Kings Highway Train Station

One Of The Better Stations In Brooklyn. You Got The «B» That Runs Express (Weekdays Only) To The City & The «Q» That Runs Local To The City. With The Rehabilitation That Was Done In 2009-​11, The Station Was Given A More Newer Look. One Of The Newer Additions Added To The Station During The Rehab Was The ADA Elevators Which Not Only Complied With The Americans With Disabilities Act But It Made It Easier For People Who Are Handicapped, In A Wheelchair, Disabled etc… Have Easier Access To The Mezzanine & Platforms. Another Good Thing Is That There Are A lot Of Buses To Connect To Like The B3, B7, B82 & The B100. Unfortunately Wait Times Can Be A Pain If You Missed Your Train & During The Cold & Summer Time And On Top Of That The «B» Only Runs On Weekdays.

More amenities than your average BQ line station: staffed booth, 24 – 7 open, 3 entrances, 24 turnstiles total, 2 radiant heating stands, 2 elevators, half of platform area is covered, Optimum Wifi (stronger on uptown end), overall very clean (especially the platforms thanks to regular staff cleaning)

After working a 12 hr shift the last thing you want to do is run up to a platform and just miss the train. When im super lazy and tired the elevator welcomes me with open arms (or doors). The station itself smells like piss and has just as much garbage on the tracks as a public bathroom has on the floor (i dont know how or why people have thrown condoms on the tracks). While waiting for the train i have seen many people shoot snot out of their nose. It really lightens the mood and grosses me out at the same time. Please please please. whatever you do… do NOT stand in front of the train car doors when people are about to exit. The people will not move out of the way for you and the train doors will mos def not open any faster. Stop holding up traffic and stand about 2 feet away from the door… unless you want someone to curse you out for your stupidity… which happens alot

Nothing spectacular about this stop except the its a nice spot for pics and justvtaking in brooklyn. An endless flow of people going about their day.
