Horrible customer service, burnt coffee that is very much not fresh, over priced for what it is. Only one lady in line in front of me and I was here for 15 minutes until someone even acknowledged that I was even there. Unfriendly staff, bagels were somewhat hard(definitely not fresh), couldn’t even drink the coffee it was terrible. STAYAWAY if you want a fresher, friendlier start to your day!!!

Wow, I ordered coffee. Black coffee. That’s it. I received with cream. I’m vegan. And irritated now. And can’t go back. You make coffee. Not jet fuel. All you have to do is pour it.

Do not go to this place if you want your order correct. All I ask for was a bagel with butter. It sucks to get home an you bite into a dry ass bagel. Do yourself a favor don’t go here.

Went to this Timmys today I Asked the server for a sleeve he walked away. Changed my mind about a donut and got more Attitude. Rudeness and bad attitudes are deal breakers. I’m done with this place.

Miserable would be the best way to to describe these«workers.» There were 5 females behind the counter. Four just stared at us. No hello, no can i help you, no thank you for coming. It was pretty much like us walking in and ordering was putting them off. I had 6 kids with me and she gives me 2 napkins. What am i supposed to do with 2 napkins and 6 kids? It’s not my fault you chose to work here. Sorry we walked in and made you actually do a job.

If you want 5 workers standing around and staring at you before they ask you if you need help, then this is the place to go! Awful service.

I stopped here today for some victory ice cream. I had previously gone to the Coldstone in Madison Heights. I asked Dante if the ice cream was fresh because the one in Madison heights the vanilla was freezer burnt and tasted stale. Dante said no it was good and it was the best ice cream. Well it is he gave the perfect ratio of cake to ice cream. Dante was so pleasant that I also got a ½ dozen of donuts and they were so fresh. I will be coming back here in the future. If you want a perfect cup of ice cream go there and ask for Dante.

Like others have mentioned, this location CONSISTENTLY messes up my order. I come here at least 2 times a week. They will forget hash browns that I order, put cream cheese on bagels when I wanted butter, or give me the incorrect coffee I ordered. On top of all that, employees will not read back my order or total AND will not give me a receipt. So even if I were to drive back to that location, I wouldn’t even have the receipt to show they what was incorrect. Dunkin Donuts will have my business moving forward.

Went here last night for a coffee after dinner. Lady running the drive thru was seriously the most miserable sounding person i’ve EVER talked to! Holy shit, do people forget they CHOOSE to work these jobs??? If you’re that fucking miserable, PLEASE find something else to do.

Tim Hortons used to be known for a speedy drive thru. After several experiences in this location I can declare it a slow moving drive thru. And the speaker is very muddled and you have to guess what the person is saying. Food is good. Coffee is good. Service is slow.

I go here every day before work. I order the same coffee every day. Now, Tim Horton’s as a rule, messes up my coffee about 25−30% of the time. I’m not exactly sure what’s hard about an extra large hazelnut coffee, double-double, but they’re usually disappointing me about a quarter of the time. This place is particularly strange because when I order, they don’t repeat my order and they don’t tell me my total most times. I just get«okay pull around». I should probably make them read my order back but that doesn’t ever seem to yield consistent results even. When the coffee is made right it’s really good. When they forget the hazelnut part it’s slightly disappointing but it’s more the principal that«you messed up a very simple order» and I just cannot forgive you. Ever. But I come back every day, so who’s the buffoon?

I’m a Tim Hortons enthusiast. I just love the stuff and usually never have problems. However I moved to Ferndale and my local Tim Hortons is the worst one I’ve ever been too. The staff is slow and constantly messes up orders and are not very friendly. It’s a bummer that the my local Tim Hortons is a hassle to go to and makes me not want to bother.

As a rule, I generally love Tim Horton’s. Their coffee is reasonably priced and usually fresh. Today, however, their drive thru pissed me off. When I asked if they had a coffee/bagel combo, she said yes, and it came with an additional side item for $ 4.50 or so(approximately). I told her I only wanted a coffee and a bagel. When I pulled around to the window, the price was almost exactly the same as the combo — I asked them to change it to the combo, and they said they couldn’t because of «drive thru time.» Apparently that is more important that customer service. I made sure to take my sweet time putting my change back into my wallet. F your drive thru time, Tim Hortons, if it comes at the expense of good customer service. Plus, my bagel wasn’t good. Lesson learned.

