Customer since 2008 as they always had not so good customer service but their pizza was the best in Tacoma(Fife). As had great cheese and gourmet type ingredients cooked on a very tasty crust in a gas type of oven. The sauce was the brightest red and the most flavor I have had in my whole life. When they moved locations back around 2011 or so their pizza got even better but the service never so great as they had weird hours and opened and closed when they felt like it. One day my wife and I stopped by and a sign on the window said the owner has gone fishing. Literally as not joking as I think he really did go fishing. I never cared much for their weekend music venue but that is how they made money I guess as the location is tough for an evening business in fife. As the owner had the best pizza going as I know a lot of thought was involved creating his perfection. I would say it was the best I know of in Washington State. As I think most pizza joints are horrible these days as at one time when younger I made pizza when I was in school at pizza hut back in the day they made real pan pizza. It was my favorite back then in the 80’s as now I can’t stand their pizza. Now I never left a review of Louie’s G’s Pizza because I always had missed feelings but wasn’t going to say anything for or against due to I got my fix here and appreciated the pizza. But now they got new owners and quality has gotten even worse with the customer service and the quality of the pizza. In fact we were there tonight celebrating with my parents my wife graduating from UW in their master degree program. But the pizza was horrible as it was flavorless and about 25% smaller in size as the pizza came to us in the ring of the pan and was about 1.5 inches inside of the rim on their extra large pizza which now about a large size. Plus the pizza was dry and not much cheese or toppings plus the crust tasted different then before. We are not ones to call and complain but when my wife called to voice a complaint all I could hear was the manager talking and didn’t let my wife get words in past the initial complaint. My wife showed patience and wished them success with their business and we will most likely not be back. Poor Pizza and Customer Service. Now I will have to make our own pizza as what a pain but I don’t know where else to get a decent pizza near our home.

Tried this place on a whim. Maybe a place to go with teenage children and the like. A «Chuck E Cheese» for angst teenagers. Video games, and a stage for bands. TV’s around. We weren’t even there during a busy time. Music was playing very loud then they started to get set up for the bands that were playing later. The noise was almost unbearable. Our pizza came. Unimpressive, lacking flavor. We ate quickly and left. Needless to say, we don’t feel the need to return.

I order lunch from here at least once a week or more and have been doing so for over four months. I have tried several different items on their menu and my order has been correct every time. Friendly staff and awesome food, what more can you ask for.

Pizza was too crispy and too dry for my liking. It wasn’t what I was expecting… won’t be back :(

Love the atmosphere! The owner is super family-oriented and is all about helping out the locals/musicians/artists and various charities. We enjoy the food here, but the events and shows are where it’s at :) They never fail to put on an amazing event!

Came here tonight for pizza and wings. The soda was great, the wings were the size of a turkey wing and the pizza where to start. First the sauce and there was lots and lots of it tasted like straight up tomato soup, there was very little cheese and I am not a cheese person so that’s saying a lot, the onions were supposed to be red onions and they were absolutely tasteless white onions. But worst of all never in my life have I ever wanted to salt a pizza and this pizza was dying for a vigorous shake from a salt shaker it was so tastless. The one star is for the young girl working the front counter she was friendly helpful and efficient.

Live music was good. Long wait for service. Long wait for drinks. Over an hour long wait for food. Just ordered 1 pizza, nothing fancy. Pizza was decent. Nothing overwhelming or fantastic.

