Who knew that one could enjoy a high tea in Flemington, NJ! Our reservation was for 4:00PM and we spent the next two hours slowly drinking our pots of tea, nibbling on a scrumptious assortment of tea sandwiches, licking crème fresh from the scones, fighting over which mini sweet pastry was the best and finally groaning as we finished our blood orange sorbet. The Victorian dining room with mismatched china and silver was warm and welcoming. The long white aprons over black dresses on the wait staff made me think I landed on the Downton Abby set. Everyone was charming and made a point of explaining what each item on our plates included. The tea menu covered two pages and ranges from exotic black tea blends to herbals. We went specifically for tea — something we enjoy doing whenever we travel. Having had complete teas in London, Denver, Chicago, Dublin, New York and Toronto I can unequivocally say that Teaberry’s scones were the best I have ever had anywhere. We talked about them on the ride home and knew we would go back for more!

Excellent food. The daughter was our waitress and she was so welcoming. The ambiance was of a Vermont Inn. In had the duck which was really good my wife had the salmon which she loved. The presentation of the food was also great. Highly recommend. Fyi, not open for dinner.

Out of all the tea rooms I’ve previously been to, Teaberry’s had to be my favorite. There’s something about dining in a restaurant that is located inside a Victorian home with multiple rooms and fireplaces that is certainly inviting. We were seated in the Salon room. It was still decorated for Christmas, which the decorations were lovely. They have a signature upside down tree in the entrance way which was so neat. Never seen anything like it! Now for the tea. It is pretty overwhelming to look over a menu of hundreds of teas, endless flavors, varieties, green teas, black teas, you name it! Our waitress was knowledgable about the menu and offered us to try some limited holiday flavors which were extended past the holiday. I tried the maple walnut green tea. It was delicious! Mixed in some home grown fresh honey and I was set! Every pot of tea you order comes to your table and is clothed in a different pattern of fabric called a «cozy» to keep the tea warm. They were super cute. Not one tea cup or cozy in the restaurant are alike! My friend and I both ordered a quiche Lorraine, salad, and slice of banana bread. The quiche was creamy, cheesy, and very yummy. I ordered the«Windsor salad» which had feta cheese, walnuts, dried cranberries, sliced beets, and a raspberry vinaigrette dressing. Incredible! We were too full to try dessert. Maybe next time. I would definitely recommend for an outing with the girls, a wedding shower, or gift for Mothers day. Looking forward to trying more teas and sweets from Teaberry’s soon!

This place is just adorable. It’s set up as if you were going to someone’s house for tea/brunch with tables inside a «home.» I wasn’t sure what to expect when we first went. I was just excited to find a tea place in the area! I ordered a seasonal salad and it was delicious. The berries and vegetables looked like they were freshly picked from the garden that morning. We were all commenting about how fresh our food was. The teas were also great. There was a large selection to choose from. My daughter was absolutely smitten with the place as well. We will definitely be back again. It is a bit more expensive than your everyday brunch so for me, it’s a special occasion visit. great place, and definitely worth traveling to and trying.

If you love tea, this is the place. The tea selection is astounding. Everytime I go I try a different tea and I’ve liked them all. The food is equally delicious — everything is fresh and made to order. They are always buys so reservations are a must, especially on a Sunday.

I thought this place was an amazing change of pace from lunch at panera. It has a really great atmosphere, unique experience and yummy food. The prices are a little high, so that is my only complaint, but it was nice as a birthday lunch with my mom. I would love to throw a bridal or baby shower here some time. The lobster bisque was amazing! I can’t wait to go back! Just can’t do it too often at those prices!

I’ve come here many times. It’s an absolutely perfect spot for an authentic afternoon tea service. The scones are fresh and warm, straight from the oven. They are served with clotted cream, lemon curd, and preserves. The clotted cream is amazing, I would come here just for this. This place is extra amazing if you’re an Anglophile.

They raised the prices to ridiculousness. 18 $ for a vegetarian sandwich ?! Get out of here

I do not think I have ever had a bad meal here! Very cute tea room with a great tea selections and great food. The reason I only gave it 4 stars instead of 5 was because I think it is a little over priced. However I will continue to go back.

My friends and I really love this place! We’ve been here twice now and both times had a great lunch. There are a huge selection of teas! I would recommend some of their sweeter teas– we had a cookie tea and it was delicious! The food is also great! The first time I came here I had one of their vegetarian sandwiches with avocado, tomato, cheese, sprouts, and a delicious dill spread. I’ve also tried their quiches which have been really yummy too! They come with a small side salad and two pieces of banana bread which I save for later. I’ve definitely had better banana bread, but it’s still a nice addition to the meal. The prices are fairly reasonable for the food with the prices of the teas a little on the high side. However, if you get a pot of tea to share with friends it’s definitely cost effective. One pot of tea is easily enough for three people. The restaurant itself is probably the best part of this place! All the rooms have a British charm to them and are very well decorated. All the staff is so friendly and always willing to make suggestions on what to order.

We hadn’t been here for years when they were at their former location down the street. We called for reservations and they had availability same day. We ordered tea with finger sandwiches and scones. DW ordered vanilla cookie tea which was an old favorite and I ordered royal marzipan. The vanilla cookie was as good as we remember and the royal marzipan tasted just like the real thing and didn’t need any fixings to make it better. The scones were hot and fresh and all of the available toppings were tasty. There were a variety of finger sandwiches and although not all of them featured ingredients I normally enjoyed, I was able to appreciate the quality ingredients and preparation. The young waitress gave good, well-paced service. Don’t forget to visit the store in the back.

