Called to make reservation for two and was told they only would make reservation for four. I have NEVER heard of a restaurant turning away a customer. I will never eat at this place and will make sure everyone on social media knows how they TRULY treat customers.

Food great. Service bad. Get carry out. Visiting on a wed night at 7pm we were asked if we had reservations. No. Ok. Only 1 table available. It’s by the front door and bar. Ok we will take it. We were there till after 9. ½ the restaurant were nice quiet tables that went UNUSED all evening. Seriously, there were about a dozen tables they could have given us. We ordered wine and waited 10 min for it to arrive. When I mentioned the pads of butter were rock hard to point of being unusable the waitress argued with me. Finally said she doesn’t have any say over the butter temp. The bus boy was nice but wearing a tee shirt and ripped jeans. Is this a ho hum Applebee’s-esque eatery or a special restaurant? It can’t decide. The chef, through his/her craft, says«We are something special» the staff and management say«Yeah, whatever. Food’s good, what ya complaining ’bout?» The menu is full of creative dishes, I would like to try each one. The food we had was quite good. We planned to stay for dessert but were just ready to be done by the time it was offered. So much potential… just train your wait staff and make everyone who walks through the door feel as though they are the most important people in the room. Never get defensive. Certainly don’t make me feel stupid! Do this and there’s no place better within 30 miles.

This is the best and fanciest place on Main Street. Go here for great food anytime and certainly for celebrations and when people come to town.

The ambiance was very nice and dining area very Italian. However that is where the Italian experience ends. The«bread“they serve are actually knot rolls and served only with butter and not olive oil. The spaghetti sauce is so sweet it tastes like candied tomatoes and is not fit to eat except by those wishing to get diabetes. However the meatballs and minestrone soup were good. The staff were a bit put back about me not eating their food stating that they advertise their wonderful sweet sauce on the menu. Suggestion go to the store and buy some Paul Newman sauce and tell the chef to back to culinary school.

Delicious, hot and fresh food! The atmosphere is intimate and quiet. We have never been here before but am so glad we went on the suggestion of a friend. Our waiter was Jeff and he did a great job. We will be going back

Quite possibly the worst service I’ve ever experienced… all of their food is bought at Gordon Food Service… Cardboard pizza, cold meatballs and chicken wings and pot stickers followed by fried mozzarella squares that were black on the outside from the nasty grease that probably hasn’t been changed in weeks in their fryer… Our«bartender» could have given Miranda Priestly a run for her money in the«bitchiness» category… her sullen face and poor attitude made me think about suicide and I’m a very happy guy… all in all you guys are a joke of a restaurant and your customer service for a party that was spending a lot of money there couldn’t have been worse… I work in the restaurant business and I dare you to show me that your food is not bought at GFS… eat at your own risk peeps

Found this fantastic authentic gem while traveling. Very nice appearance strikes you upon entering. Outstanding service. Food: the best eggplant, veal saltimbocca I’ve ever had. Their special recipe. Hope to find my way back to this city to dine there again.

I came here for romantic date night with my boyfriend. Upon arriving we were told that the only tables open were the ones in the bar despite the fact that 1⁄3 of the dining room was open and remained open during our entire two hour dinner. I don’t know, maybe they thought of us as young kids that wouldn’t appreciate good food but they were pretty cold shouldered and unfriendly towards us during our time there. The food was decent. We both had the mozzarella tomato soup which was little more than simple tomatoes in a salty broth. For the main dish I had the Farfelle Pasta which I didn’t feel was very Italian. It was incredibly greasy and had way too many sun dried tomatoes for me to actually appreciate the pasta taste. My boyfriend has the Seared Ahi Tuna which he loved. He was pleasantly surprised with the wasabi infused potatoes with ginger that complimented the tuna perfectly. For dessert I ordered a cosmopolitan which was pretty good but nothing special. Overall my experience with this restaurant could have been a good one if only we were treated with some kindness upon arriving. The seating issue and snobbish waitstaff put a bad taste in our mouths that lingered throughout our visit and soiled any enjoyable time we might have had.

