OMG I love this place! A friend and I met there during the week between Christmas and New Year’s Day and it was packed with people. We had the most wonderful server, who made our visit all the more enjoyable. We were catching up so stayed quite a while. We kept asking her if she wanted to turn over the table and she assured us she was happy to see two friends having a good time.(We, of course, tipped her extra for her graciousness.) The coffee is French-press brewed right at your table and it was fantastic. They leave the pot at the table yet the price was really reasonable. We each had a vegetarian plate, which included hummus, pita, tabbouleh, stuffed grape leaves and a small Greek salad for 11.85. There was so much food, neither of us could finish, BUT we ordered desserts, which were to die for! Parking in the area is a pain, and you might have to wait for a table, but these inconveniences are worth it. If you’re looking for outstanding food and service, give The Laundry a try.

The Laundry is a place to keep up near the top of your favorite restaurants list. Breakfast is always good and it’s not your typical breakfast menu which is a huge plus! The sandwiches on the lunch menu are guaranteed to fill you up too! Coffee is always fresh ground, served french press style, and full of flavor. The best thing about them though, is all of their bread is made right down the street at the bakery that they own — Crust, which needs a review all it’s own. Not a cheap place to eat but worth the extra cost to eat someplace that offers a different menu.

Great food and service. Excellent events too. The bartender John has a bit of the white knight syndrome, but that’s a hipster’s paradise if you’re into that.

Food is great. Love the Monthly salads, which by the way are huge. Loved the pressed coffee, hot and full of flavor. I will always go here, when I am in the neighborhood. Yum!!!

Stumbled upon this place after a wedding we had in the area… Let me tell you in one word… Phenomenal. Everything about this place was awesome. The food was spectacular, service top notch, and atmosphere warm and friendly. I beg you if you are in the area swing on into the laundry for a bomb breakfast or lunch.

Great French onion soup and I got the #13 food was good and they are big portions. The only downside is it’s a bit pricey.

Great food, but this place had lots of issues. First off, one bathroom for an entire restaurant of customers and staff? Seriously?! They are lucky my four year old didn’t have an accident on the floor waiting outside the door after a long car ride. The time it took our food to arrive at our table was nearly an hour after being seated. None of us ordered complicated dishes, they just took forever to arrive. Even worse, they didn’t deliver a dish to the super hungry toddler, which would have been nice. He had to wait like the rest of us. Flagging down our waitress for drink refills was a chore. At first they were pretty slammed, but even when things settled down after the lunch rush we still were passed over again and again. Portion sizes are ginormous for the prices and the food is of seemingly high quality. They have won numerous awards amd proudly boast about magazine articles(as well they should!) Maybe it was an off day, but this, place had so much going for it with the food only to have other components of dining there detract from it.

So delicious! We eat here about 2x a month and I don’t think I’ve had one bad dish. I personally think their brunch/breakfast menu is the best. I’m not a fan of the dinner menu just because the portions and huge and there is not a lot of varity. If you go on a weekend be ready for a wait. On a side note, I love their corky chairs.

Have been here twice for brunch and am looking forward to going back for dinner. Sat at the bar both times and the bartender was extremely knowledgeable about the menu and also the cocktails she was mixing. Of course you have to have a cocktail with brunch! Don’t forget to hit the bakery on your way out. Simply incredible!

One of my best experiences in a restaurant ever. Me and my friend shared The French onion soup for an appetizer, and we loved it. The broth was delicious and it was a legit French onion soup. For our main course my friend had the sandwich Ron’s lifesaver. She ate the whole thing and couldn’t stop talking about it, so we’re going back tomorrow. I had the Croque Monsieur and it was absolutely amazing! We bought a PB and Jelly doll donut to go and that was also freakin incredible.

I wished I didn’t pick the shittiest of shitty nights for my first time here. Saturday, 6pm, raining, cold, and it was Homecoming night. All the stars aligned for me to wait 1 ½ hours for a table but it was COMPLETELY worth it. I was beyond starving at this point so I got the side Caesar salad to start. It was good but it was missing the croutons which MAKE a Caesar Salad but the bonus egg in it did make up for the lack of croutons. Next, the piece de resistance: Bacon-Wrapped Meatloaf. THE best meatloaf I have ever had in my entire life. Beef and pork meatloaf wrapped in applewood-smoked bacon with smashed horseradish redskin potatoes, brown gravy and crispy fried onions. The meal was so velvety, buttery, and succulent. I could only finish one of the pieces of meatloaf(they give you two giant pieces). I can’t wait to come back here to try some more tasty morsels off of their menu!

This is by far 1 of my favorite restaurants(that list is very small– foodie am I). Their various scallop dishes never, ever disappoint! The Scallop & Pork with the sweet potato pancake… this was an amazing. We love the eclectic ambiance & the servers are very friendly, knowledgeable & always happy to recommend dishes or drinks.

I had the roasted eggplant and it was so tough and rubbery I had to ask them to bring me a steak knife. Even once I was able to cut it, it was extremely chewy. The service was great. It was a little slow but the restaurant was extremely busy. I enjoyed the eclectic atmosphere, but I probably would not go back.

The décor of this place is very cute and down to Earth. I came here for a lunch with my co-workers around 12:30pm. We had to wait around 10 minutes for a large enough table but most tables were fill. I was surprised to see such a large lunch crowd. The food was very good! I got the«I don’t need no cell phone»($ 16) and was blown away. I also got the Mac N’ Cheese but it wasn’t anything special. They have a bakery attached to the restaurant but I didn’t get anything. My co-workers did get some cookies and said they were delicious. I would definitely stop in.

I went for the breakfast which I heard was phenomenal, but when I got there at 12:10, they told me they stop serving breakfast at 12. I ended up trying their sandwhich The State Bankonator in exchange for pancakes and it was incredibleeeee. The service was friendly, the latte was good, and the décor and atmosphere was super welcoming and cute. Totally worth the 25 minute drive from my house! UPDATE: 10÷16÷15 I just wanted to say I’m even more happy now than when I first went. After a horrible experience with my waitress, I decided to call and speak the manager. He was so kind, and truly made me feel a valued customer. It truly goes to show that one bad experience at a restaurant does not mean it’s a bad restaurant!

The Laundry has gone through a few iterations and it’s amazing how they continually get better. Dinner specials are great. Creative. Great ingredients. Polished service. Breakfast specials are as good as is dinner. They have a hit a sweet spot of quality, sane portion size and price. Sandwiches for lunch do not fall into the sane portion size. They are huge. Split one or take a ½ home.
