Food was excellent as was the service. Our waitress Shannon was outstanding, despite being quite busy on a Thursday night. We ordered the arincini appetizer, I had the kale salad and my husband had the mozzarella and tomato caprase. I had the sausage, peas, and pasta in cream sauce(I forgot the name) and all were quite good. The drinks were well made and I thought the cost was reasonable. We will be going back!

We went to to this restaurant about three weeks ago in May 2016. It was six of us Margaret Armondo David Pam John and Pat. We had the best waitress her name is Shannon. When we arrived other tables were filled and it was kind of loud. I had the shrimp cocktail which was absolutely delicious even though it wasn’t traditional cocktail sauce I really enjoyed it. I also enjoyed my entrée, veal and had a wonderful time, I will definitely go back to this restaurant. I give this a restaurant to nine out of 10

What an exceptional experience! From the moment we stepped inside, we felt as if we were welcomed into a friends home. The attention, the food, the wine, it could not have been a better time. We plan on returning soon!

Excellent food, homemade and fresh. We had a party of 15 here recently and it could not have been more perfect. The staff was polite, friendly and so attentive, even booking the party was a pleasure. The food was great and affordable! Can’t say enough about it. The homemade butternut squash ravioli is to die for!

Boozy Brunch! What a perfect spot for Sunday brunch — outdoor seating, 3 course meal, unlimited mimosas and bloodys! The food is delicious, they carry the best gelato and they make a mean cannoli. We had the French toast and burger, and I would recommend both. The service is great, our waitress was so friendly!

I met one of my college friends here for brunch today — brunch is always fun so I was excited to try a new place. Al Fresco is located along the main strip in Fishkill — the restaurant looks like it’s located in an old house which really adds character. The décor is simple but nice — light colors throughout the dining room with clean lines. Brunch is a three-course meal for $ 25. The first course was a choice of soup of the day or salad — I chose the soup which was vegetable in a tomato base; it was good but a little on the bland side — cracked pepper helped a little. For the second course you got to choose from a number of breakfast and lunch items, I swayed in the lunch direction and got the panico con pollo, which was a chicken breast sandwich with lettuce, tomato, shaved parmesan, and pancetta. You can choose between regular fries, sweet potato fries, or salad as a side(I chose sweet potato fries). The sandwich was basic but pretty good — fries were fine as well. The third course was dessert — I got the cherry-pistachio gelato which came with two small biscotti. This was the best part of my meal — the gelato was tasty with nice chunks of cherry and pistachio nuts. Service was good, but overall the experience was overwhelmingly average(the company of my friend excluded of course ;-). They had a nice variety of brunch stuff to choose from, and I liked the whole 3-course idea, but the food left something to be desired.

We have always wanted to check this place out and we are glad we did! Stopped in to see what it was all about — it feels hidden. Once inside, you can see why. It’s very quiet and intimate, with an old country Italian feel. We opted to sit at the bar and simply take in the view and have a nice conversation. Two glasses of bubbly and a delicious octopus appetizer, and we know we will be back. Staff was lovely!

So I went during hudson valley restaurant week and did the prefixe three course. I had a tortellini soup to begin, meh pass. My main course I had an orzo with red pepper and shrimp– delicious. For dessert I had a pumpkin crembrule which… Was amazing. My experience her was good. I mean the chef prancing around in a mini skirt with a filthy chef coat on was a bit much but hey whatever lol. I can say that I went with my mom and she had some sort of gnocchi and she was not a fan. But mine was good *shrug*

Curious quaint little Italian place, set in the center of the Fishkill village. The eats and setting are right for a nice comfortable meal. The menu has some classic Italian dishes that have been spun with some modern flares; nothing that I found to be too far of a reach. I’ve been for dinner twice and found the eats to be solid. There was no off menu specials either time I went but the main offerings were more than adequate and sometimes no additions is nice because I don’t feel so compelled to order away from the menu. The restaurant is set right on the run way of restaurant row in Fishkill and that makes parking a challenge so prepare yourself for that. The restaurant itself is a tiny eater with two interior rooms and some outside seating. I like small restaurants but some don’t, the volume level was fine in my opinion. I’ve eaten inside and out, the dining out front was nice, but worth noting you do sit directly adjacent to the road so it can be bustling depending on when your out there. I enjoyed my meal both times and the opening eggplant compote for the warmed bread is a refreshing start in lieu of butter. The food was solid and plating simple, nothing over the top or out of place. The restaurant overall had a different vibe, it feels like it wants to be a high end eatery but once inside was unexpectedly casual; however decide on that for yourself. For those that read my reviews I always like to give a note on the service and both time my experience was fine; neither of the servers nor the hostess seemed to be a seasoned pro. I would say the food out paced the service, which is not a harsh criticism but more an area of opportunity for the business. Overall, there is some very stiff competition in the area for evening dining so it falls down a bit only when compared to others in its class. I’ve not been disappointed in either of my trips and I doubt you would be either. While it doesn’t make my ‘hot list’ per se, I still think it’s worth your spend for a meal. The restaurant has lot of potential, I really like the homey setting and the food is there. I suggest you have a try and see if you experienced some of the same curiosities as I did in my otherwise enjoyable experience.