Another great place to walk to on lunch. Meg’s salad is my favorite. Get there early at lunch. I think everyone else at work has the same idea when the weather is nice. Very nice atmosphere, pleasant wait staff, food is always out promptly. Definitely give this place a try.

The food-and I have tried many items on the menu, rates with a top big-city restaurant in its’ presentation, consistency and taste. The martinis are the best I have ever had. The service is excellent. The interior is beautiful. The best restaurant in Findlay by far.

Continuing to carouse the restaurants of downtown Findlay, today’s lunch was at Rossilli’s. Walking through the door, you’re greeted with a nice ambiance and very clean restaurant, always a positive first sign. We were seated promptly as there weren’t many people there at first for lunch, but the restaurant filled up quickly. Our waitress came quickly, was very friendly, and brought our drinks before we had time to fully cruise the menu. However, the waitress was very patient and gave us some more time to decide on what we were having. Normally when eating at a restaurant that claims to specialize in Italian food, I order the eggplant parmesan. However, I decided to try something different for lunch and settled on the south western grilled chicken panini. After taking our order, the waitress brought out house rolls to nibble on as we waited for our entrees. Before I could even finish my roll, my sandwich had arrived and looked delicious. At first, I was skeptical of a sandwich that included grilled chicken with the perfect hint of char flavor, coleslaw, and french fries(not as a side… on the sandwich); but it worked perfectly and the sweet chili mayo was the perfect complement to finish the sandwich. In addition, my sandwich was served with a dear spear(always a plus), and a bag of chips. In all, I had lunch for $ 7.25 and left full and very satisfied. I can’t attest to Rossilli’s for dinner, but would definitely go back to try. The food was great, the service was fast and friendly, and the atmosphere was very relaxing. Definitely a downtown restaurant you don’t want to miss.

Probably our favorite downtown eatery in Findlay. Great food and good variety on the menu. You’ll love the breadknots! I’d recommend the meatloaf. And also the sprouts. And their minestrone is wonderful. You won’t go wrong at Rosillis.

I’m not a world traveler, or a frequent domestic traveler for that matter, but from Columbus to Houston — New York to San Fransisco(L.A.s not worth mentioning), Rossilli’s is in THETOP5! The Veal Saltimbocca is my favorite, and I have a hard time not ordering it when I go, but they have about 20 entries, and of the ~ 10 I’ve tried, you can’t go wrong. Depending on drinks, and appetizer preference — you can dine for about $ 30/person(soup/salad, dinner, glass of wine, tip). I hate to set expectations too high, but for small town Findlay, OH — this is an excellent dining experience for the money. Hope you Enjoy!

While in the Findley area on business this week we stopped by Rossilli’s, twice, for dinner. On the first night I had the 8 oz center cut tenderloin with mashed potato. The steak was a steak. I mean for the price I was expecting more. I honestly couldn’t tell much of a difference between an Outback or Applebees steak. This is probably the biggest reason I only gave a 3 out of 5 rating. Most of the group ordered the Blackened Meatloaf, which looked good and from what was said to me tasted good too. The next night we had a party of four. I ordered the Romano Crusted Chicken with pasta. It was good too, but something I could live without. I do know that the bill for the four of us that night was just over $ 70 without the tip. The restaurant does have a very nice ambiance with dark lighting they use. The staff is friendly and very helpful with the menu. The warm dinner rolls served before the meal are quite tasty too. Also the Caesar salad I had was pretty good. Rossilli’s would, in my opinion, be a great place for a formal gathering or dinner or quiet date night. This place is worth a try!

**LOCALBUSINESS** It has been some time since I’ve visited Rossilli’s. I would’ve remedied that, had it not been closed on a Sunday in late December of last year(cue the Price is Right losing horn). Oh well, it pays sometimes to call ahead. Regardless, the cozy, darker atmosphere adds to the privacy and seclusion one would enjoy in, say, a tête-à-tête with a romantic interest. It’s a little more upscale, so dressing up a bit isn’t out of the question. However, I’ve had a perfectly comfortable meal in jeans. I will say I was a fan of the bruschetta I ordered the last time I was there. They had a wonderful combination of tomato, basil, and garlic.
