A great find! A little off the interstate but well worth the extra 5 minute drive to find. The pulled pork and brisket was excellent and as a bonus, the kids were free on Sunday! They loved the free ice cream too at the end of the meal. Will definitely come again if ever in the area.

BBQ sandwich plate for take out lunch today. BBQ on sandwich was dry, salty with burned tips on the pulled pork that were so dry you had to spit out. This BBQ was frozen, thawed and put on a rack in an oven to be re-heated. This is not BBQ and no one in their right mind should eat the crap they call BBQ at this place.

peter bretz asheville thought i would try this place for some barbecue. decided to order the beef brisket. added side salad and mac/cheese. when i tried to eat the beef it was so tough that i had drown in barbecue sauce to eat it. i thought about taking it back but decide to let it go. next came the mac & cheese. unfortunely it was from a box and was gross. well i finished my meal and decided to have some ice cream. as i headed towards the ice cream i witness the waitress dump ice cream cones in the trash. to my surprise their was no more i guess i suppose to eat it in my hands. i will not return or recomend your place to anyone! the management can reach me at 8287799869 if they care.

First off, customer service is spot on, manager is on top of it, and the employees are friendly without being a list of cold emotionless company catchphrases. Personally it’s located perfect for me as I live in fletcher and our options are limited if we don’t want to drive to Asheville. I had been missing out on this place for some time. Items I’ve had: Pulled pork(very good but sometimes a bit on the fatty side), Brisket(amazing!) Sides: Side salad is completely refreshing from normal fast food sides, and to top it off they mix it up for you, and it’s not to heavy on dressing, just right and ready to go when you sit down. Fries are good but a small order is like a one person order, the order sizes are bit confusing your first time, just remember if you are new to the company, the bigger sizes are for catering. Sauces: The offer a couple choices of western style BBQ sauce and one type of eastern. I like them all but I especially enjoy the Spicy Western one. Topping station: Additional Pickles and Onions are provided at the napkin/silverware area. Specials are always a good deal, and to end on a good note and change the taste in your mouth and save you from all the heaviness they have free ice cream. –Look up– Wow I had a lot to say about this place. Anyway! All in all a great place!

My first visit to this restaurant yesterday. It was absolutely fabulous! Would highly recommend! Staff was courteous and displayed that southern hospitality. Will definitely do it again!

There is no shortage of BBQ restaurants around Asheville. I rate a barbecue joint on its brisket, and I was very pleased with the tender(falling apart!) beef brisket at Dickey’s in Fletcher. Had the ribs and turkey and they were also very good. The family meals are a good deal and you can usually get two meals out of them. My recommended side dish is the baked potato casserole, just trust me on this one! ;)

Love the smoke when we walk in the Door. Everything is smoked on site in their Big smoker. They will actually take you behind the line and show you if you ask. The ribs were great. Falling off the bone tender like they advertise. Not tough at all. My wife had the brisket and wow was it tender. Love the Mac n chz, creamy! The baked Potato casserole was exceptional. The cheddar cheese and fresh green onions set it off. Oh yeah. FREEICECREAM! Yum!!!

This was very good BBQ. The ribs and pulled pork were great but the sauce made it amazing! Best BBQ sauce I’ve ever had.

Pleasant atmosphere, I usually don’t care for restaurants with a serving counter, but once through that, it’s cozy. So many restaurants are this style, Moe’s Mexican, Zaxby’s, etc., but when I get my food I continue to feel as through I’m in a fast food restaurant with high prices. This place doesn’t feel like that. I was told the really high wall were the meat is cut and chopped was required by the health department. So I guess that’s okay too. I had the Westerner with both meats pulled pork,(you can choose two different meats) cole slaw on the sandwich with original and a little sweet sauce, and a side of baked potato casserole. It’s a biiggg sandwich, but couldn’t stop ’til it was done, and the casserole was like perfectly seasoned loaded mashed potatoes.

If you want over priced soggy salty ribs with yucky sides come here. Manager or whoever trying to get people to buy cookies to go with free ice cream is obnoxious. Plus we were sitting there eating ribs and he rattled on about tomorrows rib special like we need to come back and eat more. A walking commercial while we are eating. Garbage needed emptying desperately and no one paid attention to it. Go to 12 Bones for real bbq. It doesn’t matter this place just opened. It’s a formula franchise and if this is their formula we won’t be back. Yes, it WAS busy. Really busy but watched the license plates and they were out of state including Canada. hope they don’t think this is NCBBQ!
