Stopped in while traveling. Good food and priced good! Great service and very friendly staff. Our wait was about 30mins to be seated on a Friday evening. Food arrived quickly.

Went here today to get a burger while running errands. Two greeters, one of which wanted to seat me, other just runs in a random direction after muttering«this is faster», before back in opposite direction and almost barreling in to me. Seats me at nearest empty seat, doesn’t say a word, then scowls at me after almost running in to me a second time in her rush to get back to her conversation. I then waited ten minutes before being acknowledged and served. It wasn’t that they were busy, the servers were just nonexistent. And by non existent I mean hanging out at the bar ignoring customers. I used to work customer service, in food, so I can understand the stresses of the job. But this was off peak hours(1:30 pm on a week day), and I was treated first as an inconvenience and then ignored. This is officially the second worst service I’ve ever experienced.

In the past I would have given this place four or five stars when Stacy was the manager, but since she’s gone the service has really gone downhill. When Stacy was the GM we rarely had a problem with service or the food and if we did she would correct the problem on the spot. Last time we went there we waited almost a half hour for our order to get taken and then another 45 minutes on the food. After a half hour we complained and the manager on duty told us the head cook cut himself and another employee had to rush him to the ER and they were down two employees due to that. I normally don’t expect a discounted meal but when it takes over an hour and 15 minutes from the time you are seated to get your food they should adjust the bill. The really funny thing is that I mentioned it to an employee at the Findlay client and he said him and his wife were given that same excuse two different times when they complained about the wait on their food:) Apparently the head cook needs training on how to use a knife:) Avoid the shrimp, more breading than meat. The Asian salad is good. This is the only place I’ve found in Findlay with an Edamame appetizer and I love the spices. The Spasgna and Shepard’s Pie are my favorites. The drinks I’ve had at the bar have always been really good. If you are dining with only one other person and don’t mind eating at the bar, the service seems to be a lot faster there than sitting in the dining area

Arrived at 9:00 and placed a to go order… at 9:45 my food was brought out to me cold… was told it would be fixed…5 mins later a whole«new» order came but being that I work in the restaurant business I could tell it was just microwaved, and then was lied to about it… worst service I’ve ever received in my life… horrid managing

Want Patron margaritas for less than $ 6? GOTOCHEDDARS. Seriously huge variety of drinks and classic bar apps for less than $ 5. Come drink like it’s 1994.

It’s great bar food and has quite a wide selection. The staff is kind of blah and plating isn’t very impressive, but the food tastes good.

Rated one star because they made detrimental changes to the Lemon Pepper Chicken entrée. This entrée should no longer be called lemon pepper due to the lack of seasoning. The name would be more appropriate if called salt and pepper chicken. The bed of rice also took a devastating turn for the worse when they decided to remove the seasoning, carrots, peas, and onion turning this entrée into a dull disappointing plate of food. If you want salt and pepper chicken served on a bed of plain white rice… bon a petit. The old entrée kept me as a faithful customer until now. What a shame.

I had the fried shrimp with fries and Mac and cheese. The shrimp had a bit of heat which was nice, but not much shrimp flavor. They were not very crisp. The fries were alright, nothing special. The Mac and cheese was above average. Good food, overall average to above average, but nothing special. Worth a visit, better than the national chains.

My wife and I met some friends here once and loved it! They had been here many times before, being more local to the area than we were, so they knew what to recommend. They serve homey food, which was just right the cold day we went. We started off with their Cheesy Spinich Dip… OMG it was SOGOOD! I got the chicken tenders… yes chicken tenders… not exactly the most adventurous choice but wow they were good — and I know chicken tenders! My wife got some seafood dish and all I remember about it is that she loved it. We finished with both couples sharing their fresh baked monster cookie sundae… words can not describe the delicious chocolately goodness! The staff were great and the memory is cherished.

Bartender with braids so annoying! Kept making the same stupid comments and jokes no one responded to or laughed at — hamburger more like ham murder and chicken tenders more like life Enders — not really even funny once but after 10 times in 10 minutes — I beg of you — please stop!

Went here for the first time today. Was traveling & went approximately 20 minutes out of our way to eat here, because of a recommendation. Just wasn’t worth it. Much better restaurants right on Interstate 75 in Findlay. Wasn’t impressed @ all. There was 7 of us & we all agreed it was just OK. I do have to say that service was good. Probably 2 Cheddars trips in 1, our first & last :-( Our selections were: spinach dip & ultimate nachos for appetizers. Chicken tenders, fried shrimp, bbq ribs, Monte Cristo, & kids cheeseburger, all of which was mediocre @ best!

Love it, the amount of food you get for the price is phenomenal! Try the blackened catfish, you won’t be disappointed! Oh and our server was very charismatic and had a great sense of humor. Plus he was kinda cute too!

