We got take out slices and it was completely flavorless. A white spinach pizza on the beach has the potential to be amazing… this was just bland and overpriced. I am usually forgiving with pizza, I know all pizza can’t be truly great NY/Philly style, but this pizza doesn’t even fall into the lesser-yet-still-ok pizza category, it just isn’t good at all.

Their pizza is out of this world! It’s the ONLY pizza I can eat without feeling yucky after. The waitstaff is friendly and the restaurant is very clean and tidy. For two I usually order a stromboli and greek salad to split. The stromboli usually comes with sausage but since I don’t like sausage they make mine to order… what great customer service!

Tried the pizza this time and it was good, but they used canned mushrooms, yuk! Stromboli was pretty good as was the garlic knots. Friendly service, had they used fresh mushrooms I would have given them 4 stars.

I’ve been coming to Joseph’s ever since I was a kid, and I’m pleased to say that the restaurant has matured along with me. A few years ago they completely redid the interior, and it’s now clean, well-decorated, and they(thankfully) axed the old buffet line. It’s pertinent to point out that there’s nothing particularly original here – you’ll find pretty stereotypical Italian fare(though there’s occasionally something really interesting, like pear and cheese-stuffed ravioli, on the specials board). But the pizza is great – thin crust, awesome sauce – and the pasta is well-cooked; you’d be surprised at how many places screw up al dente. I just checked back in a few nights ago during our annual FL pilgrimage, and the penne ala vodka is still delicious. My one complaint is that they prominently advertise that all pasta dishes can be made with whole-wheat pasta, and yet when I asked for whole-wheat penne, they didn’t seem to have any.(Looks like your only whole wheat option may be spaghetti.)

Right across the street from the pier so we chose to sit outside, there were 2 tables that were great for people watching. Wanted a quick meal and the waitress was excellent. Did not get pizza but a cheese steak and chicken fingers that were out in a jiffy and made for a good quick meal. Very attentive and friendly. Nice and clean inside as well. I’d recommend. If it was later in the day we might have enjoyed a slice or a meal.

If I was rating this restaurant of the friendliness of the staff and the location, they would get 5 stars easily. the food on the other hand is … okay. Nothing spectacular. It’s good after a day at the beach, but definitely not worth the 30 minute drive for me. I have been on the search for a good pizza in the Daytona/Ormond/Flagler area now for two months or so and cannot say that I have found a restaurant that serves a delicious slice of pie. I had a few people that recommended this place so that was convincing enough for a sucker like me. Sure, if more than two people like it, i should too. I did not mind the pizza. It was mediocre. The house salad was fresh and their homemade italian vinaigrette was actually delicious. It’s a nice place, full of friendly people and that was good enough for me. But will I try their pizza again? probably not

The pizza is good, the meat stuffed pizza is great, but I was completely put off by tables stacked with dirty dishes and food. There were more dirty tables than seated tables, and they remained dirty for our entire meal. I can’t help wondering if the front of the store looks like this what does the back look like. This was my 5th visit, my husband likes the food, but I think we’ll pass until they start paying attention to the details.

Had a really good meal here. We had three calzone/strombolis and a meatball sub. Staff was super friendly and the food was really good. Most of the menu is the same old pizza and pasta dishes, but what they lack in originality they made up for in taste and service. Place looked really nice inside, clean.

Wow, that was the second best stromboli I have ever had! And I have been searching for the perfect stromboli since my college days. Friendly people. I will be back. I’ve been told they have the best pizza in Flagler County, but I haven’t had it yet. If the sauce and cheese and dough used int he stromboli is any indicator, I am sure it will be great! Not a late-night place; they close at 9:00 :(
