Go next door to McDonalds !! The Burgers were not cooked properly, as well as one was burned. The french fries had a super delicious shrimp taste to them, as well as other items captured in the deep fryer that ended up on my plate… How about NO condiments on the table, had to ask for salt, REALLY ?? All at the BARGAIN price of over $ 10 per cover… Stop watching Food Network and get YOURFUNDAMENTALSDOWN… Good news, there will be a really nice restaurant building coming vacant shortly !!!

Who doesn’t answer their phone for take out orders but yet makes you leave a message(which may not get heard for however long) or post a message on Facebook. HU? No. If you can’t take 2 minutes to answer my call so I’m assured my order has been received, you don’t get my business. I’m not going to «leave a message» somewhere, wait 20 minutes and then show up and not have any food ready. Besides, based on other reviews… we aren’t missing much anyway. Fernley absolutely sucks for any decent food. Drive to Reno, it’s worth the extra time and gas.

This place was VERY disappointing. We tried twice and left both times. First time we gave them a chance because they didn’t have the oven going. The second time we got the good, after an hour and a half, it was gross. They definitely charge too much for the food quality which was aweful. We won’t go back. I don’t expect they will be open in Fernley long. The parking lot is always empty.

It gets 3 stars for good food and their two hard working wait staff. Honestly, the service sucked. The two ladies were running the entire floor. No hostess, not able to take cards and our waters and food took forever to get to us. It was obvious that 2 more servers were necessary. The two were hustling, but overwhelmed. The burgers and brussel sprouts were great. Hire more staff and you will probably increase your review scores.

So the Tahoe Brewing Co. Service was slow until I showed my coupon for a free beer on Unilocal. We ordered two burgers both where over salted and hard to eat. The manager came over to offer us something else, I tried the wings my wife went for another burger. The burger was still too salty, the wings where cooked well but the sauces seemed like they were trying to hard for something different, either too hot too smoky or too peppery stop trying to be so gourmet and be a bar and grill. PS. I went to the restroom, saw the floor was filthy I told the waitress went back 30 minutes later and know one had attended to it even though the cooks and wait staff were hanging out at the bar station.

Once again… We’re tired after a long days work and decided to give them another try… They were busy, but the two waitresses didn’t greet us and wanted to seat us at a small … Very small table when three large tables were open. Stating they are reserved. I said but we’re here now any other place to sit… They said sorry. So we left. As we were leaving another couple behind us told us the tables have sat empty for over the past 30 mins… Hum. Well I guess we’re not their type of customer. We won’t go back.

One of my favorite places to come when I go to Fernley. The staff is very friendly and the food is always very tasty. I enjoy coming here with friends. They have a good lunch special menu. It’s nice to have a different type of place to eat in Fernley.

This review isn’t based on service, food or drink… because I didn’t eat here. I went there tonight at 7pm and they told me the kitchen is already closed. Seriously?

I wonder if the people saying their brisket is awesome, have ever had real brisket? For me theirs is way too dry. I think brisket is probably kind of a tough thing to serve, which if you serve it properly(IMO) there will probably be people complaining that it’s too greasy, and if you serve it they way they do, people(like myself) will complain that it’s too dry. So maybe it’s just a can’t please everyone type of thing, and they’ve erred on the side of caution. But I smoke briskets regularly and if mine came out like theirs, I would consider it a mistake and I had overcooked it. Last time I was there they had at least two things(I think both apps, I know one was the fried mushrooms) that were stamped as out of stock. Which is kind of weird, but whatever. How do you semi-permanently run out of mushrooms that come out of a freezer bag? The mushrooms were good, even though they were obviously frozen and bought in. But I would say their burgers and fries are excellent. Tough to beat for the price, anywhere, and definitely not beatable in Fernley. If you’re not appreciative of their bacon cheeseburger and fries, you’re probably way too picky; they’re very good. In Fernley you can have a garbage burger from McDick’s for 6 dollars, or a super mediocre burger from Denny’s for 9 dollars, or a kickass burger from Lake Tahoe for 10 or 11 dollars. Pretty clear which is the best choice. BLT is also excellent. Tons of thick bacon. You can’t beat that. I think their pulled pork is also good, better than the brisket if you’re wanting to order something that has been barbecued. Haven’t had their ribs, it’s next on my list. Fried pickles are good but pretty salty. Mac and cheese is decent but nothing awesome. Needs a little work to be really good, but I’ve had problems nailed that down when making it myself. But I still think mine is better than theirs. Not so sure about their pizza and pasta. At this point I’d avoid it without further info. My GF had one of their pizzas right after they opened and it was kind of a weird soggy mess, but maybe they hadn’t figured out the oven. And I had a pasta lunch a while later and it was definitely pretty uninspired. It was certainly edible, but I wouldn’t go so far as to say it was good.

