I stopped in for lunch on a Sunday. It wasn’t busy and I loved all the colorful tables and chairs. I have been challenging myself to eat more vegetarian meals, but I didn’t see any real veggie options on the menu(I am sure they had the typical bean burrito, but I didn’t see it). I asked if I could substitute the meat for black beans on the Speedy Gonzalas, which is a taco and an enchilada. She assured me that would be fine as long as they had the beans. Mission success! They looked great. The enchilada sauce was delicious and the taco was basic and very simple. I recommend asking for the spicy salsa. Is has very minimal spice, but is still tasty. Service was quick and kind.

Took me a while to get there the first time but I realized that was a mistake. Some of the best Mexican food around.

Only tried once so far, food was really good but not special, service a bit slow, a tad pricier than my preferred Mexican restaurant. However never like to base complete opinion on one visit, will try again. Location is great.

I hardly ever eat Mexican food. But my friend wanted it so I picked up carry out from here. Ordered a Mexican pizza, guacamole, and some kind of chicken/beef burrito supreme dish. We also got chips and salsa with our food. I had the Mexican pizza and thought it was pretty good! And you can’t go wrong with guac. Prices are Good. I would order from here again!

I have driven by a handful of times but really wasn’t interested in trying this place until I saw great reviews in a Facebook group. I was a little nervous when I walked in, it’s very colorful and crammed with tables. The menu is huge so it took awhile to go through it all, I was overwhelmed so I went with a few staples. THEFOODISDELICIOUS! I believe the owner brought it out and made sure we had everything we needed. Nice guy! The server kinda lost interest towards the end and I think you go up to the register for the bill. We took a take out menu so I can look at all the yummy options and make a decision for the next time we go.

Don’t judge the place by the décor! The food is really good, and the staff is very attentive. All the food tastes fresh, not from a can! My wife and I will definitely return!(Great salsa too)

Really great looking handcrafted tables and chairs. Service was prompt and polite. Food was really good! Had beef burritos. Yummy! Came on hot plates so it stayed warm. Great salsa with just the right amount of cilantro! Try this place out!

Great food will definitely return based on the food alone. Service was not terrible, but not great. We did walk in when it seemed a busy time, but took awhile to take our order and wait staff hardly stop by to ask if we needed anything or to fill our drinks.

Located on the SE corner of Telegraph & Vreeland, with driveways off each road. Upon entering, the décor made me grin. It is colorful(see Dave H’s review, so I don’t repeat) and a delight to my eyes. We, arrived around 430 and were seated immediately. Our server arrived with our beverages within a minute of ordering. The menu is extensive. I ordered Carne Asada and my husband ordered Chimichangas, which arrived within 5 minutes of ordering(this is beginning to sound like Dave H’s review, but we don’t know each other. My husband noted that the hostess was wiping down each page of the menus. The food was delicious, and my SoCal-raised husband pronounced it authentic. They accept all major credit cards. They’ve been open 3 months. Give them a try — I doubt you’ll be disappointed. Next time, I want to sit in the booth with the bas relief horses.

Let me start with the food. Unbelievably good. I would have mentioned the names of the dishes we ordered but they apparently don’t have a POS system. Bill is given as a calculator tape. *edit: I grabbed a carry out menu on the way out. Quest Fundido was much like the previous review. Very runny. However after letting it sit, it cooled down and the cheese thickened. Very good! I had the el molcejeta. It was the first time trying this dish. I didn’t know what to expect. It also was very good. The rest of the family had traditional Mexican dishes. No one had any complaints about the food. Now for the issues we had. It was so cold I was shivering. No I didn’t ask to turn the temperature up so that is my fault. Our waitress was awful. We had to ask for refills of water and when I did she refilled Mir and ignored everyone else’s empty glass. Then when the appetIzer came we had to ask for more silverware since they only provided two settings. Then we still had to ask for plates so we could share the appetizer. I guess we must be demanding customers? The bill was another issue. We tried to figure it out when we got home and believe we were overcharged by approximately $ 5. And finally let me mention the décor. It is nice and colorful but for my ADHD self, it was very hard to concentrate and eat. I took my food home to finish. Would I try it again? Maybe. But honestly I may just go to Amigos next time.

