ABC Appliance Warehouse

Purchased a Maytag dishwasher six months ago; also purchased the insurance so we would not have to worry about needing repairs. The thing stopped working last week so we called the service and repair number and set up an appointment for Tuesday. The guy came out, checked out the machine and said he would have to replace the circuit boards, the parts would need to be ordered. The parts came in and we set up another appointment for the next Tuesday; between 2 and 6 pm. We were out mowing the grass when the repair guy called, he left a message on the phone that said since we were not home, reschedule another appointment. We were home! No one said to sit by the phone all afternoon! So we set up another appointment for Thursday between 2 and 6 pm. No one ever came! All afternoon by the phone for nothing! This repair service is located in Saginaw (58 miles away) and they don’t care about the customer. When we called to see if the repair guy was still coming on Thursday, they said they had no way of knowing. They won’t let you have the repair guys phone number. Your only option is to wait. Next time I buy an appliance it will be from a local business that services what they sell.

I’ve had ABC Warehouse install stereo systems in my past two vehicles and they’ve messed up both vehicles in the process. My first vehicle, they blew my radio. They did offer me their cheapest radio for free; however, I lost all of my steering wheel controls. I decided to give them another chance a few years later with a new car. Once again I was very unhappy with the end results. Not only did they tear a big hole in the weather strip in my trunk, but they broke a clip that held the underside of my dash up, and they drilled an unnecessary hole in the sidewall of my interior. I pointed out the damages that they did and they said they’d fix the weather strip… They didn’t. I even called to talk to the manager to tell him how displeased I was and all he said was I don’t know what to tell you. Long story short, I wont be returning for ANYTHING! I would not recommend them. I“ll be going through Mickey Shorrs or Radios, Knobs, Speakers, and Things next time.
