The employees are super friendly! Love coming here when I feel like coughing up $$ for some coffee.

So people hate Starbucks, I only dislike the bad ones. This one is great. Good location with plenty of parking, and located next to the BK Whopper chain. I have actually been stopping by here for awhile as I drive through NV, and appears the original checkin option disappeared. Staff here is always friendly with a great smile and warm greeting. Maybe it’s because I’m always on the early side of the day. Have never had a bad order yet. Always right and made quickly. Items in the food section are always plentiful, but like I said, I’m an early bird. There is outdoor seating to use if the temp and weather is right, I highly suggest taking advantage of it in the morning. It’s rather nice as the sun comes up.

Been here twice First time I was there and the staff was slow, rude and the conversation they had was very inappropriate for the work place. Second time I tried going to the drive thru hoping I would get better service and it would be faster but boy was I wrong. There were two cars in front of me and it took 15 minutes to finally get my order. Corporate needs to step in !!!

This location is always soo slow. Whether they have 1 car in the line or 6 cars ahead, I always budget about 20 extra minutes, and use all 20, to get coffee. They constantly mess up my drink and tell me they’re making it correctly when every Starbucks I’ve ever been to has gotten it right without question. It’s always a complicated process, but it’s all we have within the area. Just pal on waiting longer than your average Starbucks.

Not too impressed with this starbucks location. They messed up our order and acted annoyed that they had messed it up. Customer service was not good. Drinks were OK and sandwiches were a bit dried out :(probably wouldnt stop here again.

I live here in Fernley, and I am sorely disappointed continually with this starbucks location. Multiple times I have ordered beverages that are specific due to health reasons, and not only have I received a negative attitude due to my order, but once I receive it is incorrect. This has happened 4 times since this past Friday. I requested warm water for my baby, and I received water so scolding hot, that it was layered with three cups and so full that if you moved it the slightest bit, it would seep out. And yes, I got burned. It wouldnt have been as big of a deal if the women handing it to us said” You just have a wonderful day!” while slamming the drive thru window. Our entire order was taken by her, while she was purposely rude while we kept nice since we just wanted our order! How Starbucks could hire or tolerate this type of employee attitude baffles me. Aren’t they in the customer service business? And the women that was blatently rude and unprofessional at the drive thru seemed to have deliberately given me something that could’ve hurt me and/or my baby??? There are to many circumstances where I have been let down by stale pastries, incorrect drink orders, or just making a poor quality drink that has completely ruined ever returning and has forced me to spread the word. I have been in the restaurant business for years, so at times I expect things won’t be perfect, but I do expect to be treated with decency and respect, as I am the customer who helps pay for your paycheck. Treat others as you wish to be treated on all levels. Period. Not all people or items I have received at this location has been bad, but definitely have had more negative experiences than positive. :(Sucks, because I do enjoy Starbucks in general. Won’t be returning.

I have tried this Starbucks numerous times over the past several years and yet the overbearing burned taste of their coffee never seems to get better. It is quite awful. Additionally, the store is usually not as clean as it could be. During today’s visit one of the barista’s aprons was covered in stains. It looked like she was wearing it when she butchered a pig. In all, I have never been satisfied with the lack of cleanliness of the Fernley store, the lack of warmth of its emlployees, nor the bitter, burned taste of their coffee. I recommend the Dayton Starbucks over the Fernley one any day. It’s amazing how they’re both Starbucks but the Dayton coffee is actually palatable.

Every time(for the last year or so) I come here they over charge me, get my drink wrong, and or plain out rude. This is the last time. I rather drive 40 + miles for better service.

This is the worst Starbucks. Whoever does the ordering for this location needs a new job or some very intensive training in food ordering. More often than not, when I order food, they do not have it and likely have no other food. I have lived in this town for a year and a half and over that time period, this has consistently been the case. I complained to Starbucks corporate, and they gave me a $ 15 gift card and said they would look into it. Three weeks later, I tried again. Again, they didn’t have the food item I ordered. I followed up on my complaint with corporate. Nothing. For the most part, I stopped going there, but stop by occasionally, to find the same disappointing results. Just tried again last week. Same. «Sorry, we are out of that today. No, we don’t have any sandwiches at all right now.» I can guarantee that if I went to the MacDonalds across the street, they would have the sandwich I ordered. I don’t think I have EVER been to any other chain restaurant and been repeatedly turned away because they didn’t have a regular menu item. It is a pity that the only other coffee stand, which was locally owned, has closed.

Worst starbucks ever! I was talked down upon and scolded in front of customers by a manager named Emily. She was a rude ass bitch. Proves to me that the employees and«managers» need some help. Even my drink looked horrible and tasted off. About 2 inches of pure water on the botom of my. Drink. Like really? Go ahead and go 30 miles up to reno or Fallon. Fernley is a disappointment.

I have only stopped here for a caffeine fix on my way back to Reno from Fernley, but like it enough to drive out of my way to get on the freeway from the«East Fernley» interchange. They do a good job and serve the regular Starbucks products in a friendly and efficient manner. It is usually pretty busy as it really is the only game in town. The last time I was here I had a free reward coupon and as the outside temperature was approaching 100 degrees, I decided to go with an iced tea rather than my usual hot coffee drink. When I told the lady that I had a coupon she said, Since it is free, I will get you the biggest one”. That was really nice as I was going to order a small one. Besides, how can you possibly pass up on a coffee shop that is on Penny Lane — here beneath the blue suburban skies?

I love my Starbucks. They rock. They are funny, helpful, fast, clean, courteous, friendly and generous. I used to go here daily, when I didn’t have wifi at home. Everybody who come through the door seems to be coming home. Large groups of friends gather daily on the couches and chairs. The bathroom is clean, floor is clean, tables are clean and any issues are dealt with swiftly.

Came in and let them know that my coffee yesterday that a friend got me was NASTY and it’s typed in her phone to specifics. So Trevor bought me my drink tonight. What a guy. They have a lot of new employees who are nice as can be but are young and are not as easily trained it seems although they are trying VERY hard! So great effort and Trevor deserves employee of the year, when he sees me coming he gets my drink ready every time as I’m in line or paying so I don’t have to wait. In my opinion that’s how a loyal customer SHOULD be treated!!!

Never a bad cup of coffee here with a friendly staff and fast service. Sometimes the snacks and food seems low, but people are hungry. What can you do.

After nearly 1000 miles of driving, I badly needed some caffeine. Luckily, I spotted a Starbucks logo on the highway signs and took the next exit. Finding the actual Sbux was a little tricky since there were no off ramp signs directing me to the café(there are usually signs that tell you whether to turn left or right from the off ramp). However, after wandering for a little bit around the business loop, I finally found it. First off, my iced coffee was a little bitter. This might be a turn off for some, but I love the bitter taste of coffee. Second, these baristas were the most friendly Sbux employees I have EVER encountered! Great drink and great service – what’s not to like?

I think the drive thru guy needs a shot of coffee! I had to tell him twice on everything I ordered which was 2 Kimodo brews Tall!!! Had to ask for sugar, cream — oh they don’t have cream to go unless you put it in the coffee? Really a strange experience.. . I agree Java B — not the most efficient people. And they seem snotty, snippy, etc., but I don’t say too much because have you guys seen the website«I hate Starbucks.com»? OMG!!!

If you’re eastbound on I-80, this is your last Starbucks until Elko. The location is in a busy, newer retail area of Fernley. The Starbucks is in a new strip center just off of Penny Lane. The exterior looks like a cross between a Spanish hacienda and a Mayan temple. Friendly staff, nothing extraordinary. Caffeine up here and get on the road.
