I travel to Flagstaff once a year and always stop at Vino Loco! The best place in town to find a great bottle of wine and enjoy a glass or two. Featuring a great selection of wines to take home as well as savor in the company of friends. It is a comfortable, friendly upscale wine bar with great service. Always popular with both the tourists and friendly locals, it’s a great place to unwind and enjoy wine tastings, cheese plates and comfortable indoor and outdoor seating.

We stopped in on a Sunday afternoon to try some wine at the bar. Very neat environment, definite winery look and feel(although they are just a wine bar, not a winery). I’m not a wine drinker at all but our«bartender» knew just about anything we had a question on and my wife thoroughly enjoyed it, being a wino herself. I was able to find some wine that I enjoyed with some help. They had plenty to choose from and a good flight option of pick three to try. Great time, will visit again whenever in the area and looking for a glass of wine, or two.

The vibe is great, the selection pretty solid, and while the service cange range from ‘okay’ to excellent depending on the bartender and the day(Weston, Gabriel, and Ventha get 5-stars, and the other guy who’s name I keep forgetting after knowing him for 3 years is pretty good too, but not as knowledgeable.) It’s easy to walk in and get a recommendation, and a good one to your tastes if you’re a regular. The wine club deal is also excellent. It is my number-one go-to spot in town. You can get table service to have your bottle opened but you usually have to ask for it when you get your bottle. It’s not a full-service restaurant and the bartenders don’t have time to be full-on waiters and maintain everything else they have to do. Cheer and happy drinking.

This is such a great spot! Large bottle selection, friendly service(Emma rocks!), and great prices. Came in and tried the $ 12 wine flight(three 2oz pours), and was really impressed by the quality. The by-the-glass options are clearly carefully vetted and selected by the staff, they were all great. Flight comes out in a cool wine-glass holder and the bartender used marker to write on the glass base which was which, great touch! BF opted for the Badass Blend, which is made in house. I specifically recommend the moscato(only one on the menu, fruity but not too sweet) and the $ 15/glass napa cab. Food is limited: they have some cheeses available for snacking with your wine, but beyond that, they seem to be partnered with a local hot dog business to provide some grub. Interior is cozy, corkage fee is low($ 4?), and there is patio seating in front and around the side of the building. Cozy ambiance, attentive and knowledgeable service. Wish I could come here regularly!

stopped in for what was planned as a quick drink while wandering around downtown Flagstaff. was In no way prepared for the infectious band they had playing on that Friday night, selection of wines and fun atmosphere of this cozy shop. a quick drink turned into a few quick drinks and a return visit the next night. if you haven’t stopped by this place it is worth your time. also a shoutout to downtown dogs not door great perk of the shop

We’re from the SF Bay area and frequent Napa and Sonoma regularly. We loved Vino Loco. They have a great selection of wine and a lovely patio so we could sit outside. This will be a place we’ll visit whenever we’re in town.

My boyfriend came here one night and split a bottle of wine. We were out on the patio and the bartender locked us out because it was after they closed. Talk about rude customer service!

When we walk in ready to buy & no one even says hello or after 15 mins of looking for a bottle even looks in our direction to help, we walked out. Obviously they don’t need the business.,

Our favorite little wine bar in flag. Great selection of wines and not expensive. Great cheese plates to pair with the wine of your choice. House wines are really great and cheapest, but check out and taste as many as you can :) cute little outside patio to relax and enjoy yourself

Knowledgeable and friendly staff, good selection, and great atmosphere. The inky place in town I can ask them to pick me out a red to drink based in my mood and the staff gets it right every time. Also, their new patio is a great addition to the space.

This place had 2 customers when we walked in. The server asked if we needed help while we perused the bottled wine selection, looking for a local wine for a gift. After we selected it, we sat at the bar to order a glass of wine. The same server was restocking a shelf right next to us and ignored us for 5 minutes while she arranged the retail items. Huh? We had one glass of wine and won’t be back. Two other customers who entered after we were there got the same lousy service.