I love this place! Maybe my favorite restaurant in Findlay. I love especially anything they serve that is hand battered and fried. If you want healthy options though, they have those too! I get the Chicken Tender Basket every time, and while that may sounds like a children’s meal, trust me, that thing is high quality chicken in high quality batter. If you like honey mustard, you HAVE to try their honey mustard sauce with it. They have a chicken tender basket, and a chicken tender platter. The basket is an «appetizer», but the portions are so good it could be an entrée. I think it’s at a pretty fair price too.

I love Cheddar’s. Cheddar’s has a very inviting atmosphere, quite a few good servers, and a menu that’ll please just about anybody. I don’t think I’ve ever came here without getting the spinach dip, that stuff is divine. The most impressive part for me, however, is the«veggie plate». Basically, the veggie plate is a salad or soup(avoid the soups if you’re vegetarian), any 4 of their side dishes, and a croissant. This was EXACTLY what I wanted, a highly customizable vegetarian dish. Most restaurants of this ilk have a veggie burger or something similar, and not much else. So much kudos to Cheddar’s for having a bit of something for everybody.

Cheddars is our favorite eatery in Findlay. Good food prepared on the premises. Good variety on the menu. And the best value in town. We especially appreciate the service at the bar on the weekends from Tabbatha, Courtney, and Amber. You’ll see us there regularly. Order yourself a Chairman from the bar.

Great prices, large portions, and amazing food. Service can be lacking on certain days(I think there are just a couple servers they need to let go. sorry) but the spinach dip is to die for and that’s what we go there for most :)

Good menu. Ordered a rack of ribs and key lime chicken and shrimp. Fast service, decent décor. Ribs were a little black and crusty but meaty with good flavor. Chicken was good. I would like to return and try some other menu items.

Not a bad place. Very similar to Applebees but I think they ave more variety on their menu. They have good value for their food and portion size. They have a Monte Cristo which initially sounds good but it is not. I was sucked into wanting to try this out. It is a little to deep fried for my taste. My wife and I thought about trying this a few months ago when we stopped at another Cheddars in WV, but decided not too. We thought it looked good when we saw a person beside us order it. Don’t be tempted. It is definitely not healthy and not all that tasty either.

This is by definitely one of my husband and my favorite Findlay restaurants. The food is consistently delicious, the drinks are great, and you can’t beat the prices. His favorite is the buffalo chicken wrapper, and I love regular old chicken fingers with mashed potatoes(skins included). I also get the Dijon mushroom chicken on occasion, and I loooooove their margaritas. Our total bill is usually between $ 15−20… with leftovers to take home. You just can’t beat it!

I think 3 stars for Cheddar’s is fair. The food is good but nothing special. The croissants were really the only thing to write home about. Prices were low, but the service during a moderately busy lunch bordered on incompetent. Bright side-the monster cookie was on the house because they burned the first one. I’ll be back because it’s super affordable, the burgers looked nice, and the bar seems to know what they’re doing.

We stopped here on a trip threw the area. We ordered 3 different meals and two of them had hair in them! Yuck! The food was OK, but not great. The cook apparently doesn’t know what medium rare is either. I cannot say that I would recommend this place or even eat there again. They did credit us our food, but we were still hungry since we were not in the mood to eat food with hair in it. :/

As opportunity would have it, a group of friends decided to visit this restaurant again. Our service was attentive and polite, which I appreciate greatly. The order time was a bit longer than I would have liked, but that’s something the server cannot help. After looking at the menu online, I did see they currently charge about $ 5.00 for their burgers, however I noticed the«gotcha» when I arrived. It’s just the burger. You might just want to tack on $ 1.69 for fries, as that’s quite the standard dinner plate. I really don’t like it when restaurants do that. I find it deceptive. Regardless, I decided to add a few cents extra to the bill and go for the $ 7.00 Philly cheese steak(fries included). I found it to be prepared properly, and have no complaints. It wasn’t the greatest steak and cheese I’ve ever had, but I enjoyed my dinner all the same. Fortunately, the fries weren’t seasoned, and those were enjoyable too. As I assess the whole dining experience, I still think three of five stars is fair for Cheddar’s, as it is A-OK.

I go to Cheddar’s 2 – 3 times per month. The food is always excellent and you get very large portions(the money they save by not advertising goes to larger portions). Of everything I’ve tried(which is probably about 80% of the menu), there has only been one thing I didn’t like. There have been a few times when service was kind of slow, but that was mostly due to a new waitress or being served after a large party. Otherwise it is very quick and always accurate. Regarding Nate L’s comment – burgers are not $ 8. Actually, a Smokehouse Burger(half-pound burger, lettuce, onion straws, barbecue ranch, pickles, and tomatoes) is only $ 4.99. This very well could have been a price change, but a tasty price change at that.
