This might not be the right location to the one I went to, but the facility was very clean, and that is surprising when it’s a «fast food» place. I love the food, try not to eat here too often, but always good :)

I visit this taco time on a regular basis and always have a wonderful experience! The store manager is always aware of the customer experience and it shows in her team of employees. Thank you for setting the pace where all should be!

Love this local taco time off 320th. Fast, gracious service. Delicious food. The place is clean. The jalapeños always available :) Minus one star for the limited parking and no drive through. But overall my favorite fast food chain and location besides chickfila.

Food was OK but the counter service was horrible. Zero personality and zero courtesy. No eye contact, no «thank you»…worse than a robot order taker. Who hires these people? The older lady who delivered the food to my table was much better but if she’s the manager, she needs to find someone who cares just a little about service.

Great location. Food is always fresh and quickly made. Never had any issues. Store is pretty clean considering how old the building is. The team is always smiling and eager to help when taking the order. My only issue with this location is that there is not drive through :(but not the teams fault. A regular location a few times a month.

When it comes to fast food mexican restaurants, Taco Time is my all time favorite! A fixture in the Pacific Northwest for longer than I’ve been alive, they keep their quality standards high across the board. The ingredients are as locally sourced as they can be and they even have a nice revolving seasonal menu. In the summer months when romaine lettuce is bountiful, they offer a chicken caesar salad or a chicken caesar burrito. Both of which are a little on the pricy side but delicious just the same. Now that fall has taken over and the air is chilly, try their white corn chowder with or without chicken. It’s sure to warm you up fast. If that’s not hot enough for you, they make their own salsas and hot sauce and they’ve added a new set of burritos to the menu that are here to stay. The crisp chicken habanero and the regular chicken habanero. They have that spicy kick that you’re looking for. I did notice the last time I ordered the tostado salad that they have made the shell a bit smaller but I was just as full all the same after I was finished so I won’t really complain. They have raised their prices a bit over the last couple of months and if they are shrinking portion sizes at the same time, I will be very disappointed. One thing that I love about Taco Time is there commitment to the environment. They were one of the first and only restaurants to start separating their trash into recycling, composting and plain garbage. They’ve even gone so far as to supply nearly 100% biodegradable materials so that you can compost almost all of it instead of it going to a landfill. They are probably the only restaurant doing so south of the Sodo district too. Now if they could make the opening to the compost bins a little bigger than a football, I could actually get the trash in the bin and not all over the floor. Taco Time boasts that they don’t use scales or weigh out their ingredients. Instead, they prepare your meal based on a recipe and this shows. Some employees get the recipe just right while others are very liberal with the ingredients and then others hold back a bit. If I’ve ever had a problem with a Taco Time location, it would be my portion size or the treatment from the employees but even when those are bad, the food is still amazing! Give Taco Time a try and you’ll see. Thanks for reading.

I normally love taco time it’s probably my favorite fast food restaurant that I go to. Not so much today. I got there right after they opened, so you would think the food would be fresh. My tortilla was dried out and stale. The meat had an old weird flavor and the lettuce was browning. Won’t be going back to this Taco Time.

Awful. Worst mexican food ever. Worse then Taco Bell. Husband got the nachos and pretty sure they were microwaved. Chips barely edible. One star is being generous

Great food but I question the sanitary practices of this place. Service sucks at this location. I’ve seen the boy who wears glasses wipe his nose with his bare hand/arm on two different occasions. The first time was when he was taking my order. He kept wiping his runny nose with his bare hand, and cont. to take my order. I lost my appetite and was very disgusted. I love Taco Time, and this is the closest one to my house, so I went back a second time. He was in the back making food, and I saw him wipe his nose with his bare arm again! I have never once seen him wash his hand/arm after. Very disgusting. I love the food, but will not eat at this location again. They don’t have a drive thru either.

I’m not going to spend much time on this restaurant as it wasn’t that interesting. It’s a fast food joint, like a Taco Bell with booths. The place was clean and the workers pleasant. I ordered some kinda combo plate — a chicken taco and fried burrito tube. It came with retried beans, a lame-ass pile o shredded lettuce and unripe tomato slice, and to my shock some tater tots. They were the highlight of the meal. The rest of the food was bland and dull and tasteless. And watery. The meal might have been saved by a few bottles of hot sauce on the table, but there were none, and it didn’t seem worth the effort to get up and hunt for them. So in short, a big«meh.» I didn’t die or anything, but I don’t see any reason to go back. Unless you REALLY like tater tots.

This one is better than the Auburn location or Fife location. It is quick and the people are friendly. Food is fresh and good. Thanks for being :“Fast food” not wait 25 minutes in a hot car food.

Kind of like an over priced mix between Taco Bell and Moe’s. Nothing tastes like it’s made fresh… the salsa and chips were like something from the local grocer except worse. I was visiting the area with my family and lost my senses for a bit and forgot to read reviews of this place before we decided to eat here. No one in my family was happy with their meals… we only ate enough to fulfill our appetites since we were starved from the plane ride. Not sure if this place requires an acquired taste but heaven knows I won’t be back to find out. With 3 stars on Unilocal, looks like the locals must like it. So proceed with caution, we sure didn’t and got let down.