My husband, myself, and our two year old went for dinner about 6pm on Saturday night. There were about 6 people at the bar and about 8 tables that were full. We were seated immediately and then waited over 5 minutes before someone came to take our drink order. The server did apologize and explain that they just changed sections and that she was not immediately informed. We ordered our drinks and our appetizer, fried pickles. Once we ordered it took about 20 minutes to get our food, but we were also working on the pickles, which were very good, and it did not seem like a wait. While we were waiting for our entrees to come my husband asked the server about the Wi-Fi and what the password was because he was able to find Wi-Fi that said«Lake Tahoe Guest». The server informed him that they were not allowed to give that password out because if people used it to post to «Yelp» it would not be counted. So, I cannot use the internet to keep my 2 year old occupied while we wait for our food. I had the ribs and they were okay, I did not like the coleslaw that came with it, it had way too many poppy seeds. I ordered a side of mac and cheese and it was just okay, I don’t think that it was worth the extra $ 2 that was charged. My ribs only came with coleslaw and if I wanted an extra side they charge $ 2. Most establishments offer 2 sides with their meal. The ribs were okay, I got 4 bones and they were very flavorful. My husband had a burger and fries and he said it was just okay. My daughter had grapes and chicken fingers, she ate them, and so they must have been good. Our server was very good; she was pleasant, friendly, and on top of her job. Our drinks were refilled and we received extra napkins and brought us to go boxes. My daughter and I used the bathroom while we were there and it was clean and stocked. My husband used the bathroom and was in the middle of doing that when the hostess(who was female) opened the door and asked if anyone was in there. My husband said«yes» and she left. When my husband exited the restroom she(the hostess) was standing outside of the door and asked my husband if anyone else was in there, he said«no» and returned to the table. My husband suggested that a male check on the men’s restroom and that a female check on the women’s restroom. He was very uncomfortable about that. I know it may not bother some people, but he was very uncomfortable. Overall our experience was just Okay, nothing fantastic, and nothing horrible. We would probably return, but more for happy hour or Sunday football.

We tried it for the first time Dec 8th, 2015. Tuesdays kids eat free with adult entrée. One kids meal per adult meal. I would recommend the fried mushrooms and the mac n cheese. The fried mushrooms were crispy and flavorful. Paired it with ranch for dipping and it was perfect. The mac n cheese was AMAZING!!! I would go back just for the mac n cheese! Tastes just like my grandma made it. The brisket I thought would have more flavor. Not a fan of pork but the pulled pork was tender without being too dried out. My daughter had the kids pizza and my son had the mac n cheese with grapes. The kids pizza looked and smelled gross to me but I did not try it. My daughter said it tasted weird and only ate about half of it. We got smores for dessert. Not enough chocolate and graham crackers or I could say just too many marshmallows. BUT there was enough for all 4 of us to have one. THEBAD– the wings SUCKED! I have to say it is some of the worst wings I have had in my life! I love wings. I make them at home and have them at least once a month outside the house. They were hard. Not hard like being fried but hard like they set under a heating lamp all day long waiting for someone to order them(do not think they use heating lamps just giving an example) Flavorless. Dry. And just all around bad. Can not say anything positive about them. The size of the wings were a basic size wing nothing special. NOMILITARYDISCOUNTWASGIVEN Prices are a little high. I would knock a $ 1.00 off each item and NOT charge more for switching a side out. 90% of the people I know hate coleslaw and that is one of the main sides so if you switch it out for fries or something else it will cost you another $ 2.00. UPDATE– they do 10% military discount according to an employee that has contacted me after seeing my review.

we decided to try this place Wednesday before Thanksgiving, big mistake we both were sick later that evening and into Thanksgiving. First thing I noticed, several tables were not wiped down, no TV’s were on, place was empty, food was beyond greasy and service was okay, nothing to brag about. It really looks as if the place was not meant to be open that evening. We will not be returning…

I am glad to have a place like this in Fernley and the potential for a nice joint to hang out and drink good beer is exciting. We went there when they first opened and had high hopes since we had been to the Tahoe brewery/restaurant. However, they obviously had«growing» pains, slow waitress, no pizza(they were waiting for a city permit?), and not the nicest ambiance. On our second visit, a number of months later, I noticed that the pizza ovens are going and they had a pretty good crowd for a Wednesday night. I also noticed on their beer menu that certain types of beer would be paired with the«right» glasses, however all our beer came in the same glass(a very strange glass/mason jar thing). We had the pizza after the bartender came over to take our order. It was good pizza, nothing too exciting but I would eat it again… The only issue I had with the place is that on Wednesday(when we were there) they had some kind of trivia contest going? It was loud and very disturbing and evidently they have karaōke on Fridays? According to a poster on the wall they were also going to have midget wrestling? Really? Some unsolicited advice? Lets concentrate on the beer, the service and good simple food. I am afraid that this place will be more Chuck e Cheese than Silver Peak…

