Hinshaw’s has a terrific selection of great cars and they’re a joy to work with.
We especially enjoyed working with Sunny Singh. He’s very friendly and helpful, also extremely knowledgeable about the features and models of the vehicles.

A year after I bought the car I received a gift certificate from Hinshaw’s for any service or part. Didn’t see much use for it since I bought a Subaru used from them but I have been happy with the service I have gotten from them in the past over certain «stress free» dealerships.
Scheduled an interior detail with George in service. He was super helpful in fixing a problem I had with the billing. There was a miscommunication on the work to be done and he didn’t even ask questions or argue, just fixed it and got me a new invoice. Very happy with the help I got and the car looks fantastic after the detail!
Highly recommend the service department, and my salesman Andrew recognized me and came over to say hi and catch up which was nice too.

Hinshaws cares about the community and supports their customers. stars for a company that goes out of their way to show this support. Giving back to the community when in the position to do so, is priceless. Thank you Hinshaw’s! #findaubreymoss

Service Department Review
Over the years we have purchased three Acura’s at Hinshaws, all maintained by Hinshaw’s Service Department. We can always count on courteous, prompt, expert service. Service Manager Kelly is fantastic. Customer satisfaction is his top priority. I wouldn’t consider taking my Acura anywhere else!

If it were in way possible I would give them a Negative 3 star review.
It was December 10^th 2014 and I was looking to get myself something nice for myself and my wife, seeing as I JUST CAME BACK FROM AFGHANISTAN I figured I DESERVE to treat myself and my wife to a bit of luxury. I figured these people would be nice, and helpful. But I will tell you what, they do help, they help themselves into your wallet and your bank account and even STEAL some more.
I was happy the first time I went in there, I was happy when I went back in to get my windows tinted and all that jazz. Oh by the way, when it came to that they gave me a LOANER car that had some kind of death in it because I (who is not allergic to a darn thing) Was sneezing my face off, and I let them know that this vehicle was substandard, also they had just about enough gas in the vehicle to get me to the nearest gas station (which was not even half a block away) I mean c’mon people I got a luxury $ 50,000+ Car why would you do this to me?
Anyways, When I called to return the vehicle and got a quote it was WELL below what I paid, they quoted me for $ 10,000 less than I paid, and when I asked about the extended warranties and protection packages that they SWORE up and down and GUARENTEED that would hold value, they said, AND I QUOTE «No Mr. D, that does not hold value» I said but you swore and guaranteed it would, that’s why I got it, «No Mr. D, I did not say that, are you calling me a liar?» No I am not calling you a liar, but you told my it will hold value and now you tell me it does not hold value, that’s not really telling the truth. «I am going to hang up on you Mr. D.» Wait, why are you… Beep” that was how my conversation went before the LAST time I went in.
Anyways, when it came to the LAST time I went in there (which was to try return the MONEY TRAP) they acted like I didn’t exist, I waited there for like 30 almost 45 minutes. And They were very rude, Except for Young PAK, he was scared, because I know HE KNEW he was wrong, I saw DERRICK MARTIN, and I asked him if I could record the conversation and he declined, he said he was «uncomfortable» and I know exactly why.
I wish I had secretly recorded him because what I will tell you next BLEW MY MIND!
when I talked to him about getting rid of this (legally) he said, AND I QUOTE, «well, to be honest, and off the record, there is only one way you can get out of this vehicle and not pay a dime. Naturally I was curious and I said «well, do tell» and he said (as he is shifting his eyes) you could get it stolen and report it stolen and as long as its not found the GAP insurance (it covers 100% of your vehicle in the event of theft and/​or total damage occurs as long as you are not at fault) will cover whatever you finance, OR you could even total it and as long as you are not at-​fault it will be covered.
I WAS FLABBERGASTED!!! IS THIS THE ILLEGAL ADVICE I GET FROM A FINANCING PROFESSIONAL FOR THIS DEALERSHIP???
OH BY THE WAY, I was sent a link online to do an online survey (THAT I DID NOT DO) on how KEITH YOUNG PAKs sale performance was and his customer service and all that jazz, Well when I decided to do the survey (after i received the negative and horrible customer service on the phone and was hung up on) it said it was ALREADY DONE… funny I didn’t do it, my wife didn’t do it, our CAT didn’t do it either, you know what that leads me to believe? HE DID IT HIMSELF, ON HIMSELF and FOR HIMSELF. Why, you ask? Don’t worry I will tell you, THEY GET A BONUS IF THEIR PERFORMANCE WAS GOOD. Not just a commission, a BONUS. That goes straight to the manufacturer if my memory serves me right.
So I tell you this, If you want an Acura, go to Acura of Seattle, or Bellevue, heck I would even recommend driving to Portland because I feel they will give you a better experience than my wife and I had to deal with, when dealing with Hinshaw Acura in Fife.
I got literally no help, and no decent customer service from this place that I would NEVER recommend for both my military friends and family, as well as my professional clients as I do have 2 businesses While being in the military.
SO now I have to waste my time dealing with the Better Business Bureau AND the State Attorney General, not to mention I am going to TRY to get connected to the MANUFACTURER to see why this ONE place wants to mess it up for the rest of the company.

