Signature Home Health

I used signature health care because Swedish Hospital set it up for me after hip surgery. What a big mistake! It started out well when a gentleman came out and met with me and we discuss my care. I gave him my expectation and he said it was reasonable and they can meet my expectation. Well the failed the first time a nurse came out she called me and did not identified herself and I did not realize who I was talking to and I had to call the office to find out she was a nurse but it was not the nurse that they had assigned to me when I agreed for their service. Anyway we got that issue resolved. When the nurse showed up she did not identified herself or even had an ID tag on. I was really hesitant to let her in not sure who she was but I finally did but she did not tell me her she was until after she sit down. I was not impress with her expertise. Very poor communication skills and seem like she never had anyone on warfin before. Anyway it was like that for the 4 weeks I was with them. the Physical therapy was even worse service. They did not have a program for me to follow and the only exercises the gave me was the one I was doing before they even came. They did not have a plan for my recovery. I quit service with them after 3 weeks. I decided why have them come out and have them ask me what would I like to do today and then leave. I would recommend do not use this company for hip rehab. They might be ok for older people but is not very dependable for rehab.

This home health agency has some of the best ratings in the area and in Washington State. Their re-​hospitalization rates are very low and the clinicians are very knowledgable in all areas of nursing, physical therapy, occupational therapy, and social work. The managers (including the administrator, Becki) are very professional and educated. My grandmother was cared for by their nurse and PT, and she has improved significantly and has not been back to the hospital since her admit to St. Francis Hospital. I would recommend this place to anybody needing home health.
