Star 30 Nails Spa

Loved this salon! Very clean, & a nice relaxing atmosphere. The chairs were all new and comfortable. The techs were polite and did not rush, despite being really busy on a Saturday. The tech took her time to create a unique design for me. I would highly recommend them!

1^st time here and will never go back. Not even worth me telling you the entire story. Just know that they said it «won’t be long» and I was here for 2 ½ hours for a pedicure. Can’t even believe I didn’t get up and walk out. Not to mention there was a lady that started yelling «my fingers are burning» because she was left sitting with foils on her fingers for so long!!! Had a gift certificate that they wouldn’t take even though it matched the sign outside (not my problem) because they apparently got new owners. The manager just kept telling me she wouldn’t get paid, that the new owners wouldn’t pay her if she took the gift certificates. I paid her cash for the awful service anyway even though I shouldn’t have. One of the most awful customer service experiences I have ever had. I know word of mouth goes further than a Unilocal review, and people ask me all day long where to get their nails done and it will not be here.

I went to nail 30 this morning for a mani/​pedi before the holidays and a trip to florida. The manicurist was not friendly… She didn’t say two words to me during my pedicure then she scolded me for not drying my hands good enough during the manicure. She spoke to a coworker in her native language for a good bit of time during my manicure. The place is clean and the wait wasn’t bad but due to the attitude of the worker I will go somewhere else next time! It’s a shame since I live so close to their location. They also seem to «judge» you if you choose the basic pedicure. This was my second trip to the location. The first time I went I was pleased with how my nails looked but the manicurist was very pushy about getting me to get more services (that I didn’t need or want) — eyebrow waxing, upgraded pedicure, etc. I thought that was rude but I gave it one more chance. I’ll be searching for another nail salon with friendly workers :)

This was my first visit. Went on Wednesday afternoon & it wasn’t busy which was nice. I was seated in a pedicure chair right away. Amy was my technician. There are the usual massage chairs. I chose a lavender scented selection & had a nice calf & foot massage, hot paraffin, hot stones & lovely warm moist towels applied twice. Amy did a very good job sprucing up my sad feet. I’ll be making this my regular pedi spot for sure.

I live in the area so I’ve stopped in here several times. Very clean salon and the vast majority of the employees I’ve encountered have been quite friendly. I always get the special pedicures with the hot wax and leg massages — my feet are always SO smooth after. On my most recent visit I scheduled an appointment for 4 as we were prepping for our Caribbean Cruise. No issues scheduling and when we showed up (staggering in one at a time…) they had four chairs set aside for us so we hopped on up and got our feet soaking in no time. I decided to splurge a little for the trip and got a gel manicure in addition to my wild orchid deluxe pedi. It’s been 12 days and only a slight chip on one of my nails where the polish had lifted a bit. For 7 days splashing around in the ocean and hauling luggage, I think it’s held up fantastically. Will definitely return.

Best nail salon around! It’s always very clean! The staff is very friendly. Never a long wait! If you want a good pedicure this is the place to go! I’ve been to several places and they are by far the best!

New to the area & looking for a new nail Salon. The place looks very clean but
–unfriendly staff
–massage chairs are useless
–dead silent in here (no music or TV’s on)
–manicurist had an attitude and made a face like she smelled shit when I picked the cheapest pedicure (had no intention of ordering the good pedicures until I see how their basic pedicure first)
–tried to speak to manicurist but she blatantly ignored me and started speaking her native language to the other workers there (rude!)
–magazines were over a year old
–foot & leg rub was a joke (it was like she was patronizing me)
–wasn’t careful about not getting my skirt wet (she splashed water all over it when she was rinsing my legs with the water & her hands
–by far the worst pedicure I’ve ever had
The 2 stars is because the equipment was really clean… go somewhere else.

i love star 30 nails! i travel all the way from chicago to get my nails done here, really! i grew up in fenton and my mom shirley, sister tammy and i always come here… they do such a great job, and are very nice. plus, they have great spa packages that you can get and the prices are very reasonable. i can’t wait to come back to st. louis and get my mani/​pedi on!

I went to get a mani/​pedi/​wax on Monday and had the very best of all three ever. Todd did my mani/​pedi and Lisa did my waxing.
Todd also took care of a couple ingrown nails that were bothering me. My nails look beautiful and my feet feel wonderful.
They were friendly and especially accommodating. They salon is unusually clean and equipment is beautiful and new looking.
I just feel it’s not often that you get everything you expect, but I did. I’d recommend this salon to anyone and can’t wait to go back. So glad you’re close to where I live.

The owner «Tina» is very rude. Very pushy trying to sell you services you don’t need. I have personally seen her offend women for not getting a manicure with her pedicure. The lady was so embarrassed, but she kept telling her «You hand so bad, you need, I make pretty for you.» The lady was a mechanic and told her this many times. I apologized to the lady for her rude sales tactic. I used to go here but the only two «Good» manicurist left. I have seen her rush so fast thru a pedicure and not even make eye contact with the customer because all she cares about is the next dollar she can make. I would have done less than one star if it would have allowed me to. Terrible way to be treated in a customer services oriented business. Mind you I gave them numerous opportunities before posting this. They are very very mean to their staff.

This is the best shop in the the St. Louis Metro area to recieve a pedicure by far! OMG!!! talk about relaxing the massage was spa quality and my feet look beautiful! The staff was great, the shop is clean, and decorated tastefully! They also offer childrens mani’s and pedi’s with special little chairs and entertainment centers! If you are in Fenton check them out!

I have to say I received a good pedicure here, but the staff was just down right rude!
Based on the basic spa pedicure alone I would give them 4 stars. They took their time and gave an over 5 minute leg/​foot lotion massage. My tootsies looked beautiful when they were all finished!
Now the customer service on the other hand was pretty poor. They had a bit of a wait when we arrived, but when people would walk out due to having to wait too long they would leave their current customer in the middle of the treatment and run out the door after them. How ridiculous! If she left in the middle of my pedi a 3^rd time I was going to walk out too! They were also pushy if you were not paying attention to when they wanted you to move your feet in and out of the water. I am trying to relax dammit! Stop yelling at me!
Due to their immature and rude behavior I will not be back. I can get beautiful feet somewhere else without the attitude.
