Anne’s Donuts Shop

I stopped in here around 7:30pm on a tuesday. They offer both sandwiches and donuts and I had walked in with some thoughts of being healthy, but I went straight to the pastries and bought (and immediately consumed) two. I ate them so quickly and with such abandon that I didn’t even get a photo of the first one, the more attractive one.
The donuts I ate were tasty and high quality. Even at night, the variety available was decent and the lady behind the counter was polite and professional. My 2 treats came to $ 2 and while I was there I also saw a man buy a dozen donuts (baker’s selection) for only $ 8.50. the dining area is small, but clean and they offer sodas as well. A sign on the wall offered types of cakes available by special order. I didn’t see hours posted so I’m not sure when they’re open, but I’m glad they were open when I stopped by!
Oh, one more thing — they’re cash only so be sure to bring enough!
Last thing — When I was browsing the donuts I noticed a distinct smell of passion fruit. When I went to pay I saw why — there was a basket of fresh passion fruits at the counter if you wanted to buy some. How lovely!
