Chop steak 5 star meal I love when everything is farm fresh. Best breakfast I’ve had in Humboldt in the 3 years I’ve been coming here, it’s a must stop

Bad service. Rude waitress. Terrible food. Would not at all recommend eating here. My family will not be returning.

If you want a small, rustic town feel than this is the place for you. Great breakfast/lunch spot, or even for a specialty coffee to go definitely worth the stop. I have had eggs benedict all throughout the north coast and this place has the best.(Fri sat Sunday only) My wife got the steak and eggs(did I mention it’s ran by the cattlewomen association) she said it was on point. The apricot jelly that they give for toast immediately took me back to the summers getting apricots from the fruit stand down the road. Top notch service, happy to see this place doing well.

I’ve been here several times for breakfast and lunch since they opened, always a good meal. Today I tried their pulled pork sandwich with a side of house made coleslaw(other sides available) and was not disappointed. My server, Lesley, is always cheerful and competent. She greets everyone with a welcoming smile, keeps the coffee cup full and always mentions the daily specials. This place is located in fernbridge, just a short distance off highway 101, and is definitely worth a stop if you’re looking for a good meal at a good price. Lots of menu offerings.

great burger because of the patty, which had tons of mineral flavors in a bite that few burgers today have. there was no need for s&p just a little dab of dijon mustard and let the beef speak for itself. what caused it not to get 5 stars was the bun, a little to par baked in texture and needed some heft in your hands and in a bite.

Found this on Unilocal while driving past Ferndale. It was a cute restaurant and service was quick and attentive. My husband and I both ordered french toast with bacon. He got a side of eggs and I got a side of home fries. When my food came, I heard the waitress say to someone in the kitchen«that was a small side of potatoes!» and a few minutes later she brought me another plate of potatoes. I didnt think the side seemed that small, but I was happy to eat the extra that she brought because they were delicious! I really appreciated her attention to detail when I hadn’t even complained about anything. All of our food was perfect and the price was great. We will definitely stop here next time we are driving through.

This rating is just for the café. The drink was some type of coffee chocolate drink and it just didn’t work. The place itself is spacious and very clean. Chocolate things were everywhere from the drinks to actual chocolate and coins. There were rodeo pictures bringing the cowboy theme. Salt and pepper tin cans were different too. They were old fashion.

First time to Ridgetop Café. Locally owned with lots of locals enjoying their food. Good menu selections and friendly service. We were here for breakfast. I had an omelet with bacon, jack cheese and hollandaise sauce. Fried potatoes on the side with a biscuit. Good and very filling. Tried the eggs Benedict(see picture). All was very good and will return.

I had onion rings and a hamburger. The onions rings were perfect and the chipotle mayonnaise was divine. I had a grass fed 1⁄3 pound hamburger with bleu cheese and bacon. It also came with red onion and spring lettuce not just the boring iceberg lettuce that many other restaurants offer. The hamburger buns come from the Vellutini bakery in Eureka California and were doggone good. This was one of the best hamburgers I have ever eaten. And one last thing, this restaurant has some of the best coffee in Humboldt county. They get a special roast from the Humboldt Bay Coffee Company. It a excellent balance of flavors.

Unbelievable service by Marcie and wonderful local sourced food! The best you can find in rural northern CA if you’re traveling US101. Free range chickens and eggs. Local raised grass fed beef. Fresh fruit just cut for me! I had the Fernbridge Benedict with homemade hamburger gravy. My fiend had a made to order omelet that was better than ever. We shared a piece of carrot cake that was out of this world delicious! I know I know I am gushing… it was just such a pleasant surprise for us. I even bought homemade jerky to take home to my husband! Please stop… it definitely will be worth it! Pictures included

Great little gem we stumbled upon! My boyfriend ordered a 1⁄3 lb locally raised by the owner beer burger with bacon and blue cheese for around $ 13. It was served on a freshly house baked bun. It was one of the best burgers we had in a very very long time! I had a free range Marys chicken breast sammy with grilled shrooms, swiss and avocado for $ 13 as well. The chicken was juicy and delicious! Fresh bun and house made earthy aioli were fantastic. The place is very charming inside. They have off sale beers but not much more than a small selection of chotchkies. Otherwise this isnt a Market at all. The service was great and friendly. The server said they do Monday night open mic night thsts pretty fun.

Alas! A yummy, affordable place to eat in the Eel River Valley that sources local produce! We ordered the Ground Beef Hash and the classic Eggs Benedict. You know how you can tell the difference between good food and processed food– this is good food! Super delicious and lovely presentation. They serve beer, wine, mimosas. Lunch & dinner. They also have a full espresso bar. I was craving a Mexican mocha. They didn’t have the Mexican chocolate so the barista offered to create a mocha with spices and chili peppers– holy moly! It was better than any Mexican Mocha. All the flavor without the sugary overload. Thank you, sweet barista with the cute starfish earrings! That was over the top service. Speaking of service, our server was kind and quick. When our food was delivered the server informed us that the chef was sending out another egg as one of the eggs had«broken.» Above & beyond. The ambiance is great– very shabby chic meets farmhouse. They sell local farmer’s market wares– Ewe so dirty, Henry’s olive oil, Frog Alley wines– in the market section. All in all, a welcome a much needed addition to the Eel River Valley’s eatery options!