After a terrible terrible experience at Acura of Lynnwood (See my review for them on Google Reviews and Unilocal), my husband and I were ready to call it quits for the day. As we were planning to head back home (to Oregon), we saw that Hinshaw’s Acura had an ’07 Highlander. «Do we really want to try another Acura dealership after today?» we asked ourselves. We were hesitant, but hey, why not one last shot? I’m so glad we did. We pulled up and were immediately greeted by Anmol (pronounced «Ann-​Mall»). This guy is the best car salesman ever, from a customer perspective. He’s not sleazy, desperate or pushy, something we’d come to expect. Anmol had two Highlanders out warming up for us (we called on our way there). From that point on, it was a great experience. We ended up liking the ’07 Highlander, but were concerned because it was a little out of our ideal price. No problem. Anmol seriously went to bat for us. I can’t recommend him enough. Great guy. He assured us the vehicle was in great shape (again, we were skeptical after past experiences), but said if anything crazy happened, send him a text. We got it home, took it to be inspected at the local Toyota dealership, and the car was in as great shape as he said. Finally. An honest salesman. They do exist. Go here and ask for Anmol. I promise you won’t regret it.

Purchase my TSX eight weeks ago here. A week later I had a emissions light go off and a flat tire. Took it to a tire repair shop and the tire had a cheap Walmart quality plug in it. I had to purchase a new tire. I was told by MARK (sales) that the tires were new. I took my Acura in for service. They did not honor the free oil change and told me my emissions light indicator went off because of a faulty fuel cap. They replaced it. Three days later emissions light went off again took it in for service again and was told that they will not honor my warranty because of signs of rodents. Also told by KELLY the service manager that my fuel line was bent and they would not fix that either because of the signs of rodents. Little did they know I work at a body shop and my engine compartments was detailed and my car was on a lift the week prior so I know for a fact that I have no rodents that live or have left «nests» in my car as well as I know that there is no way they can see my bent fuel line without pulling my fuel tank which they did not do. These people are scam artists. I will never buy another car from them again. This is not the last they will hear from me.

I had the most amazing experience at Hinshaw’s Acura! I was helped by Cody, he was fun, knowledgeable, and concise. He helped me pick out the perfect new car the Acura TLX. He suggested trim levels that fit what I was looking for and worked with me on getting it for the best possible price. I will definitely only work with this dealership on the future and will always ask for Cody he’s amazing!

I’m new to Acura but I have to say that I really liked my initial buying experience here. My salesman, Young Pak, was great and had a lot of experience. He asked all the right questions and helped me get a great deal on my new Acura. I tried doing business at another Acura dealer closer to my home in Seattle but felt I was getting strung along, back and forth, wasting my time. I can’t review any other department yet since I only have 100 mikes on my new car, but if you’re looking for what seemed to be a straight forward, let’s make a deal kind if experience, come to Hinshaws and ask for Young!

I bought my Acura MDX here, I had a few questions for the service department, called and I was disappointed the tech wasn’t very knowledgeable and was a bit rude. Better service and trained staff can be found elsewhere.