This my favorite restaurant in the Hudson Valley! Each time it feels like a trip to Italy! Savor the amazing dishes, like Branzino Livornese, Bistecca Centro Fileto, Polenta with mushrooms or the super scrumptious Antipasto platter! The wines are excellent and if you are lucky enough to have the very gracious and charming owner, Graziano, stop by your table, you can hear fascinating stories of the towns history and even a few stories of friendly ghosts lingering around to smell the enchanting cooking aromas and the delicious wines!

What a fantastic Sunday brunch! I am so happy to have found such incredible food coupled with amazing cocktails! Perfect selection and portions and you can tell that the chef truly cares about both the quality and presentation. Having been on 4 separate occasions and ordering different meals each time, they have solidified a repeat customer in me and I will continue to sing their praises. Looking forward to trying their dinner menu next!

Been here twice, nice quaint restaurant that used to be a house. Bar sits about 6 and they have about 2 or 3 small tables in there that sit 2. The dining room is divided in two, guess the old living room and dining room. Nice wooden floors. I’m just biased because I love colonial homes. Could be a little on the snug side for sitting side by side. They have multiple seats outside, in front of the place. The food here is good. I heard people complement the food as they walked out. Last time I was here I had the osso bucco from their dinner special and it was soooo soft and delicious, seasoned well. This time however, the pork I had wasn’t as great. Maybe it was my palate that day? Service and staff are excellent. You feel welcome here.

1st time dining at this wonderful restaurant and will be returning soon! We were a large group of 10 on the first night of restaurant week and we were treated like family. Our server, Leigh Ann, provided us with her expertise — attentive, helpful with wine selections, and timely. Meals were perfect as was the ambiance. Restaurant week choices were varied and welcomed by all. Owner was very courteous, greeted us warmly and escorted us as we left. AL Fresco is a great addition to «Restaurant Row».

If you’re going to offer burgers on your menu… YOUSHOULDHAVEKETCHUPINYOURKITCHEN. Duh. Otherwise, the other entrees were mediocre. We ordered multiple dishes. This establishment will definitely be out of business soon.

Yesterday, my friend and I enjoyed a wonderful lunch outside on the porch. Everything was perfect. The Caesar Salad with Grilled Salmon — delicious! The Muscles — excellent! This is my second time here and my friend’s first time — she will be returning with her husband, as I will again with mine. Looking forward to Sunday Brunch! This restaurant is delightful! Thank you Danielle!!!

Stopped in instinctively for dinner. Really liked what I saw. Talk about making chicken soup out of chicken you know what. They took a traditional old white house and made a charming little restaurant out of it. Outside dining is a plus. Waitstaff is top notch and ours even made our cocktail drinks. I noticed the menu had quite a similar overlap and cooking style to Il Barilotto right down the same street. In no way is that a bad thing though. Signature drinks are creative and definitely worth having. Service is very good and food came out quicker than I expected but was cooked very well. Extensive wine list. The only thing that threw me off was the house wine was more expensive than wines by the glass featured in the menu. Did not expect that on the bill. Highly recommend the pork chop and panna cotta if you have a sweet tooth for dessert.

Graziano Tassone’s dream come true … fine Italian dining from don Tassone has come to Dutchess County. My wife and I had a memorable meal with friends and Graziano made it a night to remember and it was truly a fine dining experience. The friendliness, ambiance and service were the best! Starting with the home made olives with the«good» olive oil and the fresh bread. my meal could have ended here and I would’ve been satisfied. From the calamari to the pasta sampler to the perfectly cooked scungilli with lentils to the lamb shank … and topped off with the tiramisu … excellent, excellent excellent. I recommend Al Fresco highly and will come again and again. Thank you Graziano …
