Get the potato chips with any dish. They are homemade and fantastic. Only negative on the place is they are not big for substitutions. In my mind you should always say ok to a substitution charge more if you want but just don’t say no. The food is always great. Had a terrific potato leek soup if they offer it get it. Salads are good. Prime rib was very good. Steaks are always very good. Music is also very cool. Plenty of tvs to watch the game.

I’m not sure what more I should have expected when I came here short of the hope of some quality Irish eats. First off the place appears really big with the large mirrors on the walls and the huge center bar. It was pretty packed so we say at the bar and ordered a beer and requested menus. An older woman came up from the table behind me to order a drink. That is when I started to think something was unusual. I visually surveyed the population and realized that my buddy and I were the youngest people in this bar by 20 plus years. I am 47. Not that the older crowd shouldn’t have a cool place to hang out but I felt a little like bait fish. I returned my attention to the menu expecting a boxty or fish and chips or perhaps a shepherds pie — nothing but sadness and disappointment for my taste buds and belly. They may have well called this place Chili’s because it has a similar menu. This restaurant should not be permitted to have an Irish name. There is nothing Irish about it except for the older clientele and the bartender. I’m not going back for 20 years. –Baitfish

Okay, I am convinced. Went again, fantastic service from a bartender who knew her wines and advised well. It was still a little confusing… specials at any table, but half price wine only at high tops or bar. But we got it, and the prime rib($ 21) was both wonderfully tender and sufficient for lunch the next day. Garlic mashed potatoes were delicious(and no risk of not being done!) excellent meal for excellent price. Now if only I can figure out when that special combo is available, I will be at the door!

Just ok. The restaurant layout is interesting though, one side is more of a sports bar, and the other side a nicer dining area. There were plenty of windows to let in natural light. Upon entering, the host was not very friendly, a bit sarcastic. The waitress was not friendly either. The service was very slow; we waited for probably at least 20 minutes to get our food. We came for brunch. I rarely(if ever) have had an omelette that is less than delicious, since they are relatively so easy to make! However the chesapeake omelette was not good. The crab taste was lacking, and the eggs were overcooked/dry. A friend did not like his vegetable omelette either. The hash was decently good though, tasted like French fries. The crab benedict was good in that the crabcake contained a lot of crab meat. However compared to other Maryland-area restaurants, the crabcake itself was just ok(maybe overseasoned with parsley?). The hollandaise was too mild for my tastes. There are so many other options in the area!

By far the most arrogant staff/management/owner on the eastern shore. Witnessed a male representative running the parking lot like a psychopath screaming at people that they couldn’t park in front of his restaurant. Including one family that stated they were going there to eat and yet he made them move. Witnessed him use demeaning sarcastic statements to the elderly about parking and take out orders. We left, my money can be spent elsewhere to businesses that welcome clients. If this was the behavior outside, imagine what it is like behind closed doors in the kitchen!!!

Claddagh on the Shore did not disappoint. Good food that you expect, if you have been to the Baltimore location. We had onion straws, buffalo wings, the Reuben, blackened chicken sandwich and the hot corned beef sandwich. All were very good, and our waiter was friendly. Looking forward to going back!

Food is pretty awful. My chicken looked like it had been sitting under a warmer for hours so I very politely asked my waitress if I could possibly just order something else. She actually rolled her eyes and just grabbed my plate and walked away. She seemed to have disappeared so I walked up to the bartender to ask if she could find my server for me. The bartender was drunk and a little rude also. Suffice it to say I didn’t order anything else and will never return.

Worst service ever! It was a busy night with a soccer game so I understand a little wait but almost 2 hours for a table is crazy. Especially when tables weren’t bussed or turned in a reasonable amount of time. Two 6 top tables sat empty and there were at least 5 big parties waiting. The other crazy thing is you could tell management had their family there who just sat at the tables without food. Food took 1.5 hours to be delivered and not one cent was deducted from the tab. They could’ve given us our appetizer for free but instead asked if we wanted to order dessert. A table next to us left before their order was delivered and we were tempted to do the same.

Don’t get this place. Not and Irish dish on the menu. Its got an open air dining area that faces the parking lot and the coast highway. Normal beach type food at a place with an irish name. I just don’t get it. Not bad but not impressed.

I have been to Claddagh many times and I can honestly say that I never had a bad thing to eat there. I have been especially impressed with their homemade soups. I also enjoy their burgers and the crab toast is just amazing! They have half priced bottles of wine during certain times and you just can’t beat that deal.

Went Friday night for HH with friends we were visiting. We all had different apps and a drink. My husband had chicken fingers. By 10PM he was violently ill which lasted till daybreak. After he emptied all he had in his stomach he recovered somewhat later in the day. At least we didn’t have to cut short our weekend with friends.

I guess I should’ve been suspicious when a girl at my table asked the waitress if she’d recommend the fish tacos and the waitress straight up said no. But I can’t take a hint, so I ordered the fish tacos anyway. They were gross. A giant slab of fish with some wilted cabbage underneath, wrapped in a flour tortilla. When I picked one up, a mixture of water and oil poured out in a steady stream onto the other two tacos. They did make a pretty good Bloody Mary, so you should be fine to come here if you just stick to drinks.

The drinks are cold. We didn’t do dinner having just come from harpoon Hanna. However the live music was a nice touch. The atmosphere caters to a middle aged crowd which served our group perfectly. Plenty of seating and parking right in the heart of fenwick. Not quite the same as baltimore’s Claddaghs.

Rude, rude, rude. Had stopped in and wanted to finish our stop in Fenwick for lunch. They saw us walk next door to go in a shop first and came out to tell us we couldn’t park there. We explained we wanted to run in a store first. Didn’t care. The parking lot was empty!!!

Saturday night 8PM. Can’t figure this place out. Irish theme? Only the«Pub», side The«Dining», side more nautical with sky blue walls and odd open bulb ceiling fixtures. The menu is a weak one with only a couple Irish items, Standard fare wings, burgers, sandwiches, steaks etc. Themed?, Smoked Salmon(Scottish), a Rueben, and Rack of Lamb(more French than Irish) Why no stews, meat pies, casseroles, sausages, fresh fish choices? Some stars for server trying hard, service fairly efficient,(again, not busy), and food was tasty and hot, unfortunately the menu isn’t creative or unique. The Dining area although new was not stylish at all and the TV’s are not necessary. I’ll only go back if the menu evolves.

Had lunch here with the family. Everything was great. Shrimp salad had large shrimp, hamburgers were good too. Service was good. I thought prices were really fair compared to the normal high prices at the beach. I would recommend it.

Have eaten here on multiple occasions since its open a couple weeks ago. Have been happy with everything so far. The wings are to die for… you have to try the Old Bay wings. I had to ask for a second order because my girlfriend and I finished the first plate within minutes. The serving sizes are more than enough and the staff could not be more friendly. Love the environment– it is very welcoming and friendly. Also a great place to go and watch games. It seems as if you can turn your head in nearly every position and there is a big flat screen. Went here to watch several of the FIFA World Cup games and get some drinks and wings… awesome crowd and of course, awesome food. Got the Kings Cut Prime Rib on my last visit and was very pleased. It was cooked to perfection and the dish was very big. Not sure about these other reviews on here. This restaurant did just open several weeks ago… you have to expect the usual kinks. Every visit that I have made to Claddagh has been a great time. Come on people youre on vacation at the beach… give these people a break!
