Way over priced for what it was(which is probably why they hide the prices from their menu online average $ 24 – 28 per entrée). We ordered take out for 5 people and it was $ 150. 4 pasta dishes and one veal. The pasta dishes looked large, but were almost all pasta — very little sea food or sauce. They hid the up charges on caesar salads(extra $ 2 if you want that instead of house salad… because a house salad is just lettuce with one slice of tomato and a little onion). Then to topi it all off, they asked for a tip after handing up the plastic bags. All around disappointing!

We have been going here for years. It is definitely slipping into mass food service. Food quality is ok, except for the meatballs and the garlic bread, both of which are delicious. Management is stand-offish and not engaged. Waitress this time was rushed and bordered on rude in the beginning, although she did come around to become nicer later. Watch out for the manager, if he thinks you have stayed too long he will ask you to leave«because other people are waiting.» It’s worth trying, but it’s been better.

A favorite local italian restaurant, great meatballs, great garlic bread, great lasagna but skip the veal masala, i love veal but this was the toughest most tasteless awful veal that i have ever ordered, i hate sending food back but my meal was awful. Service was good for a busy evening, the service staff did all of the right things, great local restaurant, adequate but certainly not superb.

My wife and I have been to Mancini’s a number of times. We have also been with friends and family. We have yet to have anything less than an excellent meal. Plenty to eat, fair prices for what you get. Being around food service/restaurants for about 46 years I feel like I know quality when I see/taste it. You can order anything and count on it being decent to outstanding. You will not be disappointed and meal pricing is justified. As in any place drinks will shoot the bill up and their pours are generous. It is a small place so if you don’t like waiting get there when the doors open. I have had a waitress or two that could have been more attentive and nicer, that is to be expected now and again. If you visit the area you have to give Mancini’s a try. Enjoy!

Nice restaurant/bar in Fenwick. Good pizza with nice selection. No draft beer, unfortunately, but decent selection of bottles and wine. Good selection of Italian specialties. Liked the atmosphere and the service was friendly and prompt.

In town for a romantic getaway with my girlfriend. I had grown very discontent with her as my girlfriend. It wasn’t enough any more. I needed more out of life. So I took her out on the beach and told her how much I loved her, how deeply in love with her I was. I presented her with a ring and asked for her hand in marriage. She cried. I cried. She said yes. I was all like, «Whew!» We decided we needed to celebrate. It was off season so there wasn’t much open, but Mancini’s was. We love Italian so we decided to give it a shot. We were not disappointed. My newly upgraded girlfriend/fiancée had fettuccini Alfredo and I had the veal parmesan. Without a doubt the best Italian I’ve ever had. The veal was absolutely perfect. Didn’t need a knife. The Alfredo sauce was equally amazing. The atmosphere is very romantic and the service was stellar. Pricing is what you’d expect for a high caliber restaurant but won’t break your budget. We can’t wait to visit Mancini’s again next time we’re in OC.

I really enjoy this place. The food is consistent… Always good. My favorites are… the mussels posillipo appetizer– fabulous flavor in a generous portion served with delicious bread for dipping. Speaking of bread… Pops garlic bread from their appetizer menu is what I base all of my garlic bread ratings on. This stuff is to die for. Super yummy!!! I really enjoy the ravioli entrée. Super delicate and tasty with a superb sauce. Overall this place has a great vibe. Wonderful food in a small quaint beach setting. In my opinion you can’t go wrong here. I am a tough critic.

Last night 11⁄18 my wife and I had the veal parm. For $ 26 each we had Veal half of which was quite tough and hard to cut? We couldn’t Eat it. We did not complain as we were part of a large group of 21 and didn’t want to make a scene. Needless to say we were very disappointed . We should have had the small plates which everybody seemed to enjoy. My suggestion is if your going to charge $ 26 get a better cut of meat. I

If the Eggplant Rollatini is the appetizer of the day, order it. Even if you don’t like eggplant. We order it every time and it is always terrific; imagine a lasagna where the noodles are sliced and fried eggplant. It’s absolutely wonderful. Outstanding lasagna and fettuccine Alfredo, some of the best I have ever had anywhere. I’m not a big fan of the plain old spaghetti and meatballs; the meatballs have good flavor but the overall combo is just sort of generic. There are better options on the menu. The house salad is really good, but the field greens can be difficult to pick up with the dulled forks. And only order the scampi if you(and your companions) love garlic. The bowl is covered in chopped raw garlic, absolutely covered with it. The tiramisu looked lovely but lacked flavor; save your money and hit up a Kohr Bros for some soft serve. Parking here is insane since the place is always packed(even off season) and the lot is tiny. Go early and beat the crowds if you don’t want to park in an alternative location.

Ordered take out pizza. Wasn’t ready but had a glass of wine watched chef make our 7 pizzas. Gave us extra Parmesan cheese. Very good pizza. Place was mobbed off season.

Not sure why everyone is raving about this place… it was maybe one notch above an Olive Garden. Not exceptionally good Italian food but not bad either. For the price($ 25 – 30 entrees) it’s definitely not worth it. Pass Mancini’s and go down the next block to Nantucket’s.

Went here based on Unilocal reviews. Was not disappointed. We had a party of 8 and our server was very attentive. We had a mix of brick oven pizza and pasta, all was superior. Great little gem at the north end of Ocean City(actually southern tip of Fenwick Island) which is where we stayed. Can’t wait to go back next time we are here. Try them out, you can’t go wrong with something for everyone.

