Kohr Brothers is always a treat! Frozen custard is a rarity in the Northeast so when we are down in Delaware we absolutely indulge!!! My favorite is the orange sherbet, the hubby loves the chocolate mint swirl. The girls stick with chocolate with chocolate sprinkles. All served on a wafer cone.

I am in love with soft serve ice cream and my go-to is the chocolate and vanilla twist cone. I ordered a waffle cone and for the price it seemed very small! The counters were clean and it wasn’t busy. Will I return — probably not. It wasn’t worth the almost $ 7.

You will die and go to heaven and it will tasted like Kohr Brothers. The clouds will be made out of marshmallows and it will rain colorful sprinkles. It is the boardwalk favorite off the boardwalk. I got the pumpkin cinnamon and man, oh man… delicious. You cannot go wrong with this treat. Don’t miss it.

Always loved kohrs brothers since I was a kid! Definitely a must have if you’re by the beach. My favorite is the orange sherbet with sprinkles.

Amazing. I can never eat another dipped cone at DQ, that’s for sure! The peanut butter and chocolate swirl dipped in chocolate is pure bliss. Just eat it fast so it doesn’t melt!

Love me some chocolate-dipped cones! And the fact that they have coffee-flavored custard takes it over the top — it’s the ultimate mocha treat! $ 4 for a cone and add $ 1 for the«chocolate dipped» = a $ 5 quintessential, boardwalk delight! You can also get your custard in a cup, add toppings, and there are around 6 – 8 flavors to choose from. As much as I love sprinkles on my custard, I can’t say no a classic chocolate-dipped cone. Hit up Kohr Bros the next time you’re at the Bethany Beach boardwalk!

Pretty good frozen custard but I don’t think it’s worth the price five dollars I just assume go across the street to golf down under and buy ice cream

Yum, yum, yum. If you haven’t tried frozen custard, you are truly missing out. Kohr’s is the best I’ve ever had. I can’t really describe how excellent the chocolate, peanut butter swirl is. Homer Simpson would probably just say…“mmmmm…custard.”

Frozen custard has become a beach tradition for this family. Different Kohr locations have different prices… cheapest on the OC boardwalk, DE locations seem to be about a buck more for a regular size. Servings are considerable – a regular should be plenty for most reasonable tummies. Fun to mix and match flavors, but straight vanilla and peanut butter are clearly the tastiest ;).

got the vanilla-orange sherbert twist cone — it was the first ‘creamsicle’ i’ve had in quite a while and it was delicious. it’s custard, which i guess means more eggs are involved in the making of it, but it tasted damn good.

July 4, 2013 — entire staff walks off the job, shuts the place down to watch fireworks. 100 people standing outside — all potential customers(about 10 stayed for frozen custard after staff re-opened at 9:50pm. Business loses $ 500+ in sales(at a minimum probably closer to $ 1,000) plus wages. No manager on site, summer hires ruin business. Hey owner, get smart and hire a responsible manager! When a customer tells your staff«if I owned this place, you would all be fired», and they laugh — you have a problem. Kohr Bros: good product, garbage customer service. Avoid this place if you value businesses that care about its customers.

Great frozen custard with enough favors to feed the family, including seasonal changes to the offering. For those who have never tried frozen custard(similar to Rita’s) it is firm but it melts fast. It is very creamy but not particularly cold like soft-serve is. Flavors are pronounced and it feels lighter as a treat than regular ice cream. Peanut butter is great and when you can get it, the cinnamon/pumpkin is amazing! 4 stars only because the prices are high for something so easy to make and serve.

Wow does this place know how to make you happy to break a diet or a late night snack. The custard is delicious and velvety and slightly high in price but well worth it. The chocolate isn’t some overpowering taste, it blends well with the vanilla and is perfect on those warm summer nights.

Pretty good, but I think $ 5 for a «large» is a little excessive. The large really was not that big and I think it better classifies as a medium. So I was a little annoyed after I paid and then was handed such a small portion size. Oh well. I got the mint/chocolate swirl and despite the small size it was very tasty. I liked how their default cone was a cake cone and not those craptastic«sugar cones» that I hate so much. It was easy to get and no line. Next time I will shop around a bit before deciding on an ice cream to make sure I’m getting the most value for my money. But I will give 3-stars anyway because I really don’t know what the other prices are like in order to compare.

Disappointingly small serving prices for the price charged. You get a better value at virtually any of the local ice cream or frozen yogurt places. It tastes good. There’s just not much of it. Oddly, they don’t offer lids to take a frozen custard to go, which is particularly unhelpful since there’s also no seating at this shop.

I have an Ice cream addiction, so lets just get that out of the way. I came to Bethany Beach a few weeks ago and strolled across Kohr Bros Frozen Custard. I LOVE frozen custard and had not found a place selling it in years. I quickly ordered a regular custard which was very satisfying. SO lets cut ahead about 6 hours, three beers, and a pulled pork sandwich later. I was strolling down the street and decided– it’s custard time again. This time I wasn’t messing around. I sauntered up to the counter and slapped down some money for an orange-vanilla swirl custard in a waffle cone with sprinkles. I am so glad I got it. The custard mix tasted like an incredible creamsicle! I highly recommend trying this place out if you are in Bethany.

This location is at the end of Rt. 54 where it meets Coastal Highway, next to Fisher’s Popcorn and TC Diner. Milkshakes($ 6) were thick and yummy. The mochacinno($ 7) was heavy on coffee flavor, less so on chocolate. Friendly counter help when we stopped late on a Saturday afternoon.