Stopped in today for the first time since they’ve been open. I was seated within 30 seconds of walking in the door and a waitress dropped off chips and salsa to me about 20 seconds later. My drink came about a minute later and the waitress came by twice to check on me while I was deciding. Once I placed my order, yes I was ding alone, my food arrived in about five minutes. The food, I had a lunch special, included a taco, rice and a chimichanga. While it wasn’t perfect it was all good. I was out the door with a $ 6.35 price tag before tip. Can’t beat that. Décor is a bit loud, but cool. Every chair in the place and each booth are custom designed and different than the rest. The tables all have custom paint work and the bar has a huge mural on it. They were quite busy as I stopped in around noon, so I was surprised to get the super fast service I did. I’ll definitely be back.

No no no! First of all, speaking with a caucasian server for lunch i found out that there js no computer system, and not only do they have to write out their tickets but they have to write them in spanish! This poor girl jad no clue how tk read or write spanish. She also said they would not give her a menu to study and was asked to run the bar with no formal training!!! Ive never felt so bad for a server who had done nothing wrong!!! Secondly the only thing i enjpyed was the Fido Soup which is mexican noodles(see picture) and a tomato and chicken broth… had a lil spice to it. i added chips to make it crunchy… Wr ordered the Queso Fundido as an app. There cheese was not a creamy, stretchy stick to ur insides good cheese… it was the consistency of a watered down alfredo sauce and tasted like it. The meat was on top and extremely dry even after being mixed in! I ordered a steak fajita taco salad and the veggies and steak had NO taste… it was literally boiled veggies and meat. My mom ordered a enchilada supreme for 10.00 with no beans or rice Would u like another chip and hot sauce? After the first one they charge! Only about 2 oz of hot sauce so enjoy! The salsa is good thi Plates came out dirty… im just so sad… i had heard the service was bad when a MANAGER waited on my uncle. Yep the manager came out and got his order and then forgot to put it in… when he got to work he had beans and rice with no tacos… but he said jt was good so we tried it… Stay away go to 3 herminos in gibraltar!

I wish we could of tasted the food, but as we sat with chips and salsa with no water or drink of any kind for 15 minutes it was time to leave. No hostess to greet you so you stand waiting while customers stare at you. Never knew who our waitress was, the customers beside us were complaining about the service and there food. There were plenty of empty tables so it wasn’t that busy. I get that they are a new business and they need to work out some problems, but it was very obvious that the owner was trying to cut corners to make money right away. Please read the menu carefully. If you want a refill on your chips and salsa its .99 cents. I have never been to a Mexican restaurant that charges you. I just don’t see us going back even if the food is good.

Place is extremely busy but the waitstaff is very inexperienced and slow it seems to be overwhelming to them, now onto the food I must say We have been waiting awhile for this place to open since it’s really close to the house and we love Mexican food so the anticipation was exciting … Now I ordered carry out for the wife, my sister and I simple enough meal 3 beef tacos, a loaded order of beef and bean nachos and a Verde enchilada meal with a side beef and bean burrito got the order home after waiting nearly 35 minutes for carry out upon opening the verde enchiladas were pretty good but the portions are very small which explains the low cost for dinner, now we were missing tacos and my wife’s nachos came with just meat and bean nothing and I mean nothing else, she returned to the grande they remade them the way they were supposed to be just how I ordered them the first time. All in all the food is okay not the best but not the worst I’ve ever had, portion sizes are definitely on the small size but filling, I would hope they improve on their service skills with time and experience. We will give them another chance at a later date just not real soon so they can get some time in.
