Very good food and service. Love the Avocado appetizer and the home made soup. Great view. Good prices for what you get! Bar next to Restaurant is cool and out of the smoke.

Had the Tuesday Prime Rib Meal and it was really good. Walked in an were immediately seated. Order was taken and food was served promptly. Vegetables looked a bit lack luster. The bread was lacking color and I requested some darker and the came right out. Everything went fine until the waitress, Sara was verbally combative and lacked integrity regarding her screw up on informing me of particular add on mark ups that were on the menu. I am in the service industry and any mark is up is ALWAYS mentioned. I was okay with the mark up but I wanted to bring it to her awareness which clearly angered her and she slightly raised the volume in her voice and walked away declaring she would send the manager over. Thankfully! It was understood and cleared up by the manager. Funny the couple in the booth next to us discussed it and the lady said she would not order that item since she heard through our conversation the price was higher. I overheard her order the same item specifically detailed… Sara never mentioned the markup to either couple on each side of us. Sara when become that upset over your oversight and need to be right, reconsider working in the service industry… THATISYOURTIP! NOTE: The one star is for Sara, whose service was actually decent up until«She» wasn’t.

In spite of the mixed reviews, we decided to eat here because we were staying in the hotel after a long day of driving. We were tired and didn’t feel like driving more. How bad could it be, right? Wrong!!! It was a big mistake! Do not recommend. The food was horrible. Service was lacking and we are glad we survived. It’s all I can say. The whole group spent the night scared of suffering from food poisoning after the bad experience.

I have been here more times than I can count. The food is usually far better than the service busy or not. Just had Christmas buffet with family @ $ 25 a head. It was very good. However we ordered the optional prime rib that was not on the buffet but at additional cost. When my 78 year old mother and 72 year old Aunt could not finish their slice and asked for to go boxes it was frowned upon and told it could not be supplied. WTF??? I get the no to go boxes for a buffet but this was something that we all paid EXTRA for! They did not in any way have a plate full of buffet items that they wanted ‘to go’. I am BEYOND pissed off!!! Did not want to create a scene but plan on taking it up with a manager and will certainly think twice about spending money here EVER again!

We frequent this casino because it’s close to our home. The comp for rooms, food and free play is consistently good. The hotel is always clean and enjoyable. The rivers edge is nothing but a huge disappointment in a otherwise great place. We’ve had lunch and dinner there multiple times over the years, and have always been unhappy. Was hoping for a change after the recent remodel, but the menu and same low quality of food remains. Or verdict: stay and play, just eat somewhere else first.

There was tofu scramble on the menu. The seating was nice and spacious and there was lots of light. I was happy to sit by the window and have a good view. The coffee was amazing and waitresses were perfect. When I needed water they were there.

Had the bacon wrapped meatloaf for dinner. Tasted great and had large portions. Was able to take home and have lunch the next day.

Friendly, fast service. Knowledgable staff. We appreciated the local wine selections. The fried chicken plate and the taco trio(white fish, salmon & rock shrimp) were mediocre — although the fish INSIDE the taco was great! But the buck sport oysters were out of this world! HUGE, mildly briny, and SUPER creamy, they were absolutely delicious. Grown in a protected oyster farm outside of Eureka, I feel like I was let in on a little secret by partaking… Also, how can I not appreciate some blue crystal on the plate… #ripwalterwhite

Things started out great I found a $ 20 bill floating around the parking lot. That’s when it went down hill. First No Kids Menu(I figured Ok its a Casino). Second the place looks nice we were promptly seated in an empty restaurant at 5:30 on Sat night. That should have been the red Flag! My wife had the fish tacos Not to bad. I ordered the Three piece on the bone Fried chicken and Bleu cheese Mac. When it arrived it was three very small store bought Chicken strips. I kept waiting for the waiter to return so I could ask to reread the menu. I was sure I had read Bone in Cajun fried Chicken. I googled the menu while I waited. Yup it was supposed to be Cajun fried bone in chicken with a bread crumb crusted Mac. I had gotten an $ 18 chicken strip plate with uncooked zucchini and Wayyyy overcooked corn. My daughter had ordered Fried chicken and Mashed potatoes She also received the same lame frozen chicken strips $ 19. I NEVER complain about a meal but this was a bit much. I politely explained to my server Smokee, when he brought the check they should fix the menu. He asked why and I explained what I had ordered was not what I had received he agreed and left to charge my credit card. No sorry! No explanation! I almost stiffed him on the tip.(I didn’t) I’m still looking for the bread crumbs on the Mac, the bones in my chicken, some cooked veggies, dressing that’s didn’t come from a jar and a waiter who cares. I gambled and lost at the rivers edge!

Sat for 20min waiting to have are drink order taken. The people across from us showed up after us and is now eating their breakfast. Asked for creamer for coffee twice, then had to get it off another table. Because of the poor and slow service I asked for late check out of hotel, only to be given an extra half hour. Next year we will stay somewhere else.

