An old-school donut shop in the middle of downtown Firebaugh. Selection changes every day, depending on what the owners get up and make — but there’s always a combination of cake and glazed donuts. The apple fritters are tasty and you can’t miss with a bag of donut holes — a dozen for $ 1.30. The croissant«sandwiches»? The pastry is more delicious than the filling — but for about $ 2.50, it’s a pretty good meal for the road. There are always some locals hanging out at the tables covered with plastic tablecloths, drinking coffee and telling tales. Cash only, so be prepared.

Donuts and food are good, especially in the morning. However the coffee isn’t, and they don’t take debit or credit.

Some of the best donuts around. Blueberry, oldfashioned, cheese-danish, apple fritters… A little more on the fried side for my taste but still remarkably good.

probably the healthiest lunch to be had in Firebaugh if you can resist the donuts… they have several different made to order sandwiches with you choice of croissant, French roll, or bagel. they also make a mean thai icetea– ik who’d of thought it here Cash only tho! go prepared, n while the outside is a dive, their kitchen is clean, n staff is friendly. if your in a hurry in summer, fall you may want to order ahead– they can get busy…
