Had breakfast here with my husband last weekend. I had the bacon quiche with a side of hash browns. The quiche was wonderful, and the potatoes were shredded, the way I like them, and perfectly seasoned, no salt needed. Seems like my husband had eggs, hash browns, and toast(he chose sourdough, if I remember correctly). His hash browns were cooked a little too well, which he commented on when he was how perfect mine looked, and I agreed. Both of ours had looked on the dark side when they arrived, but mine were perfect when I forked into them, and his were a bit too dark all the way through. I encouraged him to send them back, but he said they weren’t that bad. Too bad, though, because mine were great.

A perfect place for breakfast! Most people that worked there have been there for a while. Every breakfast item I have had has been excellent. The place has a feel that it is the neighborhood breakfast place where everyone goes. I also order out from there and just pick it up. It’s always ready when they say it will be

I love this place! The owners and waitresses are nice and welcoming and the food is great! You just never know who will be eating breakfast in here. It’s the quiet little celebrity hot spot!

Simple great breakfast. I like the cinnamon toast option. The waiting area is not great and there has always been a wait for me. But we make due.

Combo #3, please! The simplicity of eggs, bacon and toast truly never gets old. Pair that with a cup of coffee and by golly — there’s no doubt why breakfast gives all other meal times a run for their money. I must admit, I drove by Sunrise Café several times before actually knowing it existed. With it being in a strip off of 116th, there’s just a million and one things to pay attention to — and I kept missing it. It wasn’t until I took the time to look up breakfast options in Fishers that I realized how close Sunrise Café was all along.(And now I’m literally right down the road from it!) But every one of my visits has proved that they aren’t lacking in attendance. It’s a place loved by all and I’ve never been disappointed with the food. I even made it my go-to spot for my mom’s Mother’s Day brunch after church one year.

A local generally safe breakfast brunch alternative to the Bob Evans and Perkins of the world. Friendly staff and quick service. Costs are about on par for Fishers(generally higher than most) and food I have ordered in the past has always been sufficiently tasty. Reminds me a lot of the Roost farther down 116th St.

Do you want a $ 17 omelet, because this is where you get a $ 17 omelet. The omelet comes with cheese only for nearly $ 9, everything else had to purchased separately. Vegetables are an additional $.50 and meats are $ 1.50 each. There are many other places that are just as good, but half the price.

This place is delightful! Greeter was a little off-putting, but the service made up for it! Food was absolutely wonderful, and very fresh. All of it was hand made and the flavors were a joy to partake in. The server was great and kept my coffee full and water topped off. If I ever come back to this area to work, I will be visiting again. Fantastic place!

Great little diner! Good food, generous portions, several options. Coffee was standard diner coffee, but the service was great… We had Kelly as a server, and she was charming, helpful, and attentive. Certainly worth a repeat visit… Tastes just like small town breakfast. Don’t miss the homemade bread and strawberry jam!

Had lunch here today. The bacon(crispy) and hash browns(well done) were cooked perfectly just like my request. And kudos x a billion for having homemade bread options(I had whole wheat… yum) along with homemade strawberry preserves. The portion sizes were good as I devoured everything. My over easy eggs were cooked all the way through, and as I like my eggs still clucking… that is the only reason this isn’t a 5 star review(plus the price seems just a tad high). I foresee many return trips to this hole in the wall spot.

I have just had breakfast here so this review is based on that. Eggs benedict was very good. Hash browns were a little too crispy but not bad. Coffee could be better but overall it’s good food for a decent price.

Bacon… Yes I love Bacon, eggs, toast and crispy fried potatoes. Always busy, clean with hot food but the table are very close together.

Went here for breakfast today and had the egg benedict, which was delicious. The coffee was good, although not great. Our server was nice and attentive although they seemed to be busy. Will definitely be coming back for more overall. It’s nice to have a good breakfast joint close to home.

Breakfast food is easy to make, but hard to make well. I can count on one hand the number of times that I can get a place to make over medium eggs the right way — without brown scorch marks, with a runny center and fully cooked whites. Sunrise Café managed perfect eggs, which always impresses me. I like that there are a fair amount of «lower carb» options(also gluten free too) and that their strawberry jam is homemade and tastes just like my mom’s. I remain puzzled by the«to go» options on the back of the menu though — do people really come in and grab a pint of icing to go? I guess they must because otherwise why would it be an option? Same thing with the«bowl of sausage gravy» side — does that get ordered? By who? I have questions. What I don’t have questions about is Sunrise’s ability to turn out a very good breakfast including perfectly made eggs. Two thumbs up for that.

The tables are really close together. If your not keen on having people so close to you when you’re eating or having conversations this is probably not the place for you. Other than that food is good!

The menu at Sunrise is your typical breakfast/lunch joint with just what you would expect. What makes it great is that they offer homemade bread options and have the best fresh strawberry jelly I’ve ever had. If you are a toast lover such as myself, it will be the highlight of your experience at Sunrise. Service is always good, food hits the table fast. Worth the usual wait of 20 – 30 minutes to get seated on the weekend.

Nice place. Food was good. Typical breakfast food, nothing special. Would consider going again but probably not. Bigger portions or possibly more menu items could make this a bit better. I’d like to see grape juice on menu. Average service.

Super friendly staff. Coffee was beyond stout. Food was mediocre at best. Pretty bummed out because we were looking forward to trying this place!

Soooo… I used to come here on Saturday and Sunday mornings for«hangover food» and I usually wore what I had on the night before«walk of shame» style… and it was always SOOOO good and such a great start after a LONG night. I haven’t been here in about four years but my hubby and I stopped in for a bite on the way to pick up our kiddos after a night out downtown. I was a bit hungover and it made sense to give it a go. I was so happy we went after our experience. I always thought there were only three kinds of eggs… and I have a preference of how I like mine(doesn’t everyone?). WHOKNEW there were like 8 versions of eggs? Our server was AWESOME at walking me through the egg-ordering process. See, I like my eggs a bit harder in the middle but still a little runny but not toooooo runny, if that makes sense. I don’t like them cooked all the way through though! Explaining this in most places usually ends up with either overcooked or very underdone eggs and I will not eat either of them. Wellll…apparently I like my eggs«over medium». Seriously — I had no idea this was even a thing! But she was right… they were the perfect balance of hard with a little drizzle to dip my toast in. I don’t ask for much, ha! I was very happy with the entire experience and I thought our server especially was wonderful. On a busy Sunday a.m. there was a very short wait and it seemed like service was running smoothly for everyone even though the restaurant was pretty crowded. I would definitely go back for more! I also really enjoy their biscuits and gravy. There are so few places that do gravy well but this is one of them. The price point for breakfast is right on as well. I mean, no one needs to be charging $ 15/per person for the lowest costing food options on the planet. If you like that«greasy spoon,» «hole in the wall» type of atmosphere with a homey knowledgeable but also super friendly staff, give Sunrise a try. It’s in everyone’s neck of the woods on the north side!

Another great experience. Came for breakfast this morning at 9am. There was a short wait for a table of about 10 minutes. My wife and I both ordered the combo #2 which is two eggs, toast, and hashbrowns. What we love about Sunrise is how perfectly the eggs are cooked, no matter how you order them. Scrambled or over easy, they are never overcooked or undercooked. The hashbrowns are some of the best I’ve had as well. Also love the homemade strawberry jam. Even though it was a busy Saturday morning, the service was excellent and we didn’t have to wait long for our food.