Breakfast sandwiches are great. Unfortunately, they are not as good when the drive through staff continually(purposely?) gets your order wrong. Friday 10÷10÷14 at approximately 8:30AM(God I hope a manager reads this) the woman who took my order, who seems to always be working when I go there, unfortunately, was extremely rude. She was like, on a warpath this morning. As I politely stated my order, she cut me off while I was asking for cream and sugar in my coffee. I asked, «um, can I get one cream and a sugar in my coffee?» she then said, «sure, SWEETIE.» I got to the window, now pretty much certain that my order would be wrong. I was handed a bag(which i did not check but I should have, because she threw a burnt hash brown UNWRAPPED in there — which I did not end up eating.) and a plain black coffee. I waited patiently in my car for someone to notice that I was still there. When the cashier finally opened the window two minutes later(as cars were accumulating behind me) I said«um — i asked for a coffee with a cream and sugar?» and a few minutes later i was handed another coffee. Which I should have checked again, but was ready to get the hell out of there so I didn’t. The coffee had at least 6 sugars in it. I will not go there again, because this has happened like 5 times since I’ve lived in Ferndale and that woman is pretty much a horrible person who purposely ruins your food.

Something always goes wrong. Today they are out of mugs. Really? Yesterday the coffee was 30 degrees colder than normal. There is wifi but it often disconnects. No napkins unless you ask for them. This place needs better management.

The only benefit to this Tim Horton’s versus the others in the area was the drive-thru Coldstone Creamery. If I wanted to go to a Coldstone, I’d go to a Coldstone. That being said, it’s a sh! tty move removing this from the drive-thru menu. If you’re worried about your service metrics, here’s a hint– it’s not the prep, it’s your staff.

I come here regularly to ‘get my carbs on’ and love the service/baked goods. My only complaint is that my bagel today had no cream cheese on it-literally, barely any cream cheese. I want a bagel added to my cream cheese. I want to instantly feel fatter because of the amount of cream cheese on my bagel. Or, at least be able to taste it when i eat it! I opened that thing up and did a double take. TIM, is that how you would eat YOUR bagel?

Worship at the holy font of Timmy’s is a prerequisite of Canadian citizenship, a right enshrined in our Constitution and immortalized in our national anthem. A native-born Canuck can sense the presence of a Tim Horton’s within a five kilometer radius with 95% accuracy, as numerous studies from the Canadian Institute for Cognitive Research have reaffirmed over the years. It is only natural, then, I should undertake my patriotic duty as a Canadian cultural ambassador for the Timmy consulates scattered throughout southeast Michigan. My credentials are impeccable: Canadian, long-time Timmy’s aficionado, endowed with certifications for Timbit Inspections and Toffee Coffee/Iced Cap Analysis. I have endured through strawberry jelly blossom catastrophes and specialty flavours that came and went. From a broad perspective, my expertise enables me to assess Tim Horton’s in the USA deprives our American neighbours and brethren of some of the better Timbit flavours(jelly-filled, sugar-dusted varieties, I’m looking squarely at YOU). Particular seasonal specialties appear in Windsor but never quite migrate by bridge or tunnel into another eager market, for reasons unclear. Woe, you have been deprived of something as essential to the Canadian experience as Canadian tire money and Heritage Minute commercials teaching us of our(sometimes less than) epic history. As for this particular bastion of Canadiana, Timmy’s has been paired recently with a Coldstone Creamery. I’m less than impressed by the development; I find the ice cream combinations to lead to decreased quality in the doughnut-coffee-café side. Ferndale’s Timmy’s supplies the usual array of doughnuts, Timbits, soups in bread bowls, and breakfast or sandwich options. So far the quality has been reasonable but not exceptional, as I haven’t had the chance to catch fresh from the oven products. Frustratingly, they are often sold out of my favourites like apple cider doughnuts, and don’t get regular replenishments. Drinks have been above average, satisfactorily freeze-slushy or hot and flavoured. Coffee connoisseurs, take note, Timmy’s brews far and away blows McDonald’s and Dunkin Donuts out of the water. Service is sometimes given with a smile, sometimes with a bemused look as I think the employee has been lost in the recent spate of gossip. Drive-thru service can be spotty at busy times(Saturday mornings in particular), though counter service is uniformly prompt and accurate. Not all the employees are radiant with the glory of serving in a temple of delicious coffee, now armed with fattening and gloriously rich ice creams prepared on a marble slab, more’s the pity. Of the local offerings, it has convenience on its side for me. Still, I see room for improvement with accuracy of orders and preparation of products through the drive-thru.
