Was visiting some family in Firebaugh – was part of one of those massive bi-weekly Quinceañera/Wedding/Baptism things – and decided to stop here for a late breakfast. I was very surprised! I have never really been a fan of Salvadoran food in Phoenix, AZ, but this one was really good. It could be that restaurants in Phoenix, AZ have some catching up to do, or I haven’t seen the good ones. Pros: — Breakfast Chorizo Burrito was amazing. — Caldo De Res(in English it is pronounced: «Call Doe Day Raise») was also amazing. — Service was prompt and courteous! — Soooo inexpensive for what you get! Cons: — Salvadoran Horchata is not as good as Mexican Horchata(There may be a bias here though from me). I am 1000% returning here for the next time I am in Firebaugh attending a Quinceañera/Wedding/Baptism/Other Mexican Get Together Excuse.

Was visiting family after a school promotion and the décor is a bit rough, it was a bar at one point by the layout with bars and a stage none in use. Was a bit hesitant to try but I ordered three papusa even though I never had or heard of them before. I ordered chicken, chicarone, and the loroco just to try. Everyone was scared of the loroco and I made everyone all try it they all agreed, it was the best one. It just taste like really good corn. Food was all good, even the pastries, service was good and staff was friendly. Will be back whenever I am in town and hungry.

Came here as there aren’t too many Salvadoran restaurants in the valley. The pupusas are very reasonably priced and the salsa de tomate with the curtido was excellent. I like a little more chicharron and loroco in my pupusas but overall they were good. I spent about $ 20 for two people and still had some leftovers to take home. The waitress was very friendly and hospitable, I will likely come back to try the other regional dishes.

Pupusas here are awesome. This place brings a little more Latin diversity to Firebaugh other than mexican. Tacos al pastor are great too. we were in the process of moving and we oredered from here twice back to back it was so good. i want to go back and try the other dishes they have.
