The absolute best lunch place in Findlay. They are quick and everything I’ve had there has been fantastic. I would try to avoid it on weekdays around 12 – 1 because it becomes extremely crowded with Marathon workers on their lunch break.

They always knock it out of the park on their sandwiches and soup. Favorite is the Joewitch. There in house made breads and expertise and sandwich making provide for the best combination possible.

Really chill place downtown findlay! The entire ceiling is covered in art and stuff all unique… some good some bad haha. Ive had a couple different sandwiches here and so far the only thing I did not like was their lentil soup. It was very similar to a chicken noodle soup without the noodles. Cookies are delicious! Tip: go before 12pm or you will have a while to wait since it’s a popular stop !

True to my word, I was back in Findlay at lunch time and revisited Main Street Deli. My food was good again but after I ate I walked back to the bathroom and noticed an older lady making sandwiches with her BAREHANDS. That’s right, no gloves and touching fresh vegetables, meats, and cheeses. Oh yeah, and wiping her hands on her pants too. I’ve never worked in food service so I looked up laws in Ohio. This is pasted below. ) Except when washing fruits and vegetables as specified under paragraph(G) of this rule or as specified in paragraph(A)(4) of this rule, food employees may not contact exposed, ready-to-eat food with their bare hands and shall use suitable utensils such as deli tissue, spatulas, tongs, single-use gloves, or dispensing equipment. Gross!

I absolutely love the soups they offer! I’m a huge fan of the bowl and butts combo. You get a bowl of your choice of soup and several tasty fresh bread ends! I love the broccoli cheese soup, it’s the best to dunk bread into!

What a wonderful place. Great atmosphere. Plenty of menu options and a friendly staff. Excellent food. Pretty much a blueprint for a great restaurant. I’ll definitely be back again if I’m in town again.

The Unilocal reviews helped us find this great deli. We’re from Philly, so finding unique delis is kind of a thing for us. Main Street is our stop on our way to visiting family in Dayton and has never disappointed us. I love the veggie sandwich on GF bread and the gluten free monster cookies. The double chocolate are also really good. My hubby is not GF, so he has tried the Reuben and the club. He said the breakfast sandwich on a croissant was the best he’s ever tasted. Love this place!

Love this place! Great soups and fresh sandwiches! They deliver but the wait might be longer than the average delivery place. Trust me it is worth the wait!

The food here is really good. I ordered the«Joe» which is when they just make you a sandwich any way they want, lol. Well the sandwich they made me was awesome! It had roast beef, turkey, bacon, tomato, on grilled bread. Yummy sandwich. The only issue we had was that it was a little confusing to order because they were crowded. After ordering, you have to wait until they call your name and then you pay at the counter. Lots of people standing around. That just goes to show that their food here is really good. I would definitely come back.

I would give even more than 5 stars for their Monster Cookies — no one makes them better! I buy loaves of cheddar bread to go, and I love grilled sandwiches. I make a concerted effort to go before the big noon rush so that my hot sandwich order doesn’t bog down the staff’s flow. The soup selection changes daily and they are always throwing in a couple new ones to keep the regulars on their toes. If they know you, you are greeted with a big hello. If they don’t know you, they will soon!

Was a great first experience! Joe and the staff are great to talk to and friendly. I think it’s awesome they have the selection called«Joewich», where you can just have the chef whip up a sandwich creation of his choice. The Joewich I got turned out delightful!

I’m pretty new to the area and was brought here by my co-workers on my first day at my job. I was a little iffy about it beforehand. I’m typically not a big deli sandwich person, but I’m so glad they took me to try it out. One of the best Reuben’s I’ve had. And I LOVE the Tina Tuna Reuben. Never heard of tuna as a Reuben before but it totally works. I love the hometown feel inside with the old photographs and everything. All around great place.

I am so glad we stopped by! Very yummy sandwiches! They give you a lot of chips and a pickle too! The people working there are super nice and down to earth! I would highly recommend the chocolate chip cookie with the Oreo baked inside! Satisfied

My favorite stop in Findlay so far. This looks like a spot for hipster to meet corporate Marathon Man along with family lunch crowd. I walked in and was greeted very kindly by the lady I now take to be the owner. I started looking up at the Chalkboard to realize that it was naming the breads and other things. Elaine quickly pointed me to the menu on the counter. The menu had a a variety of specialty sandwiches(5 – 6) to single meat sandwiches(4 – 5). Each sandwich comes with a pickle and chips. One can also substitute the chips for carrots, pretzels or be upcharged to get kettle chips or something else. I ordered the Hobo Joe on recommendation from Nate L. and I was not disappointed. I like Black Russian bread and it came warmed a little. I thought it was pretty good and would order it again. If you don’t like sandwiches with lots of dressing or sauce then stay away from this. The sauce was dripping from the sides. I ordered the club on cracked wheat for the wife. She enjoyed the sandwich but it lacks the club staple Bacon. The cracked wheat was pretty good better than other wheat breads. The sandwiches were decent size and I would say good value for portion and taste. The staff was super friendly and answered all my questions. Behind the counter looked like a mess but that just showed dedication to pushing the product out and clean up later. I am hoping to stop back in here before I head out of Findlay. They also have coffee in the back which can by whole bean, ground, or by the cup. I could move this Deli to Columbus and this place would be packed. I would put it into a lunch staple for myself.
