food was warm if best. When we were leaving the hostess asked us «how was everything.» I told her it wasn’t the best but it was ok. To which she replies«that’s great!» Don’t waste your time here, bad service and Lukewarm overpriced food.

I was surprised to hear that Red Lobster was still open. Sure, I see the commercials occasionally, but I figured there were just a few holdout restaurants located near large retirement communities(we were invited there by my 67-year-old MIL). Jeez, there was a 35 minute wait, but most of that was due to understaffing. Empty tables were plentiful, and probably a dozen parties came and left after hearing about the long wait(lost sales, RL). I can’t figure out why people still eat here. Between all 6 of us, we ordered just about every type of seafood they sell(except lobster), and none of it was good. The«Admiral’s Feast» is basically all of the frozen fried fish products served on a ceramic plate. They don’t bread fresh fish by hand and fry them in the back. The fish and chips should be really good at a seafood place, but mine would have been more at home in a middle school cafeteria. Seriously people, if you want seafood, walk next door to Ivar’s and get similar quality for less money on a paper plate. You’re paying a high premium for«upscale rustic dockside» décor, table service, and white ceramic plates. There’s a reason it’s so dark in there and the prices are so tiny(8pt font). If you can’t live without that experience, bring a cardboard box and a nice plate with you to Ivar’s next time. Buy your food, put it on the plate, and ask the Ivar’s counter person to bring it to you while you get underneath the box. Bam! 20 bucks saved.

I come here a couple of times a year. I like the seafood esp the shrimp scampi .and crab legs. We had an excellent waiter today named Will. He was fast, polite and friendly. My mom had the clam chowder and she said it was pretty tasty. I have never been disappointed coming here. Also thank you Meagan for holding the doors open for a long time so I could help my elderly mother out comfortably

One star for fantastic service. One star for those incredibly delicious cheddar biscuits. These bad boys make it impossible to resist, no matter how hardcore you’ve been about carbs. I took my Mom here for my birthday. We hit a 2 $ movie that I let her pay for, then my treat was lunch. She loves Red Lobster so I suggested we come here. I also love me some shrimp and I’d seen a commercial regarding their all you can eat shrimp promo. My Madre went with their Main Lobster, a baked potato with the works and shrimp. I tried every single option on the all you can eat shrimp menu. As Tim C listed each option, I won’t go there but I will say they were all very poor. It seems the shrimp is frozen. All the garlicy or scampi versions were way to heavy, drenched in butter and just gross. The sriracha shrimp was bland, aside from the fire it leaves in your mouth. The breaded option was also bland and the sauce they served with it didn’t make any sense. The coconut shrimp was way too sweet and served with a sweet sauce as well so it was overwhelming. Mom loved her stuff but after a taste test, I can say I’ve had better at the Outback. That sounds ridiculous but it’s true. On a happy note, my Mom found some sort of big box of Red Lobster cheddar biscuit mix and brought it over the other day so I may be developing an addiction here shortly. And an even happier result, as I have their best item in my own kitchen waiting to be baked I will not have to come back to this establishment. Our lunch was 75 $. Now THAT is ridiculous.
