The staff here are all absolutely amazing! The shop is clean and decorated beautifully, definitely a step above all other salons in the town of Fernley. I get my nails done by Christina, she is simply amazing! No matter how difficult the design is she is always pushing herself to do exactly what you are wanting rather than other salons who do what they want. She has done my nails for almost 3 years and I am never once disappointed. Unfortunately I’m moving so I will no longer be able to get my nails done, but every chance I get to visit I will be coming to get my nails done. You will regret not going to this salon, and then ask yourself why you didn’t go sooner!

Just the length I like and always listens to what I’m looking for. And I never never lose a gem and I’ve gone weeks workout needing a fill. Christina does amazing job. Super gentle and very knowledgeable. Love the ladies they are always so cheerful and attentive to customers needs. Super happy when I come here and love the environment. Oh and when I get my hair cut here too it is always what I want and super gentle on my head and they always reassure with questions back. Love the ladies that give u good conversation while ur getting cut and waxed. It’s never dull or s boring moment. The waxing experience is amazing and comfortable. I’ve gone to some that felt jerky and like I was an inconvience. They are not expensive, very reasonable for a perfect job everytime. Only salon I go to for ALLL my needs!

Worst experience in my life! Paid $ 25 for a wax on eye brows and lip. Half of one brow was removed, extra hair stragglers were not plucked on brows or lip. Poor, horrible job. My friends and family noticed it, very embarrassing. I called the owner she asked me to talk to Candice who did the job, she only called when I called to say she didn’t call. She did ask me to send pictures, I did, and only heard that she wants to see me. I just wanted a refund. After sending pictures, due to being out if town, I have not heard from owner or Candice. If there was a 0 that is what I would rate my experience! Would NEVER recommend!

A little over a month ago, I decided to trust this salon, seeing as it had great reviews on this website, and I had always heard good things about them. My experience with them was, to say the least, below par. I would imagine if I had been blessed with another stylist, my issue would never have occurred… However, even though the stylists mentioned here and other review sites are probably pretty great, it must be said that the customer experience service here was very poor, in my case. I wanted a certain type of perm and cut– I even brought a photo of exactly what I wanted it to look like. Loose curls, more heavily bodied at the top. Before I decided on this style, I had done countless hours of research as to how to do it myself at home, and I wish I had taken that path… One thing I learned was that it’s harmful to your hair if you wash it too soon before– just like they say you should do when dyeing. Another thing I noted that appeared on every hair styling website I went to, was the fact that with longer hair, you ALWAYS want to used different sized curlers at the top and bottom of your hair, otherwise it ends up looking like a mullet– yikes, if you’re a twenty-something girl! All that research aside, I am obviously no professional, so when I go to somebody who is paid to know what they are doing, I always trust their judgement above my own– I would think anybody would. This story has the potential to be VERY long, but I will shorten it as much as I am able for people seeking out a good perm(especially a loose one). When I showed the stylist my photo I had brought, she had told me bluntly she was unable to do the large sized curlers because she«couldn’t get them to work»… I should have taken that as a red flag, but unfortunately had not. She then went on to tell me the look that I was seeking out would still be obtainable with the medium curlers, it just wouldn’t be quite as loose as the photo. I told her I trusted her, and that she knew what she was doing, so go ahead, as long as my hair didn’t end up looking like a poodle or like an «old lady» perm(sorry! It’s the only way to describe it!). She assured me with would be as close to the photo as possible, and we went ahead with the perm. Firstly, she washed my hair before she went ahead with it, even though I had already washed it that morning. This is likely the reason my hair became so damaged. Second, she curled all of my hair in the same sized rollers, even though it’s pretty long– About shoulder length, maybe longer. And last, she went through TWO defective boxes of chemical before she somehow came up with another box, after much time of searching and whispering with the other staff. She said it was their last box, and I had gotten lucky… But I noticed it was a completely different brand than the previous two boxes, and that made me worry… After the process was over, while she was taking my curlers out and rinsing my hair, I could see it in her eyes that it hadn’t turned out as expected. Yes, maybe I was just nervous, but that’s what I saw! When she took me over to the mirror, I immediately got tears in my eyes. It was horrible! My hair was a frizzy mess, and only curly at the very top! The bottom of my hair wasn’t even a little bit curly… It looked NOTHING like the picture. It was certainly the worst perm I had ever seen, in my own opinion. And even though I was crying and shaking and told her I hated it, she didn’t offer me a discount, or to fix it or anything, she just argued with me about the photo I had brought. She told me it wasn’t a perm, even though I pulled it directly from a perm website, and that nobody else would be able to get that look with a perm either, even though at the beginning, she told me she could get the same look. She actually had the nerve to argue with me, and as I stood silent, trying not to bawl my eyes out, she said«Well, let me ring you up.» I went to both the stylist and the manager with this issue and was even kind enough to offer to still pay for the product she used, but get a refund on the service, and both of them blatantly refused to do anything about it. The manager seems to me to be a very kind and VERY professional lady, and I understand that the stylist in question is an independent contractor so she handles her own business, but it all boils down to the fact that when I had an issue with my salon, I was not helped in any way to right the situation. I paid almost a hundred dollars to have my hair fried and look awful for at least a month afterwards, and to later be insulted and argued with… It is obvious to say I had a very poor experience here, and I’m sure it doesn’t need to be said that I will NOT be coming back, nor will any of my friends or family.

Aubree is so Awesome. I wasn’t sure how I wanted my hair done for my wedding but I knew that I wanted something soft and feminine that could stand up to the wind. She did a fantastic job, even weaving tiny braids and incorporating my grandmother’s broach. She took my simple idea and gave me a style that I adored and it held up all night long.

Aubrey is the best. Always happy, knows what she is doing, and pay attention to my hair, not the people around her. A perfectionist! Love her, been seeing her for 8 years. I don’t know what I would do if I moved! :D
