Really good food that is different from the generic Chinese at most of the other restaurants in Findlay. They have changed their hours though and now don’t open until 2:00 p.m. I always went there for lunch so living out of town I can not get there as often as I used to :(

While I ordered the simple dish of vegetable fried rice, it tasted delicious and fresh. My wife ordered chicken fried rice and was also pleased. She was not, however, please with the egg rolls. She said the egg roll had an unexpected spice — it smelled like cinnamon. I can’t wait to return to order something other than fried rice. One small complaint. I can’t say for sure, but, I don’t think the décor has changed in 15 years.

Most amazing Almond Chicken, Won Ton Soup, and Egg Rolls! My husband and I been fans since our college days in the 80s and now our son loves it! Definitely worth a visit!

For as long as I can remember, the New China Inn has steadfastly remained on the east downtown block near the Blanchard river. I honestly don’t know if it was the first Chinese restaurant in Findlay or if someone else(e.g. Mark Pi’s) had that distinction. The food is good, but nothing really different from all of the other Chinese restaurants in the area. Every time I’ve been there, the service has been friendly and attentive. It’s definitely what you would expect a Chinese restaurant to be around here.