Great location on the corner… so swing in here and enjoy a glass of wine. :) Really nice selection of whites and reds available by the glass. Plus they have like 200 different bottles of wine you can buy to enjoy there or to take home. Again… a wide variety to choose from. They have a bar to sit at and sip and swirl some wines… or you can sit at a high top table… they have several to choose from. While we were there sitting at the bar, chatting with the wine-tender and a nice couple we met from Texas… we saw a local group having a meeting. Good idea… meet to take care of business or get some planning done over a nice glass of vino. The vibe is relaxed and welcoming. They have some«local» wines… from Arizona and Colorado that are not your norm and are very nicely priced… Good Value … meaning good quality for a good price… and easy to drink… I purchased a couple bottles to take home. The next time we are passing through Flag… I plan on coming here again. :)

Tessa and Samantha rock! We really enjoy coming here. It is a must stop each time we visit our vacation home here. Great prices, amazing service and good selection. Call ahead and they’ll chill a bottle of your choice.

We stopped by here after dinner for a glass of wine, but decided to do the 3 tastings instead. The girl pouring was friendly, informative, and gave us a really nice pour. We also checked out the wine for purchase, and they have a great selection in every price range. If we lived in the area, this would be are«go to» place for a glass of wine.

Super cute shop with a decent selection of wines by the glass as well as retail to take home. Bonus for having Epic beers, which are my absolute favorites. We had great seats on the patio where we met lots of friendly people and were able to comfortably hang out with the babies(even met another awesome family out there!). It was pretty busy around 8 on a Friday night(there was some live entertainment going on in the square), but we had no issues with service. Bonus for a guy playing guitar inside. I thought Hops on Birch next door looked pretty cool, but their 18 year old bouncer(or whoever he was) was totally douchey — accused us of stealing their glasses and then warned us that we shouldn’t have kids there because the crowd from HoB might be rude.

Great spot to have a glass of wine and relax in downtown flagstaff. We were there on a very quiet Saturday night downtown but even though it wasn’t super crowded in there it didn’t feel awkward or empty at all, just cozy and intimate. The bartender helped me find a sparkling white wine that I really enjoyed. We also split a cheese board with three cheeses. If you go and they have the smoked Gouda get it, it’s delicious. The live music was also really great, overall a perfect evening.

I like the place — the wine selection is good, both by the glass and bottle, and so is the beer-on-tap selection considering there are only four. More beer in the fridge extends your choices to some really interesting items. Pricing is very fair e.g. The Arizona wines are the same or less than you can get them for at the vineyard, and beer pints for $ 4 is average to good for non-happy hour downtown flag. The staff is friendly and when/if they don’t have the greatest wine chops they make up for with it with enthusiasm. The owner on the other hand knows his stuff even though he looks like he’s still in college(I’m just jealous, wish I’d had the cojones to open a place like this at that age). It’s pretty quiet most nights, so I like to go solo with work to do or something to read. The definate exceptions to the rule are first friday of the month art walks, and 3rd Monday of the month tasting nights when you can get 5 courses catered and matched with wine. They are both popular nights for good reason. Septembers’ theme was Argentina, October is California.

Honestly, this place was fantastic. My girlfriend and I did a wine tasting here and for $ 9 each we tasted like three full glasses of wine. That was bitchin’. Afterward, she and I split a bottle of almond champagne and it was only like $ 14. They had it chilled in the bar already and let us drink it inside without charging us a $ 5 corking fee like they did at the Wine Loft. It was funny, I went in and a guy there said, «Hey, I made your drinks this morning,» and I recognized him from working at Macy’s. «And now my girlfriend is gonna serve you wine!» Really, really nice servers here. I wish they served a cheese platter :-)

Great selection of wines to drink there or to take away. Bartender was super nice and gave us a great rec. for the best Thai place in Flagstaff. We took a bottle to go, but would totally come back here to sit and have a glass of wine. They also have a selection of fudge from a local vendor. Try the red velvet fudge. WOW.
