Very friendly, personable staff. The omelettes and mochas we had were great! If I visit Ferndale again, I definitely will be stopping here!

We ate breakfast and the food and service were excellent. The price was very reasonable. We visited from Minneapolis and would eat here again.

A wonderful family runs this place, along with its first eatery, the Ferndale Pie Company. The Omelette Factory is omelette’s and other homestyle cooking fare, like their delicious chicken pot pies. The family staff make you feel right at home the moment you enter. And had better make sure you have room for their dessert pies.

I can’t believe the quality of food in this area is so low. If Sysco truck ingredients, microwave fresh dishes, and overbearing Christian rock are your thing well then this place is for you. Is it so hard to hope that folks so fanatical about their religion would at least be somewhat serious about the food they eat and serve. Dennys serves higher quality. Below par at best.

Just ate lunch there. The bathroom was very dirty, and the restaurant was also quite dirty. The service was bad, and the food was mediocre. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone that I know.

Came to Ferndale to eat at humboldt sweets but alas it was Tuesday and they are currently open wednesday to Sunday the omelette factory was a worthy substitution great service cute and spacious ambience we all ordered a la carte and the scones, perfectly poached eggs and especially the giant brownie with homemade whipped cream were outstanding… we will return

I have mixed views about this place, and because I’ve only been here once I don’t feel like I have a lot to go on. But I don’t see myself really going again anytime soon(I don’t live close) so I guess I’ll put down a review. The staff was very nice. She was attentive, polite, and even went and asked the cook about some local things to do(we asked). She went out of her way to make our experience a good one. Props for that. We each had an omelette(given the name of the place we expected them to be amazing), and were sadly disappointed. They were cooked just… wrong. Flavorless, small, and just done wrong. The ambiance was cute(probably more of a girly thing than a place a guy would want to go to), it was very clean(bathroom was too), and it was quiet. If I do go in again it’ll probably be just to enjoy a cup of coffee and not to eat. But considering that this is a newer place I’m hoping they’ll end up perfecting their omelettes and end up doing really well. I do like seeing small businesses succeed. Maybe I’ll go again later in the summer to see if I’ll find something on the menu that’ll end up being a gem. I hope so.

Yummie! if you are in the area you HAVE to stop by this little gem of a place! The food is delicious but not only that but the service made us feel like we were over at auntie’s place for dinner. The owners are so sweet as well. On our way out we got one of their home made pies… cherry pie to be exact and it was just right on the sweetness. just perfect! Next time we are in the area we will for sure stop by and dine there and bring home a few pies =)

If Ferndale wasn’t charming enough already, this little gem puts on of my favorite weekend tourist destinations over the top. We were greeted by a really warm and friendly waitress(Sue). She was very sweet, and genuinely interested in where we were visiting from. The food was wonderful and the portions were really large. I had biscuits and gravy, and my husband had one of their signature omelettes. The omelette came with a HUGE serving of country fries. Bonus points for the well-made mocha(something very hard to find in Ferndale). My only negative if that I couldn’t take this place back to the Bay Area. We need a place like this where we live!
