Stayed in the area for work, and the hotel staff recommended Imo’s for good local pizza. They didn’t disappoint. We had the deluxe, which had just the right balance of toppings. We had been forewarned about St. Louis pizza, so we knew about the different combination of cheeses. Definitely a different pizza experience compared to Chicago or New York, but this place does it well! Would highly recommend this place for a solid local eating experience. Service was efficient, although I did get put on hold for a moment as soon as they answered the phone.

I will start with I not from St. Louis. This pizza is their thing and I finally found out why. The trick is not to get it plain. I went with a deluxe which featured pepperoni, sausage, green peppers, onions, and bacon (I had them hold the mushrooms). Of course it features the St. Louis provelle cheese which gives the pizza a different taste. Pretty good even from a non native.

I no longer live in St Louis but I’m there twice a year to see family and I’m usually picking up a pizza at Imo’s in Bentley Plaza at least twice each visit. The pizzas are always ready when I get there (never any longer than 20 minutes from order to pick up) and always fresh and made just as ordered. The staff is friendly and efficient.
