We happened upon the MIX for breakfast when another we were looking for was closed. I was so impressed. They got our special orders for kids correct and there were a lot of changes. The food was fresh and was very good! We loved the French toast– which was more like bread pudding. The pancakes were amazing and the egg scramble was also top notch. I would recommend the Mix anytime!

My son and I ate breakfast here and it was good. I ordered the standard breakfast stuff — 2 eggs over easy with fruit, wheat toast and sausage patty. Any place that can’t make this well shouldn’t be running a restaurant. This placed passed. :-)
Most of the staff were friendly as well.

Really great place! I’ve been here twice for breakfast when I visited Flagstaff. Food is fantastic! Portions are big — so go when you are hungy! Service is fantastic! The staff is friendly and quick!
I look forward to going there again! I wish they opened another location closer to the Phoenix area. (Hint hint if the owner reads my review!)

As an out-​of-​towner I depend on reviews to tell me what’s good when I travel. Believe me when I tell you this place is worth stopping for! We came for breakfast and the options are delicious and diner-​worthy. I got the deep dish French toast, shortcake style with strawberries and almond cream cheese. Simply delicious! My husband got the Carmel apple stack which was also good, though we both agreed the French toast was better. Perfectly cooked hash browns and bacon as sides. Coffee was also good, so good my husband forwent sugar in his and just enjoyed the flavor. First cup was lukewarm, the urns must have been out for awhile and almost drained. They restocked and the hot stuff was delicious. Tucked inside a little shopping center, you have to go into the mall to find this place. It’s worth a stop for breakfast or brunch for sure!

Awesome place. The Breakfast is very good and so are the mimosas (if only they served breakfast all day!). The sandwiches and salad are just the right amount, and also delicious. Staff is very friendly and the service is fast. The only drawback is sometimes it gets so busy and crowded, but the food makes up for it. This place is definitely worth a visit!

We are in town for a night and decided to give his place a try. I was hoping for breakfast but they only serve it in the morning. I decided to build my own salad instead. They had a wonderful selection and I ended up with one of the best salads ever. My daughter, who also loves salads, decided to build her own. I love that that was an option for the kids meals!!!
When my daughter grabbed her salad and put it on the table, I noticed a hair in it. I walked it back up to the counter and showed the staff, who immediately took it away to remake her salad. That was all I wanted, but the wonderful staff proceeded to comp her meal, which was appreciated. A few minutes later the manager came by to apologize again and gave us 2 free meal tickets. They went above and beyond and that level of service is amazing! I look forward to trying the breakfast!

A little hard to find, so we called and we were just outside the mall where it is located. My husband and I were impressed with the friendly, personalized service. The food was absolutely delicious. We had the veggie omelette and the banana rum not pancakes. We shared both entrees and had the hashbrowns on the side with fruit. If we lived in Flagstaff we would make this a go to breakfast splurge. Maybe on occasions as we’re driving through we will have to pop in, for some delicious breakfast!

I give this place two stars and two stars Bc the waiters were friendly. I found a piece of hair in my salad. The strand of hair was definitely not mine as I am African American and the strand of hair definitely was no where close in resemblance to my hair. My hubby noticed that the servers /​food preps did not where a hair net and did not have their hair pulled back.
Additionally, they have a limited lunch menu… except you can create your own salad. I was also disappointed when we arrived and realized that this wasn’t an actual separate restaurant but more of a food court style place with a lot of traffic so it didn’t seem private.

We went during peak, so it was busy. Great breakfast and coffee! They have a section for their regular customers to put their order in too. Really neat. Kind of hidden inside the building with other shops.

Just finished eating breakfast at this wonderful place. It was hided in the old town shop. The apple pancake was amazing! The sweet dressing with walnuts with very special pancake was very tasty. It was different from the other plain pancake Mix with syrup that I have eaten in the other American style breakfast restaurant. The omelette was full of sliced baked and sausage. The fruits have lots of varieties: strawberry, grapes, kiwi and tangerine. The house brewed coffee has all kinds of milk available: almond milk, soy milk, skim, while and half and half.

Extremely Unprofessional. No seating. Rude staff, that is unwilling to accommodate to go orders «at this time» although they usually do.
There were only about 6 people in front of us when we arrived, but we were waiting 10 minutes without moving, so we left. I tried to call in a to go order and was sent to voicemail 3 times, the fourth time I got an answer and was told that they do take to go orders, but just not right now. Why? He said they were too busy! I don’t understand how having SIX people in line is that stressful!
While I was waiting I ordered an overpriced Divinity coffee which was way too frothy… it was supposed to be coffee, not a freaking cappuccino. And they don’t use real tea for their Chais, they have a green syrup that is «supposed» to taste like tea…

Service-​excellent. Everyone was so cheery and happy and grateful.
Food-​Amazing and in big portions! House potatoes were delicious, so was the toast, so was the mama’s omelet. That sauce in there… mmmm, yes.
When you go up to order they ask you a lot of questions. haha but what kind of butter?! That raspberry butter is the bomb. I’ll take another one please so I can smother it all over my toast.

Holy cow. You guys. If you are in Flagstaff and you want breakfast, this place is an absolute MUST. The atmosphere kind of reminded me of a food court to be totally honest. MIX is located in a building that houses a handful of clothing shops, a BBQ place, and some really nice public restrooms. We came here based on the great reviews it has here and on Google. Let me tell you: the service was above and beyond pretty much any place I’ve ever been. The employees were super friendly and helpful. They were able (and willing) to make suggestions on food. I got «Moms Cheese» in an omelette formation with whole grain toast and it was phenomenal. It’s been about a week since I’ve been in and I’m still thinking about how good it was. It actually had slightly less cheese than I thought it would (not complaining, just noting). We would absolutely come back.

We had just returned from backpacking the Grand Canyon and we were looking for something light to eat for dinner. We found Mix on our search. They have healthy sandwiches, salads, and wraps. You grab an order form, indicate what you want, and hand it to the person at the counter. We split a BLT on pretzel bread… holy smokes it was delicious. They piled it high with tons of bacon. When we placed our order and told her we were splitting it, she offered to cut it for us and even asked if we wanted an extra pickle.
Tables are seat yourself. We sat at a table that we could see the people walking around the little market place. Our total for one sandwich, chips, and two drinks was $ 15.00. Cute eatery, great food, excellent service.

Excellent! We stopped in for breakfast right as they were switching to lunch and served us breakfast anyway. So delicious! I had the Strawberry Short Stack. Not too sweet — just perfect. Great flavor.
Portions are large easy to share. Kids meals perfect portion.
We will be back.