Someone finally took over the old Bully’s building woohoo! That’s where my excitement ends, I’ve heard such good things about the LTBC that this location seemed to be a bit of a let down. Service was friendly and efficient. The place wasn’t at all busy for a Sunday evening when people should be hanging out drinking beers and watching football. I tried 3 of their beers, nothing really jumped out at me as being something I’d have at the top of my list to order on my next visit. The server bragged about the smoked meats and wood fired oven so we decided on one of each. I ordered a 2 part combo which was choice of 2 meats served with a side of coleslaw. I chose the pulled pork and beef brisket. The pulled pork had a lot of smoky flavor and was moist due to swimming in a fair amount of pork grease. The smoke was heavy enough for me to chase each bite with some slaw. The brisket was on the dry side and not all that tender. It did get moist once the pork fat made it’s way across the plate. The smoke flavor was balanced, if they could just get the moist/tenderness right, this would be a winner. The wife ordered a mushroom pizza, she did seem to enjoy that. As for my final note on this place, I have to say I’m very disappointed in the way they decided to setup their Unilocal check-in offer. You have to write a review and let the waitress read it before they will grant the check-in offer. Nothing worse than being asked to detach yourself from family and good conversation to write a review in order to get your comp. Almost feels like we’re getting paid to write a review at that point…

I Went in for dinner on a Friday night, even though it was packed we were seated fairly quickly. Food was great and the service was better than I expected. I had previously read negative reviews regarding service here which is why it took me a while to check this place out. But I’m glad I decided to dine here. Great food and service. Will definitely will be returning.

The only reason I didn’t give a 1 star is because Rich the bartender is awesome. While being out of most beers most of the time we had a terrible experience last Friday night. Went in late night; 9:30ish for some reverse happy hour and was told by a bartender(won’t mention her name) that the manager said reverse happy hour on food was canceled and would have to order from the reg menu(after my first three beer choices were not available and that we couldn’t have the beer we had to settle for in a regular glass even though«they are the same size» and that if she did it for us she’d have to do it for everyone…) so being hungry we ordered a pizza off of the reg menu. 5 mins later another bartender showed up and told me he had no idea what she was talking about and the reverse happy hour was in full swing. Make of that what you will, either a serious break down in staff communication or just a blatant lie to up the check total. Either way I’m going to need to hear about some serious changes to return. Which sucks because this place could be great. If you decide to go and are sitting at the bar, pray you get Rich. One love

Holy smokes Fernley! Finally, a place I can get a great beer, tasty food and excellent service!(Thank you, Hillary.) We were picking up some groceries and thought that we would pop in for happy hour. What a great decision. You can share the appetizer pulled pork nachos(not a dry chip in the bowl). Thank you Tahoe Brewing for making my trips to Fernley a whole lot tastier.

I am happy to have another dining choice in Fernley. I stopped in for lunch and since I needed to return for work so just tried the food. I would like to come back and give their beer a try. The staff were friendly. I was given a choice of sitting at the bar or at a table. I decided on the bar as I thought it might be a bit faster. It wasn’t. I ordered the hamburger, though the wood oven pizza looked like a good choice if I had been with here a group. I was a little surprised that sides don’t come with the sandwiches — fries, slaw, potato salad and beans and all extra. I ordered fries. The food was excellent with is what makes me bump the rating up to four stars. It took a long time to get to me, but was hot and fresh so it was not just sitting under the headlamp all neglected. The burger was huge and was perfectly cooked — hot and just pink on the inside. Just the way I like it. The Mozzarella cheese and balsamic reduction with tomato and lettuce, grilled onions and some mystery sauce on the brioche bun was a great taste combination. I Ate way more than I should have. The fries were great and worth the $ 2 extra. Service was a bit slow, She took my order tight away and brought me my drink, but the burger took forever. She indicated there were problems in the kitchen. OK. There was also some delay in getting my check paid. The space is pretty much a sports bar/brew pub/Friday afternoon afterwork gathering place. It seems a bit open and industrial. but the wood oven and the barn wood siding and huge bar are all nice touches. Overall, this is a really nice addition to the food options in Fernley. Pretty laid-back with solid food. I will probably make a return visit.

— Right off the 80 freeway. — Free wifi — Good service — Healthy, non-greasy tasting — S’mores Don’t have much time about to eat s’mores but it’s a great place to stop off the 80 west from Idaho to Northern California. You can stop here and break up the 600 mile drive. Amazing food, good service great vibes and a band is on today.

So, I saw this restaurant on my way to my hotel tonight and thought I would give it a try. I was seated almost immediately, which was great. However, I sat at my table for at least 5 minutes without being so much as greeted. From the name, I was thinking steaks and seafood. Not so much. It is a very«unique» menu with many very odd things to choose from. I ended up thinking that I would get the Brewery Burger but when I asked about it, my server told me that it was very tasteless. So, I went with the Espresso burger. The burger does not come with fries like most places. It was an additional $ 2 for a side… by my server’s recommendation, I went with potato salad(bland and tasteless). The burger itself was actually pretty good. However, it simply was not what I was hoping for when I walked in the door. I was less than impressed by the service in this restaurant. From waiting for at least 5 minutes to be greeted, to then after my food was delivered, I did not get a checkback from my server for at least another 5 minutes as my burger started to get cold and I waited to ask for mayonaise for my burger. That was a bummer. Then when she gave me the check, I immediately pulled out my American Express to pay and then proceeded to wait another 5 minutes or so before she picked up my bill to process it only to come back to tell me that they do not take American Express. Are you serious? All in all, I would not recommend this place. Hopefully they will make some adjustments to their food offerings and their servers will be a bit more speedy once they get used to things.