My issue is to the overall sales department as that is the only department I have had dealings with. While the beginning of the process was pretty good, the end was absolutely unacceptable and thus, I will never return again.
I was looking to trade in my vehicle and was interested in 3 different brands and was getting numbers from each dealership. Hinshaw’s was the first dealer I would be getting numbers from. I had done my research on what the value of my vehicle was worth for trade in and though I know these numbers are «rough», they are a good starting point. The salesperson I started working through, which I had dealt with a year earlier, arrived at the dealership even on his day off. Which I thought was above and beyond the call of duty, and kudos to him for that. I had limited time to spend there as I had another task I had to perform and told him that as soon as he arrived. The numbers I got for my trade in were so far off from my research that I basically said, that won’t work and if that is the best you can come up with then there would be no need to proceed further. As the time for me to leave to get to my task approached, they asked if I could come back afterwards and they would see what they could do. I said I would be glad to and told them where I needed to be.
So, I left and proceeded on with my other tasks. One of which was to visit another dealership, with a different brand, on one of there vehicles I was interested in. This dealership treated me with the upmost of respect, and gave me a number that was a lot closer to what I had researched and come up with. While that number was still not what I need to make the deal, they were certainly giving it there best and continue to do so even as I type this. At the end of my stay, they repeated over and over again that sorry they couldn’t get the numbers I needed to make the deal, that they really appreciated me coming in and taking the time out of my day and that they would spend more time seeing what they could do. My experience there was outstanding.
So then, I return to Hinshaw’s Acura. The sales person i was working with fell ill and had to leave, which is totally understandable. I even talked to him over the phone and thanked him again so much for coming in on his day off. I was then handed over to another sales person. Right off the bat, he wanted me to write my address and telephone number down as it would appear on the title in their «work sheet». I did as I’ve seen this game before. And repeated to him that unless they came up with a far, far better number than they did before, that there would be no reason in proceeding. He said he would give it his best shot. The number he came back with was worse than the first number they had given me. I repeated again, that you are going in the wrong direction and that I see no reason to proceed any further as it was wasting their’s and my time. He then asked if he could work up payments to see where we would be and I said, okay. But, I highly doubt you will be able to lower your car to make up enough for what you are quoting me for my trade. After a few minutes he came back with a number that was totally the opposite of where I said I needed to be. And this time I flat out stated, you are so far off from where I need to be to consummate this deal it’s not even funny. He then started talking bad about my vehicle (a very high end German model, I might add, in excellent condition) and why he couldn’t do better. He then asked does this mean you are not interested in doing business today? At which time I said, yes, at those figures, I am absolutely not interested in doing this deal. At this time a family pulled up to the dealership and began to go inside the showroom. The salesperson didn’t even say well thank you for letting us try to earn your business or anything else for that matter. He literally, just turned and didn’t walk, but ran to the family that just arrived.
Failure to do a deal would not reflect on the dealership. That happens and is the normal part of purchasing a new car. Failure to conduct yourself in a professional manner and to treat the potential customer with respect and dignity does reflect on the dealership. And this dealership is using the same tactics that were used decades ago. And which by the way, used to give most dealerships a bad reputation.
So for the above reasons, I will never step foot on Hinshaw’s Acura lot again. They literally couldn’t pay me to do it.
What this salesperson did was totally uncalled for. And had I been his boss and seen it, he would have been dismissed immediately. Customer Service is not the most important thing in a deal, it’s the ONLY thing in a deal. And this dealership failed miserably.

I just got a used 2011 Honda Fit from these folks. Their staff was so nice to not only me, but my family from Idaho who were visiting at the time. (And who were buying the car with me.) Gave me a bottle of water and cracked a few friendly jokes. They were also fast and accurate with the paperwork. My used car is beautiful and in perfect working order. I think what impressed me the most out of these guys was that after the buying process, they sent me a thank you letter for the purchase. Not only that, but when my tags arrived today they had also sent over a spare key specifically for my car! When i’m looking for a newer model later on down the road, i’ll definitely be coming back to these guys.