This was my first official tea room experience, despite vacationing in Great Britain! And an amazing experience it was! My mom and I split the Castle Collection and Miss Teaberry’s Sweets. Every single bite we took was more amazing than the last. We do think when we go back we will get a full lunch, though, because it certainly wasn’t filling for the cost. It was, however, a great way to sample numerous items for our first time. We both got lots of floral, berry teas. Both were excellent, especially considering neither of us are tea drinkers. The waitress was exceptionally sweet and explained everything to us. My only complaint with the entire day was my reservations were for 1 and I was given a hard time by the hostess who said she talked to me days before and said they were for 2. I don’t think she needed to argue, we were seated right away and there were numerous tables available. Luckily, the negativity we felt from that initial greetings dissipated as soon as we were seated. This place is absolutely perfect for a girls day! I plan on coming back soon for the BYOB Supper Club!

Great tea house! Super cute and surprising roomy. Visited Mother’s Day and although crowded, waitresses did a great job. Over 100 teas and menu is large. Will be back ! Please place the crab quiche on the regular menu– it’s great !

The loveliest place for lunch and/or afternoon tea. The service is impeccable. Wait staff are the right amount of attention and leaving you to enjoy the wonderful atmosphere and the food. I enjoyed a lentil and spinach soup followed by a amazingly fresh and refreshing kale salad with chicken and poppyseed dressing. Just loved it. My friend had the ginger and carrot soup and we shared a large salad so we had room for scones. We ordered one coconut and one lavender and lemon scone. The preferred the coconut since the lavender was a bit too much fragrance for me. The best part was the tea I ordered called silver jubilee. It was a delicately flavoured chamomile with a hint of vanilla and cardamom. It was brewed to perfection. It was so good that both my friend and I bought some tea to take home with us. This place is just lovely — we love the yellow room. The whole house is beautifully decorated. We go out of our way to visit Teaberry’s and it is always such a treat!

$ 18 for a turkey sandwich? Hello, you are not Manhattan. To add insult to injury, the sandwich wasn’t even good. I suppose you are paying for the privilege to sit in a refurbished Victorian home. Upon walking in, I said hello to the hostess. She looked at me and said nothing.? Even my $ 5 pot of tea wasn’t worth it, tasted like the pot hadn’t been washed out from the previous pour. Maybe they were having a bad day when I went, but I would not recommend this place.

Food is wonderful! Atmosphere is great! Being that my grandparents owned an old colonial in flemington, this place is really reminiscent of that. I’ve been here numerous times and have never been let down! The staff is extremely knowledgable about their teas. I had my bridal shower here and they were very accommodating. Halloween tea is a real treat, too! The egg and tuna salads are wonderful on a croissant. My fav tea is the strawberry Darjeeling! You won’t be let down! Worth every penny!

Teaberry’s is refined and quaint. The perfect place to take a lady out for a special occasion. Their list of teas is extensive and overwhelming(in a good way). I was thoroughly satisfied with my selection and have been craving it ever since. My choice had an orange and cinnamon taste, mmm. The food is good, but the main attraction is the tea and delightful ambiance. Just a word of warning –nothing you buy in the supermarket will ever compare to what you will experience at Teaberry’s. I’m still searching. I simply adored the Victorian décor and posh British feel. I really do have to get a tea cosy for home. Oh and you can! Be sure to check out the gift shop in the back and take home a memento. You won’t be disappointed. So go on and enjoy a nice hot«cuppa». Cheerio!

Teaberry’s is adoooorable! So cute! Like you just want to box a table up and take it home with you so you can have tea parties every day. Or maybe that was just me. I had the Pomegranate Medley rooibos tea(«notes of lime, cranberries and raspberries») because I don’t usually drink tea and wanted something on the sweeter side. Oddly, by the time I was pouring my second little cup, I had already heard two other ladies — at separate tables — debate on whether or not to order the exact same tea. And this place has over a hundred options! Hint: It’s a great choice. In addition to the cuteness of the teacups, the flower arrangements, and the wall décor, they also have fantastic, filling food. I had the Royal Albert with chicken salad on a croissant. The dish comes with a scoop of delicious potato salad. This was the perfect meal accompaniment to a Sunday tea with a good friend. On my way out, I ordered a side of banana bread to go and it was *also* top-notch. We left Teaberry’s happy and content — and stopped at their boutique before heading home. A must-stop as well, even if it’s just to browse! So cute. So. cute.

Went there with the wife for some afternoon tea. We arrived there only 10 mins before they were going to close, and they kept the place open for us. We were taken to the room to the front left of the building. there were a handful of tables there, of all shapes and sizes. The room was decorated with antiques throughout and an eclectic collection of tea cups, pots, etc. the table also had fresh flowers, and helped set the tone for the tea. We took a look at the menu, and ordered 2 pots of tea(Assam and Darjeeling blend for me, and Earl Grey for the wife) with sandwiches, and the wife also ordered a scone and some clotted cream. They were great about also customizing the sandwiches for each of us… giving my wife more of the cucumber and the egg salad ones, and giving me more of the tuna and chicken salad ones. Tea came out first. and the tea was brewed fully, and tea leaves were taken out. The pot was also covered, to keep it warm. We both enjoyed our teas very much… and each pot provided 4 – 5 cups at least. When the food came out, we were very pleased… sandwiches were made fresh(not pre-assembeled and served like some other tea rooms we have been to), and all of them were great. The selection changes periodically, and this helps keep the menu fresh. The menu also offered a whole selection of other items, such as soups, salads, sandwiches(hot and cold), etc. We didn’t have anything else, but can’t wait to go back to try more of the selection. After the tea, we walked around the restaurant(both floors)… the place is clean, and has a great feel to it. It was nice seeing all of the different tea pots, etc. along with the items that were typically english. The restaurant also sells a lot of items, including décor, tea, etc. On a final note, our waitress was also great… and having kept the place open for us after official hours, and also was very personable. A must if you miss England, and love tea.