My family and I went there on Easter for dinner. They had a buffet that was $ 23 per person and only offered Ham, chicken and few sides. That’s it… and charged $ 23 per person… It was outrageous. They didn’t even have mashed potatoes but scalloped that tasted awful. I will NEVER go back and no one else should either for that price and such a horrible selection of food. You can go to a steak house for that price and get more food and better food. It was truly awful and I see they are charging the same price for Mother’s Day as well. My advice is to not go. You will be very disappointed.

To start with, I asked for a Coke. I got Pepsi. The prices were not bad for a nice place. Unfortunately the food was average at best. $ 19. for fried chicken and it was unremarkable. Can’t think of any reason at all to go back. Smelled like a casino.

Tuesday night is prime rib night! Dining solo after enjoying a couple drinks and donating to the machine gods… 14.9910oz prime rib. Was seated at the window and enjoyed a great meal and great service. Opted for the soup. Tonight’s was chicken bacon potato. Very good. The meat ordered rare an hour before closing was perfect! Only 2 complaints First, the breadsticks are awful. Hard and over seasoned. why the butter? Second, the asparagus, delicious in flavor, was a tad over cooked. I’d eat here again. I’d like to try something off the menu.

Heard about the new remodel. heard the food was good. They advertise Ocean View seating. The ocean is out there… way WAY out there… but, I’m sorry, the restaurant overlooks the casino parking lot and the Pump and Play Gas Station… Brought my Husband for his Birthday and have never been more disappointed with a meal… We started with drinks… those were ok… nothing to write home about. We asked for water, which eventually arrived, but was served in glasses that smelled like a dirty dishwasher. My husband ordered the Fried Avacado appetizer… I got the Fried Mozerella. His appetizer was pretty tasteless except for a decent dipping sauce. At least his was edible! The Fried Mozerella was horrendous… It was SLABS of breaded Mozerella served over wet tomatoes… it was tasteless soggy and disgusting. I’m not one to send things back… but this, after just one bite. I had to object! For entrees, I ordered the New York Strip, Medium. my husband got the Lobster Ravioli… My steak came butterflied. indicitive of someone who doesn’t know how to cook a steak to temperature… and was VERY well done. like. shoe leather well done… I could barely cut it or chew it… My husband’s Lobster Ravioli looked like lobster and smelled like lobster. but he said it tasted of chewy clams… we’re guessing they were frozen. He powered though a bit of his entrée but, I just couldn’t… I sent my entrée back too. at that point I was feeling sick to my stomach. The only saving grace to the meal was the non-discript, probably from a bag, salads… And I ate my husband’s garlic bread. since they never brought the bread that was supposed to come my entrée. Our server tried. I’ll give him that. And the Restaurant Manger came over and asked if she could get me anything else. but. really? I couldn’t stomach anything at that point! No offer of a free dessert or anything. which I might have considered… But, when the check FINALLY came(seriously… you don’t make dissatisfied people sit and stew for 25 to 20 minutes, adding insult to injury!) they’d only voided my entrée… Not the Appetizer… I asked them to fix that. they did… we paid and couldn’t leave fast enough… Maybe the Pasta Bar they were having tonight would have been good… It smelled good… but, after watching the same 5 people stand there waiting for their food for 15 minutes, I’m guessing the wait would have pissed me off even IF the pasta was edible. soooo…

My first and last time to visit Rivers Edge Restaurant was on Valentine’s Day and we were very disappointed in the food and the service. They had a limited menu which our server told us was«to make it easier for the kitchen staff«. We hoped to have prime rib so we ordered the steak dinner instead. Three of us in our party ordered medium rare steaks and they ranged from medium well to very rare and all 3 steaks were full of gristle. For Valentine’s the menu was scaled down and the prices were bumped up higher than usual and the quality of the food was poor! Service was slow and cocktail service was absent. We each got one cocktail after a 20 minute Walt and then waited for dinner with empty glasses. Our server stood in one place and reached across the table to place the plates with her armpit in my face. Very unprofessional. We won’t go back. The prices were just too high to justify such a poor dining expeperience and poor quality food.

Slow service, cold food and unapologetic staff. Went here for lunch with four family members and the place was mostly empty. Tried to order the lunch special but they were out of it at 12:20. Placed our orders and 40 minutes later were told that they were also out of our new choices. Food later arrived cold. Staff never apologized or seemed to care. We will not be returning.

Seriously, if you don’t bring buckets of cash here your a piece of shit. Sorry, i came for the food it was fairly decent but i don’t want to spend all my hard earned money here on computerized games. Tweekers love this place so much they have a needle dispensers in the bathroom. Don’t come here thinking this is °native american° tradition because it is not. Thank you very much BRC,

A little pricey but tasty. Good breakfast. Brunch was just ok. Their options were minimal for such expensive pricing. Salmon was delicious.

I sat right at the bar last night and ordered a hamburger and salad. The people were very friendly, the meal came out quickly, and it was unique and satisfying. I ordered the burger medium-well, and it was cooked perfect, with just a slight touch of pinkish in the middle,(not bloody). It had a different but excellent taste, and as a burger expert, I rate this one right up there at the top, maybe even the best. The salad was fresh and crisp; also very good.