Really good option just North of OC. I’ve had many good meals here and most recently the eggplant parmesan(special). The mussels are fantastic, the bread with roasted garlic is nice. Kids love the pizzas and they have 10oz pours of wine with lots of options. The interior décor is a little dated, but we’re here for the food.

We love this place and come here year round. The food never disappoints. I really wish we had been told that the AC was broken last night when we asked for a table inside… we asked for a table inside because it was a hot, muggy night. Once inside, we ordered our meal. Our server delivered our drinks, and then went to the next table and proceeded to tell them about the wonderful specials that were being offered. Hmmmm… Now, maybe it was the heat that was making me cranky, but I was slightly irritated that our server forgot to tell us the specials. When we finally caved and asked about the heat, we were told that the AC was turned up to full capacity.(Later, a local told us that the AC was broken and the repair man was coming the next day…) Grumpy. and hot. I entertained the idea that we should have it all packed up and take our dinner to the beach and dine. I love this place. Truly I do. But next time… just be honest and say that your AC isn’t working. Or tell us that it is better to sit outside(when we left, it was very refreshing to walk outside into the breezy evening air). And maybe offer a cold beverage or something(even an apology instead of acting like nothing is wrong…) I will be back to enjoy the best Italian food on the eastern shore. And I suggest you give them a try, too. The food really is superb.

MUSTLIKEGARLIC Okay, here is the deal… I’ll post a picture of the just some of the garlic in the Capellini Con Pollo… I love garlic. I even ordered the roasted garlic appetizer… which lacked something… maybe needed some salt? not sure, but it was rather bland… garlicky(of course) but bland. Now, on to the one seasoning they do know how to use as if it were the main ingredient to their dishes… the amount of raw garlic in their entrée’s is the sole reason why there are no vampires anywhere in the Ocean City/Rehoboth/Fenwick Island area. OMG! I will say the chicken was cooked perfectly, but your not going to taste that anyway… If you are accustomed to eating raw garlic as if it were an apple… then this is the place for you. If you like to actually taste something other than garlic… I would highly suggest someplace else. The bread was absolutely awesome! So, let me add this up… one star for the bread, one star for the way the chicken was cooked… and that’s it. nothing more… Again, I love garlic, but check out the picture… there was at least an entire bulb of garlic in my one dish! I’m guessing it was supposed to have one«bud» but the chef’s misread the recipe?! The Fettuccine Alfredo — was quite a bit lacking as well. It was quite bland. We didn’t try the Pizza’s… maybe that’s their forte’? But I’d be too scared to try their white pizza… I’ve had enough garlic for a while…

Great Food! We got there fairly early on a Friday night and were seated right away. Our server was very friendly and attentive. We started with the bruschetta sampler… a very good choice! It was almost gone before I even thought about taking a picture! We followed it up with a house salad and the Gorgonzola salad. The dressing was good but a little overwhelming on the romaine… I would stick to the house salad. We split a pizza and it was the perfect size for two people. We added red peppers to the white pizza. It had excellent flavor and a nice crisp crust. We will definitely be back for more!

I was in town for a conference, and a coworker buddy of mine and I decided to head out for a decent dinner. I conferred with good ol’ Unilocal to check out nearby dining options, as we didn’t have a lot of time before the conference grand opening. Lo and behold Mancini’s popped up and was just a short drive away! First impressions were good, as the cute young hostess gave a nice smile and seated us immediately(I imagine it wouldn’t be so easy on weekends and nights in the summer!), and the place just had a comfortable feel. We split an eggplant appetizer, and my friend got the salmon on special while I opted for the lasagne. The waitress was nice enough to tell us that the regular meal portions are hefty, so we ordered our entrée choices from the«smaller plates» page. We were both thankful that we did, as neither of us finished the healthy-sized portions after enjoying the appetizer and being unable to resist the fresh baked bread! All three of our selections were simply outstanding! The waitress was nice and attentive, and the good, fair prices on the«smaller plates that weren’t so small» made the meal a bargain for its quality. Thanks for leading me there, fellow Unilocalers!

I really, really struggled over whether to give this place a 3 or a 4. I’m gonna be generous and give them a 4 for a couple of reasons. First of all, their takeout is always speedy, dependable, and friendly. I’ve never been left on hold forever, and whoever answers is able to accurately describe the specials of the day. Food is always ready when I come in, and they always remember to give Parmesan with the order. The food ranges from decent to delicious. Some of the regular pastas on the menu have sauces that lack great flavor, but the quality seafood they use makes up for it. Their salads are pretty good, and the garlic bread is the best I’ve ever had anywhere. Some of the shining stars are the specials they feature. The crab ravioli is really good. It’s in a sherry cream sauce, with ravioli that is stuffed with crab, with a generous amount of crab in the sauce. It’s something I look forward to when going to the beach. They had a calamari gamberi special one time that was really, really good. So always, always ask what they have for special. The main reason I bumped them up to 4 stars was for the service and atmosphere. I order takeout a lot, but eating in there is great. The atmosphere is great, especially in the off season, since the noise level is more subdued. The service is fantastic-it’s always been quick and prompt. One night, they weren’t running their Crab Ravioli special. When I asked about it, our server asked the kitchen, who made it special order for me. Just a sign that they truly value customers. Overall, I’ll keep coming back. I’m not sure I would come back in the peak of summer, but it is still one of the best choices in the off-season.
