Papa John’s Pizza

I ordered pizza and anchovies as a side — when they came, I asked if the anchovies were included, and the delivery guy said they were — but when opening the box, the anchovies were missing! I called to complain, and they actually sent a driver to refund the anchovies plus the delivery fee. The pizza was fine — management and customer service were excellent!

Having the pizza delivered was for me. Than one day while in the area I decided to stop and pick up a pizza at their shop. What a mistake! A dirty place it was and the help didn’t look much better. I have never ordered or eaten a pizza from there again!

First impressions are lasting impressions! If you don’t like your job QUIT! Customer service at this place sucks. Makes for a horrible dining experience. And word of mouth travels fast & does more harm. I wouldn’t go back here if they gave me free pizza & paid me to eat it! I always liked Imos, Pizza Hut & Dewey’s better.

The worst thing about ordering was the delivery time. At the hour mark, we called and were told it was busy, plus some shiftiness about «what should we tell them?» when they thought we couldn’t hear them. I’ve ordered Friday and Saturday nights before from other places and they seem to manage their rushes a whole lot better. And we’d like to hear the truth, not some canned patter.
And then the food came – not the delivery person’s fault; the food was still warm/​hot. They were apologetic, although it wasn’t their fault. Tips were still given.
Now, I’ve never really had Papa John’s before; my husband generally likes it. When we started eating, he commented that hunger improves the taste of things. Well, if so, that wasn’t all that great a pizza since I wasn’t really impressed. Unfortunately, I doubt any other PJ’s will deliver to us since we’re in this one’s delivery zone, so I likely won’t find out otherwise any time soon.

Carryout — free garlic sauce. Looks like they are in need of hiring. The manager was rolling dough when I came in. Applications on the counter. Pizza was okay — sauce a little sweet. Cheese sticks are good.

I don’t know how this location is in business. The pizza and wings are horrible. We called the manager to explain our disappointment and he was very rude and argued with us. We’ve ordered from here several times before and it is always poor quality. First time we called in about it though and were treated poorly. Never again, and do not recommend.

I have been ordering from this papa johns for at least three years. And they are always on point !!! It always come fast and is always delicious. Make sure you ask for the crust well done. It’s amazing !!!

Took an hour and a half for my pizza to arrive and it wasn’t even what I ordered.
