Note-​this is a review from the first time we ordered from here, read the update! Omigoooood GREAT pizza, EXCELLENT customer service (unlike anywhere in the glenmont area) they WILL deliver to glenmont, we ordered a chicken tomato bacon ranch pizza that was outstanding along with their homemade blue cheese dressing on the side (the person who took my order was SO pleasant and informed me their blue cheese was to die for and she did not disappoint) we also ordered fried ravioli which was super good and hot and THE best garlic knots I have ever had. MUST MUST MUST try, wish I could give them 10 stars after being thoroughly disappointed with the pizza options in the glenmont area. Go Mauros!
Update: ordered a second time after we were told Romos delivery would take an hour to an hour and a half, got a buffalo chicken pizza (not good, LOOKS gourmet, tastes worse than basic cafeteria food) a piece of cheese pizza (equally as gross, honestly frozen pizza is better) a turkey panini, not bad but not good, definitely needed something AND they forgot the garlic knots (which were great last time). The delivery took an hour after we were quoted 45 min, (not a big deal until I realized they forgot garlic knots) and when I called to tell them a crotchety old lady kept repeating «no, Nope, no you did NOT order any garlic knots» and annoyingly proceeded to slowly yammer on reciting my order so I hung up.

Excellent specialty pizzas! Good wings, although the HOT is fairly tame. We will be back.

Wow — what an awesome family owned business! My boyfriend and I decided to stop by one night with our puppy after driving by and seeing that the old Persico’s was now open again under new owners and a new name. I got moosetracks (My favorite) in a cone which was absolutely delicious! My boyfriend got a flavorburst which he said tasted great and he was also super happy with the size (he’s very picky about that). My puppy got the Doggie Special which was the cutest thing I’ve ever seen! It was vanilla ice cream in a dish with a bone to top it off :) He devoured it. We were beyond impressed with the customer service we received there. It’s nice to see that there are still family owned businesses like Mauro’s Menu that pay such attention to cleanliness, quality, and above all — true customer service!

This is a brand new spot right on the town line between New Scotland and Bethlehem. So new it hasn’t even fully opened yet. It boasts ice cream, pizza and a deli but thus far only the ice cream stand is open. We haphazardly stumbled upon this it as we were looking for green pastures for our pup. It honestly isn’t near anything but it turns out to be a 5 – 10 min drive from Delmar.
The ice cream stand is open just in time for summer and guess what?- They offer flavor burst! Honestly, I’ve never tried «flavor burst» (maybe I haven’t lived?) but I was discussing it with co-​workers and they were saying it’s the soft serve version of «the best thing since sliced bread.»
I had the moose tracks hard ice cream on a sugar cone, my other ½ had the soft serve (plot twist) and it was all under $ 5 – 6. I thoroughly enjoyed the creamy fudge on my moose tracks while sitting on their ample patio. They had plenty of picnic tables– perfect for a bright sunny Sunday. My husband said he really enjoyed the soft serve (and he’s no stranger since that’s what he gets almost every time we get ice cream).
Glad to have this option within 10 min of Delmar despite the fact that it’s pretty much in the middle of nowhere. Don’t mean to be loose with my stars but I’m rating them in my ice cream experience and I’m also a fan of their hours. Look forward to see how their food pans out.
