Table Rock Apartments

First of all, the outside of this apartment complex does not look bad at all UNTIL you see the damages in the apartment itself. Nothing is fixed, move in day was a disappointment just as Adam F. stated in the other review. Too overpriced for what you get unless you’re happy with such low standards and damages EVERYWHERE. You can get $ 300 – 400 less for rent with a better apartment home especially somewhere else who actually cares about where you are leasing. Wished I never signed the lease, I wasn’t taken seriously especially when they would call one person on the lease about whatever they needed and I was always the last to hear if the other person would even mention anything. Went to the office so many times because no one ever picks up; been talked to as if I did’n’t know a damn thing the manager would cut me off within five seconds at most. Being approved or not was another hassle, they wanted $ 300 to reserve and not have a tour for the apartments yeah no thanks. Barely gives us any warning about late rent? At least give us a call. Didn’t even hear us out. Just said you’ll be evicted and sued in five days thanks again for not communicating with us. Too much one sided issues. Miscommunication and hassles were found every month. Thank goodness our lease is done. All they wanted was your hard working money no matter what was the situation if you were right or wrong. I just couldn’t stand it for a whole year! If it was half the price I still wouldn’t even take it. Hell if it was free housing I wouldn’t take it. HIGHLY DO NOT RECOMMEND.

This apartment complex has recently gotten a new owner and the customer service towards to residents is TERRIBLE. My first experience with them was when I had to call multiple times for maintenance on the falling apart apartment. The first time they came in a timely manner and fixed everything and were extremely nice. That same day, something they had fixed had broken again (the screen of a window fell out). I called again the next day to ask for a replacement. They came a few days later to put it back in but ended up breaking the frame of the screen so I had to wait a few more days for replacements to come in. At the same time they had fixed a toilet which had broken in the meantime. That same day the toilet broke again. We called AGAIN to have maintenance come AGAIN (3 times in 2 weeks). At which point the front office had accused us of breaking the toilet, when my roommates had not used it any differently than in the past year they had lived there. After they came and fixed it, it broke again 2 more times, every time it was used. We are still in the process of figuring out the toilet issue but it looks like my we’re going to have to plunge the (ancient) toilet every time it is used. That same week, my roommates and I went into the leasing office to pay our rent and renew our lease (I am a new resident taking over their previous roommates lease). We first asked to get a spare mail key since we had lost ours. The worker tells us «yeah…sorry… that’s the only key». So what, we’re supposed to not have a mail key and never get our mail? She offered for us to come into the office every time and use their spare, but what about when the office isn’t open? Which is when I usually check my mail since I am usually working while the office is open. She was being very snappy to these questions and offered us no other option. You really can’t go to Wal-​Mart and make a copy? Then, she had asked us if it was the same three residents staying in the apartment and all three of us didn’t hear her so we just nodded our head or something. Later, we pointed out that I was a new resident so she (extremely rudely) asked us why we said yes when we were asked about that. We explained that we didn’t understand her but it wasn’t like we were lying, we told her that we had a new resident before we even saw the new lease. So she very dramatically threw the lease she just printed in the trash and told me I need to fill out an application. I then asked her if she had any applications and any response afterwards was filled with attitude and extremely rude. I had told her straight out at that point that she was being rude to which she replied, «WELL YOU’RE TECHNICALLY TRESPASSING RIGHT NOW SINCE YOU HAVEN’T SIGNED A LEASE!» Ok? So are you going to call the cops on me and have me escorted out? What was the point of saying that. To excuse your rudeness? Not acceptable. I have been paying the rent for the past two months waiting for the time to sign a new lease with my name on it, because otherwise I would have been homeless for those two months and the room would’ve been empty and not paid for. I am very disappointed with the customer service with these new owners and will be looking for a new place to live once I can.

Our lease was to start in August, which is why I was quite optimistic when we signed it in April; they already had our apartment number and everything. I was wrong to be optimistic, as I soon found out, because not only was the apartment filthy (even though we paid a cleaning fee with our security deposit), there were multiple appliances that didn’t work. To name a few: the stove, the oven, and the dryer. The screen door didn’t work well either, and there was a towel rack that was completely off the wall in one of the bathrooms. Thank God we were able to get out of our lease, because living there for three days was three days too long.
DO NOT MOVE INTO THIS APARTMENT!

When my roommates and I signed our lease for this place, we were optimistic that this would be a great place to live. Boy were we disappointed on move-​in day. Usually, the first day of the lease you do an inventory on what is broken and what’s not. The inventory paper we had to make went far too long. The apartment was not clean, doors could not close, the kitchen sink leaked, the stove and the burner did not work, and the keys they gave us did not work. In addition, the apartment had no way of cooling itself; the fans and opening the windows only made it work. Needless to say, we were beyond not satisfied. We asked to have all the broken stuff fixed on the first day, but the person in the office said they were about to close and they would handle it two days later. Well, two days later we went into the office and broke our lease. At least the manager understood and allowed us to break it without much consequences.
The apartment is operated on a property which also houses lower-​income families. If you are a college student or someone looking for quality, this is not the place to live in at all. It is worth it to pay a little bit more and have far greater quality in the apartment complexes into the city.
