Community First Credit Union

This is my «usual» Community First location. The only complaint I have is that the parking lot can get busy and it’s a pain to have to parking 10 spots out just to use the ATM. I wish they would open a location near here with a drive thru.
I’ve been banking with Community First for around 5 years now and I couldn’t be happier with them. When I started I did their young saver program which meant a low limit Visa credit card and better interest on my savings than the general accounts. When I aged out, they transferred my accounts over, no problem (and raised my credit limit on the card).
Luckily (knock on wood), I have never had any issues with fraud but my parents also bank here and when my dad’s card info was used in south Florida (not by him), they caught it very quickly and took care of everything. The staff here is super friendly and it’s generally not super busy inside.
Not too long back, they started offering mobile deposits, which I really appreciated because my last job still used paper checks. They have a pretty large network of ATMs and credit unions around the country (basically any ATM at a Publix so if you’re in the southeast, you’re set). I was able to use this account during my semester in DC by using a local (to DC) credit union around the block from my job.
As someone with issues (many, many issues) with big banks, Community First is an awesome local credit union that I would (and do!) recommend to everyone.