I have been to this restaurant several times even when it was known as Pizza Experience, and the pizza is fantastic. However they have moved to a larger location and feature live music on the week-ends and usually have a cover charge. They have also increased the menu offering burgers„ pasta dishes, salads, calzones and a slough of appetizers. This has resulted in several different issues, and even after doing these weekend events for awhile management has not been able to resolve them. The first problem to start with is not having enough wait staff and kitchen staff to handle the crowd. Second issue is not having enough product prepped for the night, and third is a lack of managerial presence. The night began with my wife and I arriving at 6 pm for a 7 pm musical event that we had pre-paid the cover charge online to save a couple of bucks. The purpose of offering a discount on the future event I think would be that management would get an early idea on the size of the event to be prepared. Well I would be wrong in my opinion on that I guess. When we walked in the door a gentleman was there to collect the cover charge, and to check in people who had pre-paid. Well there were two couples ahead of us, and it literally took each couple including us to find there own name while the door stop couldn’t figure how to read the list. This took almost 15 minutes just get into the place, and that should have been a warning sign. Once we got in and found the rest of our group, we discovered we didn’t have enough chairs for everyone. Thus literately had to fetch our own extra chairs that were stacked on the other side of the restaurant ourselves, and no one even asked if we needed help. Once we were seated we waited for about 20 minutes for wait staff to come and get our food and drink orders, but no one came. I noticed a line forming at the bar with people holding menus, and headed over to join the line. While waiting in line I looked over the menu, and actually having had pizza the night before I thought I would actually order one of there ½ pound burgers. Shortly after that a person of the wait staff showed up before I got to the bar to take my order. I told them I would like the Louie G BBQ burger, but was then informed they were all out of their beef patties(lack of preparation clearly, and it was only 6:45pm on a Friday night). I then decided on the spaghetti and meatballs dish with a trip to the salad bar, a small Louie G(all meat) pizza for my wife, a beer and a water. I told the wait person where we were seated and returned to our table. Shortly after that the wait person came by with our drinks, and a plate for the salad bar. I went to make a salad and it was one of the most dismal salad bars I have seen. There was a lettuce mix in a pan that was about a third of the salad bar, a selection of some six dressings that took up another third, and then the rest was made up of about 16 little pans about 3×5 inches in size. That was about the extent of our dinner for the next 2 ½ hours. I had heard the kitchen staff was telling other customers they couldn’t take anymore orders and it was going to be about a 90 minute wait as they were so far behind on existing orders. At that point I had already decided I wasn’t hungry anymore, and since I hadn’t seen anyone in a while I figured I was just going to end up a free beer and salad bar for the night. Especially since people that ordered after I had got there food and not me. That is when the wait person came by our table and saw our number still on the table. They apologized over and over again, and said they would make it right, and brought us our food, and the check telling me they gave me the beer for free. What a joke that was, and when I wanted to talk to a manager they couldn’t be found. Needless to say I didn’t tip, but I feel sorry for people that must endure working with such Inept management and ownership. This place is clearly a Hells Kitchen!!! If you go for the music be sure to eat somewhere else before going.

While in the area, we dropped in for lunch. WOW, what a great place. The two girls working asked if we had been there before. My fiancé had a the Louie G calzone, I was able to get my fork in for a bite or two. The combination was outstanding. I had the salad bar w/a small pizza. Great selection at the salad bar. We were exceptionally impressed with the staff and how incredibly personable they both were. We will be coming back, time and time again.

Went for pizza buffet last week. It was really a good deal. $ 10.00 bucks for everything. Despite hearing then having only a couple of pizzas out the had four going at any given time and were fresh. Salad bar was nice as well.

Came here for the ledzeplin cover band, and left with the memories of deep fried pickles to last a life time. I’d come back just for the food. Seriously if you live around here and you haven’t been here what are you doing? GETHERE.

Not impressed. The service is slow and the place is dirty. Pizza is okay, but I’ve had better. The waitresses are snotty and slow, I felt like a hassle the entire time I was there. I can’t recall her name, but she was small and blonde. I won’t be returning here, I would rather eat Pizza Hut.

Came in last night for the first time. I had dinner in the restaurant(chicken and mushroom fettuccini) which was delicious… very generous portions. Also had a Alaskan Pumpkin on tap, very good. Our waitress Stephanie was very helpful and very friendly. As the bands got ready my group and I moved over to the other side. The waitress on the event side was very helpful in the beginning and as the night went on we didn’t see her again. Little irritating since we were spending a lot of money. Will return with hope of better service on the event side next time.

Last night was my first time there. I came for the show and decided to get dinner. I looked at the menu prior to coming and was excited, who doesn’t love a good pizza or calzone? Showed up at about 7:30 and got seated. It took a little for our waitress to give us menus and take drink orders.(I think she was new because I got a nervous vibe from her) My aunt ordered a water with lemon and was then told they were out of fruit… While she went to get our drinks, that gave us time to look over the menu and make our final decisions. When she came back we went to order. My aunt started asking about chicken wings and we were then told they were out of those too. The food we did get was great. The garlic fries had great flavor and the calzone I got was amazing. Their mozzarella cheese is absolutely fantastic. For the show we moved over to the stage area and shared a table with friends. I finished my calzone and my aunt decided to get one for herself. This is were I was over it… When she got her calzone, our waitress told us WEHADTOSHAREFORKS!!! I’m sorry, but I HAVENEVERHAD A RESTAURANTTELLMETHEYRANOUTOFFORKS!!! Seriously, how does that even happen? I don’t know if they were short staffed or what, but I thought that was totally ridiculous and uncalled for!!! Good thing we were family! I’m willing to give this place another try because the food was good and I really think my boyfriend would enjoy their pizza and I would like to try it… but if the food wasn’t tasty to me, I would never visit this place again.

I am a fan! Killer food, great staff and the owner is a down to earth, kick ass human! They do it right and I’m happy to be a customer! Try the marinara on the pizza instead of the sauce. …it’s SOOOOOOO good! Had the technician bread today for the first time, what a fun and odd yummy combo!
