First time here and this place is SOO good! Had a buffalo chicken pita and it’s been one of the greatest things that’s gone in my belly. Definitely recommend this place as it’s located in downtown Flagstaff and the staff are very friendly. Definitely coming back next time I’m in Flagstaff.

In my opinion this is one of the worst pita pits of all time. The manager is incredibly hard to deal with and cannot even properly use simple words such as «but» in a sentence. As much as I like pita pit I would not recommend this particular location, you’re honestly better off driving to Phoenix if you absolutely insist on getting your pita on. ½ a star.

Quick and healthy? I think so. I was surprised by my total bill. This is basically fast food with a little more freshness. However, the price tag makes it seem as though it is more than fast food but it is not. If you have the time seek slower, similar quality establishments and you will likely spend the same plus a tip.

The sign is attractive but arrived at the counter the staff prepares pita neglected without enthusiasm. No choice as pitas, no food, no salad. We ordered the Gyro pita served cold, tasteless and unappetizing. Avoid at all costs!

This place was soooo good! We came here seeking a meal that was healthy and delicious, and they did not disappoint! This is a definite«go-to» spot when in Flagstaff. I just wish we had these in Cali!

I had to write a review about this place because when we arrived here around 10:30pm-ish the store was empty and very quiet. We made it in just before they closed but as soon as we walked in we were greeted by very polite and friendly faces! I was surprised at how professional everyone was, especially at such a late hour on the weekend. The guys took our orders and explained patiently whatever questions I had for them. Before we knew it our orders were ready and we took them to eat in the car. After we opened them up and took our first bites, we were floored by how tasty it was. Honestly, we had little expectations for this place but we loved our pitas! Thanks to the young guys working here who showed some impressive work ethic and pita-making skills. You filled out tummies and delighted our buds with some nice food to go on our drive into Arizona.

The customer service here is great! They helped me pick out a meal: filling but healthy. The meal was okay, but I couldn’t get past the grainy-ness in their wheat pita. I threw a third of my meal away… Id try again with their normal pita.

Pita pit has always been a welcoming establishment with friendly faces and late night comforts. This restaurant is my first choice when strolling through downtown or a 2am snack. Every employee is more than happy to serve it up any way you like! Eli in particular has been a longtime worker at pita pit and has become a smiling face who keeps me coming back! Him and his coworker Heather were super helpful with all of our dietary restrictions and questionable toppings. Pita pit and their crew make every meal an enjoyable experience every time! Thank you!

Nice staff nice food. The fact that they stay open until 2AM on a Tuesday night is flipping amazing in my book. Even though the food is so I wish we had one of these back home.

The staff was always friendly and patient with me when I, and most other late night folks, show up here drunk. That’s all the good I can come up with for establishment. I stopped going here 2 years ago after eating the worst falafel pita that has ever been created. To quote my own Unilocal tip«What an unadulterated waste of money. I will never go back here. I just paid $ 7 for a crap salad wrapped in a cold, stale pita that this place passes off as the worlds most pathetic falafel. Save your money. This is low rent food for the stoned and drunk, and even they will be disappointed.» I have never eaten here in the daytime or when I was sober, but I can’t imagine it gets better if either of those factors is satisfied. After leaving the local bars, I admit I’ve made poor food decisions. I’ve been seduced by the lights and the vague smells of edible food coming from this place. Once inside this place, it’s like Subway’s ethnic, cheap cousin, with the similar low quality meats, raw toppings, and chemical sauces. The pita bread is a disgrace to carbohydrates. It isn’t warmed or steamed to give it the chewiness that a pita demands. It’s more like snapping into a dry slim jim, or breaking off a piece of cool taffy. They are always generous with the gobs of lettuce, pungent raw onion, and overpowering green bell pepper, but stingy with the meat and cheese. If you want lunch or a quick dinner in downtown Flagstaff, please go to one of the many other viable restaurants in the downtown area that are open for business. If it’s late, try Primo’s, Greek Islands, the food truck in the alley near pita pit, or the hot dog stand if it’s summer.

Excellent for late night munchies! Everything is good and the business is clean with good staff on board. Healthy options, veg options, and lots of toppings to add. I love the club pita and I’m not gonna lie, I love a big glop of the tzatziki(sp?).

This place has been a go-to spot since I came back to Flagstaff! The food is great, the hours are really convenient(especially after a night of drinking), they make the food in front of you and have it done in no time, and it is quality food. The only setback is that when I tried calling to place a deliver at the beginning of the week, no one picked up. I called about three times and didn’t get a hold of anyone and even after I went in the next day in person to confirm if they deliver, they said yes. Sorry guys, one of my favorite places to eat, but the delivery problem is that, a problem.

Very fresh and quite delicious. Staff was very friendly and genuinely cared. They were very eager to spark up a conversation and see how your day is going. Just genuine compassion. Very hard to find and was a delightful surprise. I am glad we stopped in!

Pretty standard. They are open late and have friendly service. They gave me some pretty questionable chicken once though.

I wish I could make a half star… I was the sober driver for the night and I have never had this bad of service in my life… The girl with the green hair was the worst employee I’ve ever had the displeasure of encountering. She was snobby and extremely unprofessional. She treated us with the utmost disrespect. I will make sure that none of my friends ever go here. If your employees don’t want or like their jobs at the night shift they shouldn’t be working there. All of the guys working were more than helpful and extremely nice! Unfortunately it takes just one person to ruin an experience! Count me out of this place.

I feel everything with lettuce gets stuffed with too much lettuce. I ordered a BLT for delivery and it seemed quite soggy. I also wish they used whole leaf lettuce instead of shredded. I have no problems when I order on site, but I don’t recommend delivery. Open late, I have no other option but to eat here as it has somewhat reasonable prices. Grinodilla’s in the alley is THE best place in Flagstaff(also only open late) but it is pricey probably due to taxes(thanks, Obama).

The place itself may not be much to look at, but the sandwiches are amazing and the service is friendly! It’s a good spot to people watch from a window seat, as it’s on the busy corner of Aspen & San Francisco. What you get here is a pita bread sandwich– made to order– with fresh meats that they put on the grill, veggies, and sauces. I had a chicken breast pita($ 5.50), and topped mine with spinach, romaine, tomatoes, onions, feta, and tzatziki sauce. It was very fresh and delicious! My son had a philly cheesesteak pita, which he also greatly enjoyed. It’s not going to set you back much more to eat here than a place like subway. You’ll smile when you realize that the quality at Pita Pit far exceeds what you get in most fast food sandwich shops.

Great location and perfect for quick eats. The staff was way laid-back and indie, which was perfect for this town, which makes me fondly think of Flagstaff as the love child of Austin and San Francisco. I heart Flagstaff and I heart Pita Pit.

Great location, stays open late, but I really don’t like this place. The food isn’t good and I’m anti-chain restaurant, especially in historic downtown Flagstaff. I really wish a different late night non-chain restaurant would open up here instead. If looking for late night eats I recommend Primo’s on the south side. There needs to be a new north of the tracks late night eatery! If I’m missing one let me know.
