Dollar Tree

I tend to refer to Dollar Tree as «the one where everything is actually a dollar.» This location is pretty clean and relatively neat and tidy. It’s a great place to pick up things like greeting cards, gift bags, paper products, etc. They also have some pretty nice glassware for $ 1 a piece. I mean, ultimately, this is a dollar store and you get what you pay for so it’s great for those things that you don’t mind cutting corners on. The staff here is pretty friendly and pretty quick at the checkout line.

Nothing is over a Dollar. The quality is fair, but then again. it’s only a dollar! You might find a few name brand items here and there. I like to buy gift bags, balloons, and wrapping paper from there. The service is close to non-​existent, but that’s really not surprising.

So I walk into the store, and I say, «Cool» I need one of these!” I asked the lady at the counter, and she says «It’s a dollar.» I come back to the counter, and return with another item, «How much is this contraption?» «It’s a dollar, sir.» Feelin’ the love, I go about my shopping and I proceed back to the same lady, and I ask, «Don’t tell me that this is a dollar, too.» «Yes, sir», replied the lady with a sigh.
I step back out of the store, and go «Oh, my goodness! Everything is a dollar!»
Whenever, I need to spend my «One Dollar Bills» I proceed to this store, nowadays. Heck! Everything’s a dollar + that darn thing that they call sales tax. Ughh!
The store is well lit and organized. This past week, they were set up for Halloween. The aisle to the far right (as you enter) is high yield. Why? The gift bags for my daughter’s friends’ gifts are only $ 1. You go to target and pay as much for the bag, as you do some gifts.
They also have cool pet supplies, which is where I check before I walk into PetCo, next door. A doggy raincoat for a dollar? I spent nearly $ 35 for my doggy’s raincoat, next door.
They have a little mix of everything, like school supplies, art supplies, kitchen goods, personal items like shampoo/​soap, candy, drinks, and other junk. But, hey! It’s only a dollar? What do you have to lose?
My kind of store. One price for everything. No haggling necessary.