SERVICE DEPT REVIEW
My 2007 RDX had a B1 service due according to the computer. Called them in the morning for cost of just a general oil change + filter (A1: $ 109) instead since I didn’t want to pay for the full B1 ($ 245), and they gave me an appointment for 2PM the same day.
First step walking in — was greeted promptly by Kelly (guy, general manager of service) and he made me a coffee (YAY!) and then Mike helped me get my info to get me started. He said computer showed B1 needed, but I said I only wanted general A1, which he was OK with. He didn’t try to push the B1 service, which made me happy.
At 2PM, they took the car in and got to work with it. Oil change is easy so I wasn’t expecting anything crazy. They finished within 40 minutes while I was in the waiting area (wifi, tv, coffee, cookies), complete with a report with the status of the car, include battery test, tire wear condition, etc. All is well, they didn’t try to tell me my car was falling to pieces. Even said it’s one of the better 07 RDX’s they worked on.
Oil change (6qts of 5w30 synth) + filter + washer = 51.45
Labor = 38.50
Tax = 8.46
Total = 98.41
From the experience, I’ll be coming back. Yes, it’s higher than your discount shop but it’s both convenience and QUALITY too, since some shops don’t use 5w30 and use cheaper oil instead. Keep in mind also that 6 qts of 5w30 is about $ 55 by itself.

We bought an pre-​owned mdx from this place and noticed that the radio control did not always work. They promised to fix it as part of the deal. Well we took the car in a total of 5 times and every time they would say that the issue could not duplicated and that the only way to fix it would be to replace all the steering controls and they were not willing to do that. DO NOT BUY from these guys. This dealership reminds me of the saying of «a pig with is still a pig» it looks nice but they don’t know how to really cater to those that are loyal to the brand.

We drove 29 miles to see Mike at Hinshaw Acura service department to have our MDX serviced. Even though we live only 5 miles away from another Acura dealership, Hinshaw always treated us like family and never pushed us on extra service work.
Mike in service provides the very best care when servicing our MDX.

I couldn’t wait to write my review for this shameful place but now that I look at all the other reviews I guess I don’t need to go into too much detail as it’s pretty obvious that this dealership stinks!
Once again they proved why I don’t go here unless deemed necessary and in this case it was a the seat belt clip that is a warranty I have to bring to an Acura dealership… and once again they tried to pull one over on us and attempted to dig into our pocketbooks for a frivolous service that they should have just taken care of.
I’m so glad that my co-​worker told me about Honda of Fife when I purchased my Acura and it shows since she has had 3 Acura’s and services them at Honda of Fife, not this shame of a service department. Don’t even ask to speak with the manager, that will only get you more upset, as the jerk has no people skills and how he is a manager? He must be a family member or something of the sort and not worry about his job and how he speaks to customers!

I did all of my research online and called dealerships all over the state to see who was going to give the best price on a new 2013 MDX Adv, plus give me a fair price on my Audi trade in. I ended up going with Hinshaw’s. I can’t speak for the rest of the staff but I found Keith Jackson to be very straightforward and professional. His attention to service and detail was excellent and stood out well above the rest of the sales associated I’d spoken to. He never tried to over sell me on anything, he just answered my questions and met ALL the many requirements and details that I wanted. The suggestions he did make were sensible and on point with my wish list. There wasn’t much back and fourth on price. Just an terrific price on the new car and a somewhat fair price that I can live with on my trade in.
I’m fairly realistic and pragmatic about the process of buying a car. I know that car dealerships are in the business of trying to make the most money they can, and buyers are trying to save as much as they can and get the best deal they can get. I was just aiming for landing somewhere in the middle.
In regards to his professionalism and service provided, Keith Jackson exceeded my expectations, and I would and will refer him to friends and family. I have not yet had any experience with the other departments so I can’t speak to my experiences, but I will certainly continue to do more research on customer feedback before I decide to bring my new car in for servicing.

What a refreshing trip to a car lot. Normally I wouldn’t write a review for a car lot but since my experience at Hinshaws was pleasant I felt I had to share. The salesmen Brandon was very helpful and informative and never pushy. Even when I told him I was just interested In test driving a few vehicles and wouldn’t be purchasing anything today he was warm and helpful and didn’t give me the cold shoulder or try to push me into negotiating a deal like some of the other lots I’ve been too. If you are in the market for a new car especially an Acura I would recommend visiting Hinshaws, if all the sales staff are similar to my experience with Brandon you will be in for a non pushy informative car buying experience. They also have a large selection to chose from.

Took my car there for an oil change and tire rotation. On the way home my tire went flat… HMMM. Took it back they said they couldnt find anything wrong with it. They pumped it up, It was flat again as I drove into Les Schwab. They found a small slice in the inside wall of the tire. Acura said there was no proof they did it as it could happen after I left. WOW!!!