OK, my other review for Taco Time in Federal Way near Home Depot was low. Now, the service here is mediocre at best. They don’t smile, they actually look mad about being there. That’s not a good sign. However, on the positive side, I’ve been going to this one since I moved back to WA on and off and love that they actually make their soft tacos look like the pics!!! They don’t totally skimp on items, including meat. The downside, no drive thru, so not family friendly when you need to run through. The tidiness of the main floor is okay, nothing to complain about. The bathrooms could use work.Gloves. Worrying about hygiene and food, most wear gloves, but here’s some education for folks that I always emphasize, if you aren’t touching food and wearing gloves, replace them before touching food again. That’s my only concern as it’s not clean and the kids nowadays don’t seem to soak it in from food handler training. My all time favorite Taco Time was the one back in the days, & only one 20 miles of anything when I was younger. It was off Pac Hwy and 260th. When they closed I was so depressed. Glad they have more, just wish other locations would make their soft tacos more filled. My niece and husband get the chicken and we counted four pieces of cubed chicken in the soft taco and tostada salad there was five pieces and lots of lettuce and beans. Hmm… That’s depressing. Stop by this location. They will actually make a meal look good, but ignore the grumpy faces. Another good one if you’re in the area and don’t mind the drive is the one off Pac Hwy and Fife. As you can see I can find a Taco Time anywhere. :) They are super friendly and they will double check your order. Depends on who is making it but they are decent. I think the group there is a cohesive team, which makes all the difference when going there. :) Happy eats!

Service isn’t so wonderful at this location, and the food isn’t that wonderful either, especially for the price. I just like their crispy burritos and the mexi-fries. I ordered a chicken burrito, the beef crispy burrito, and tried their new spicy habanero chicken crispy burrito. I also ordered the sweet potato Mexi-fries. The beef crispy burrito was good as always. The spicy habanero chicken burrito wasn’t as good as it looked, and wasn’t as crispy as it should be. But the sweet potato Mexi-fries were actually crispy, better than when I first tried them. The worker wasn’t too friendly, could tell he didn’t care that we were there. We asked him what was the«burrito sauce» that came on the burrito. His answer, «It’s burrito sauce. There is no other way I can explain that. It’s burrito sauce.» …Ooookaaaay…

Service is slow, no drive thru so you have to get out of your car… I know I’m lazy for complaining about this but at least I’m honest about it! The food here is always sub-par and is hastily thrown together even though they take FOREVER to get your order ready. Every time I eat here, I get sick and I can stomach Taco Bell! So there is something wrong here… Also it is RIDICULOUSLY overpriced! If you must have Taco Time, drive down to the big glass one in Auburn. It’s less than 15 minutes away.

Growing up in the Pacific NW, Taco Time was a regular dining spot. We went back here for ol’ time’s sake. For those who are unfamiliar with Taco Time, this is NOT supposed to be authentic Mexican food, but rather an Americanized version. The menu has changed a lot & it took a while to figure out what to get. I’m glad they had the mini meals, since their food is quite filling. We ended up getting two crisp burritos with beef, which were like skinny chimichangas. The deep fried flour tortilla exterior had just the right amount of crunch. The inside is soft, moist, & quite salty. I couldn’t put my finger on the spice mixture, though, it’s not as concentrated as authentic Mexican spice blends and there’s no heat. It tasted a bit weird. There is supposed to be cheese in it, but I didn’t pick up the flavor. Texture is finer than ground beef, but not as fine as pâté. DH says, «It’s not as bad as I expected. It was surprisingly edible.» I tried a crisp beef taco. There was a generous amount of meat, cheddar that tasted like real cheese(!), a ton of crunchy iceberg lettuce, and a tiny sliver of tomato on top. Shell was thin and crunchy. Meat was finely ground and mildly seasoned, like the stuff in the burritos, but not as salty. Tomato was mealy & flavorless… yeah, some things are better when they’re NOT local! Pac NW doesn’t get enough sun or heat to grow superb tomatoes. One of the best items were the«Mexi Fries», which are referred to as tater tots outside of Washington state. They were hot and crunchy. Yum. Crustos, which are deep fried flour tortilla pieces covered in cinnamon sugar, are great when hot. I thought they were a bit too sweet, but that’s a minor gripe. Parking is difficult in the small lot, but there are plenty of shared lots close by. Service was okay. The person who dropped off the food could have said, «enjoy your meal» or something to that effect. Instead, they just dropped it off & ran. Restaurant is pretty clean inside & they make a real effort to compost their waste. Kudos for that! DH also liked their soda machine. It’s a fancy, touch-panel, multi-flavor choice one. Overall: better than Taco Bell, but not as good as Del Taco. If we do return, I’d like to try some of their healthier options.

I love the taste of Taco Time food but hate their prices. I always feel cheated after spending $ 9 on lunch here when I know I could go to my favorite Mexican restaurant La Hacienda in Renton & get a much better meal for less. That said I did enjoy my 2 beef baja tacos & those addicting Mexi Fries dipped in that yummy ranch sour cream. I just got water to save money but they do have one of those super cool soda fountains that have lots of soda options. Nice interior. Clean & bright. Small parking lot right near a very busy intersection.
