Fast friendly environment. Foods always been good. Love the Mongolian beef. delivery isn’t the greatest both times I tired to get food delivered it took a long time and my food was cold. Recommend carry out.

Ok for lack of better choices.. we had our lunch here. Which was ok. Not enough going on here for me to be like«oh wow!!!» I kinda regret choosing the spot. But hey, can’t win them all. Alright so we walk inside, nothing spectacular but I wouldn’t expect much. Only 2 other tables were sat, the server/host was awesome and very friendly. Checked up on us, we received waters and tea asap and he immediately took our order after he offered us his help for my car(he saw us outside messing with fuses) but ultimately said he couldn’t help with that job in particular. So the menu has typical American Chinese foods available. paper wrapped chicken, egg rolls, poo platter etc. We started off with fried shrimp and crispy noodles. Blagh. The shrimp were very tiny and way over cooked and had a sh**t load of batter to cover up the missing shrimp lol. They were full of grease and tasted like it too. The crispy noodles were, well… pan fried egg noodles. That’s it. Flavorless and chewy and Sometimes crispy. But whatever… no biggie. Then… shows up the Wor Wonton! Ok the best part about this visit is the soup. It’s not like amazing or anything but it’s good. The broth is yummy and this he veggies were fresh. The dumplings were ok, and the pork was delicious, but I only got 2 small pieces. I can’t say much for this chicken which were spongy and the shrimp which were like tiny hockey pucks. I didn’t finish any of the food. The bill came to 22 with tax. I left 26 and got out of there. I will say our fortunes were cool! Haha.

One of my favorite Chinese foods in Fernley! I love their orange chicken and they have this cool thing you can order for about $ 15 and it’s a flame it’s so cute! The people are friendly. Pretty fast service I would definitely recommend to eat here!

I LIKE the food here a lot, EVERYTHING was so tasty Since we moved here, we’ve eaten here at least five times, and it NEVER disappoints. And the prices are so REASONABLE! For two people it amounted to $ 12. In California, the same meal would have been around $ 25 – 30! And we’re treated very nice here and the owners are VERY professional!

Good food, friendly service and value. Only bad experience is they didn’t service Coke. I would recommend it!

My favorite restaurant in Fernley! Always excellent, we eat here at least once per week and have for years. The staff are always pleasant, welcoming and attentive. This is a comfortable and casual place with reasonable prices.

This restaurant has maintained a good quality of food. I have been going here since i was a wee girl. The décor and atmosphere needs improving but overall good service and food

I used too love coming to this restaurant but not anymore the workers there constantly watch over you and make you feel uncomfortable almost like if you were stealing although you paid for your food

This place has been consistently good for years. I’ve heard people say bad things about it, but I’ve never once experienced anything but good food. Our family has had food at the restaurant, and take-out probably 50 times in the past 15 years. I have eaten Chinese food in many, many, many places, and this is still my favorite. The Crispy Szechuan Beef is by far the best. Lemon chicken is great, General’s chicken too. You honestly have to try them all. If you have had a bad experience, I would recommend giving it another chance, because they know how to do it right.

Everytime I eat at China chef is satisfactory or better. I usually dine-in. The food is quickly prepared and the service is impeccable. They fill the drinks before I have a chance to finish them, and always make sure I have anything I need for a great meal. I don’t go often, but some employees have my order memorized.(Which I love.) Anytime I call ahead for pick up, they are super quick with the entire process. From ordering to pick-up times. I really enjoy the restaurant. It’s the only chinese place in town I’ll eat.

Just picked up dinner tonight. It took 20 minutes longer than I was told. The place was understaffed and all the tables were dirty. When I got home I found out that my cashew chicken had no chicken in it. Will not be returning.

I just stopped by for Chicken Chow Mein and Prawns. It is Cantonese style noodles which I like and not loaded with celery or cabbage. You would find the same in SF or Oakland. Good Food. Prices reasonable. I’ll go back and try other items.

After trying the other two Chinese restaurants in town, my family and I decided to try China Chef. When visiting a Chinese restaurant, we generally stick to the same dishes: Mongolian beef and pork fried rice. The food was inedible. I don’t know what was going on with the ingredients and sauce on the Mongolian beef, but the smell was bad and it tasted terrible.

4 Stars when they have the fresh asparagus. The food is good middle of the road chinese food, and for the area, is the only game in town. One of my favorite dishes is the cherry chicken, and we did once get a good pu pu platter. ***We used to frequent this plave, but I haven’t been there in more than 2 years. Ownership changed and the quality went downhill quite quickly, and I doubt we’ll go back.
