Got home for the Holidays and waiting in the kitchen was an Imo’s pizza, salad and cheese bread. Creamy provel, lots of bacon and pepperoni. Imo’s dressing for the salad. The taste of St. Louis! Yum!

I have been eating Imos all my life and this location was specifically my favorite Until now! Im pretty sure the front desk girl who took our order had been drinking. She asked what our order was 2 different times after placing our order with her and paying. The pizza toppings were wrong even though they had asked me five times. When I addressed this issue the staff was rude and they didn’t even make another pizza. This location is super close to my house and I have always loved this one but I’m not sure if I will be back to this location u til something changes.

Went there yesterday while in town from Nebraska, have been to many Imo’s and was not happy with this visit. Asked for all mozzarella but got provel, which I think is nasty, and leaves my mouth dry. The crust was tough and was hard to bite and even cut with a knife. My family wanted Cecil Whittaker’s but I insisted on Imo’s, now I am the villain.

The worst imos I’ve ever had. Ordered 3 times now. They use the Louisiana toasted raviolis by the way. So bland and tasteless and when I ordered a Hawaiian pizza I got hamburger pineapple? Don’t order from here it’s fake imos

This is the absolute worst location. Every single time we order for delivery, the order is wrong. Every single time. I added a Unilocal account just to post this i have been So incredibly frustrated with the constant mistakes. They have had to bring out new food, one time we called to complain we were on hold 10 minutes for a manager, and he was even rude to us when they screwed up our order again. I mean how hard is it to follow an order? I worked at an imos before and probably made less mistakes in a year than they do in 1NIGHT! Do not order from this imos, not worth the money spent and frustration.

I grew up eating Imo’s and specifically this location. I will admit that Imo’s isn’t for everyone. I learned that slowly after taking my best friend in college for the first time and she told me it taste like sh. Eh girlfran… I didn’t know you tasted sh*t before but I love it. The saltine cracker thin crust is different, and the provel cheese has a weird tangy taste but I love it. My sister and I usually share the lunch special which is a one-topping with the side salad. The salad isn’t quality but the house dressing is where it’s at. I love how the interior of this location has barely changed. It’s not the best-looking but it sure feels like home to me.

I like Imo’s very much. The pizza is good, salad is good, just the wings could b better.

A great option for local pizza flair offering its own blend of cheese for its pizzas. Reminded us of Donato’s in Columbus OH. Pizza was good, delivery was quick. Order extra breadsticks as the orders are small.

This is the best Imo’s location! Fast delivery, excellent quality and very accommodating. I love everything on the menu… bacon pizzas, hot roast beef sandwiches and crispy toasted ravs! Yum!

I always order from this Imos and it’s always amazing! Pineapple pepperoni is the best.

As a native St. Louisan, I have always been hesitant to criticize Imos since they are supposed to be representative of the St. Louis style pizza. But I have had it. I have watched the quality of pizza go down over the past 20 years, not to mention the staff and service. Last night my husband and I decided to order Imos since he had never tried St. Louis style pizza. We had ordered the veggie pizza and added pepperoni. What we got was a pepperoni pizza with over baked cheese. It was clear they had left the pizza in the oven far too long. Thank goodness we also ordered the toasted ravioli, another St. Louis favorite. Those were actually pretty good. The ends were crunchy and the middle was soft, but not doughy. The toasted ravioli are the only reason I have not given Imos one star. Not only did they get the pizza order wrong, they charged him twice, once online and once at the store. We then had to go back the next day to get a refund. Bottom line: Find a better pizza joint that can bring back to life St. Louis style pizza – and then please pass on your recommendations to me!

Imo’s does have a unique taste. It is due the provel«cheese.» Admittedly, provel is not a cheese, but a pasteurized cheese product… kinda like Velveeta. I personally love this pizza. I love the cracker-thin crust. The tang of the provel and I disagree that the toppings are flavorless. I will concede that this pizza is NOT for everyone. You either love it or you hate it. There’s really no in-between. However, if you are on the love it side you will have a hard time with portion control because this pizza is addictive.

Not only the worst pizza I ever had but maybe some of the worst food I ever had. I heard about Imo’s from people in St. Louis and they recommended that I should try it. Just a little hint, if you are not from St. Louis, DON’T EATTHIS. What does the pizza taste like? Imagine a cracker with acid reflux sick as a sauce topped off with cheese whiz and flavorless sausage. I am not saying this as a joke. I get acid reflux and it tastes exactly like it. And this so-called cheese called Provel, only people in St. Louis like it. I think they are forced to like it as a kid and then just get immune to the horrible taste after a few years. Or people in St. Louis are just forced to say they like. Otherwise, they might not be «St. Louis» enough if they openly reject this garbage. So, nice people of St. Louis, if an outsider is asked about a pizza, be nice to them and never, ever, for the love of God, recommend Imo’s! Say Dominos, Pizza Hut, even recommend that they bring a Totino’s Pizza home, but not Imo’s! It is a St. Louis thing, and will only ever be a St. Louis thing.

Imo’s pizza is a very unique style of pizza with a very thin crust. I have eaten pizza from all over and have had many different kinds, and nothing compares to Imo’s. This location has flat-screen televisions to watch news/sports will dining.

Imo’s is St. Louis’ best and most distinct pizza, by far. Thin as Kate Moss, with provel and your choice of a variety of fresh toppings… I always order green peppers, mushrooms, pepperoni, and extra sauce and it comes out perfect. My only word of caution would be never to order it with just cheese. Some say it tastes like cardboard this way. For me, it needs to be piled high with toppings so there’s more cheese and extra sauce. Their house salad is also amazing: the dressing is perfect and the cheese, scrumptius. Even the tiny carrot shavings(and I don’t usually like carrots) add to the flavor. This location in particular is a favorite of mine because of the larger dining area. Although Imo’s is more expensive than the other delivery pizzas, it is well worth the price for the taste!
