I grew up in Findlay and every time I am back in town I stop into Bread Kneads! Famous for their butter flake rolls and super fresh treats, it never disappoints! Fantastic cookies, orange blossom rolls and perfectly prepared deli sandwiches. So happy this Findlay staple is still going strong!

My neighbor recommended me this place, and I’m so glad I tried it. Their bakery are over the top. I got half of a turkey sandwich, a load of crack wheat bread, a load of zucchini bread and a dozen of chocolate cookies. Everything were wonderful! This place will be my frequent talks and stops! P/S the service is great too. Go try and support our local business!!!

**LOCALBUSINESS** For the life of me, I thought this was just a bakery in the handful of decades I’ve been here. Our family only used it for bread rolls and such; I never heard it was a deli until recently. Silly me. To be honest, the hours kept, location, and lack of ease seeing inside prevented me from thinking otherwise. Apparently, it’s related to the Miller family(of the ill-fated Miller’s Luncheonette) and had supplied the diner with its baked goods. On that note, it was definitely worth a trip down Blanchard to scope it out for lunch. The deli itself isn’t heavily decorated, but the wonderful smell of bread and sweets greet you upon entering. That is a good start. Sandwiches are pre-made or made to order(the better way to run a deli, in my opinion). My order was a turkey and provolone on rye, as they were fresh out of the kaiser rolls. Upon tasting a corner of the croissant, it occurred to me later I should have opted for that instead but c’est la vie. It only took one taste to know the rye had been out for a while. It wasn’t bad, but definitely dry. The other ingredients were fresh and well-proportioned, and I was happy with the sandwich overall. Since this was a bakery as well, I decided to have one of their handmade cheese danishes. Chewy. I wasn’t expecting that; the danishes I usually get are flaky. I don’t think it ruined the pastry, in as much as caught me off guard. With other factors, such as the service being friendly and quick, I think this is a great place to stop by for a lunchtime deli sandwich.
