I love Luigis been going since I was a toddler. Always delicious and the service is always friendly. Public service announcement: you will NEED napkins!

This old pizza place and bar looks like it has a long history in this location. The old photos of long-dead Hollywood celebrities adds to the«old» feel. But there are other things that add to the«old» feel that aren’t quite as charming. The whole place could use an update. This was particularly noticeable in the bathrooms and the hallway near the bathrooms, where ceiling tiles seemed to be ready to plop down on your head at any moment. This is an active and busy bar combined with a family-friendly Italian restaurant. The thin crust pizza(in particular the vegetarian version) is good. The breadsticks are good, too, though pretty comparable to the kind you get at Olive Garden. Nothing fancy, but buttery and soft. On our last visit I wasn’t in a pizza mood so I branched out and tried the spinach ravioli. What a mistake! I ordered a half-order because it was over $ 11 already and I assumed at that price it would be a decent size. It wasn’t. I received 3(THREE) small mediocre ravioli in a dish COVERED with melted cheese. Now, I love cheese, don’t get me wrong. But I had to scoop the glop of cheese out of the way to find the 3 ravioli hiding under there. After I ate them I was left with a giant bowl of melted cheese. The server actually asked if I wanted to take it home? Our young server wasn’t overly friendly but did fine. Overall recommendation is that you order the pizza or at least don’t order the ravioli. And that you lower your expectations because this is not a fancy, upscale eatery. Nothing wrong with a good«dive» as long as you know what you’re getting yourself into.(Note: Only a few parking spots by the building, otherwise additional parking is in the lot across the side street)

We got horrible service and were treated like we were bothering everyone. We show up at 5:20 and were told by three different servers they were closing at 6 for their employee Christmas party. With zero patrons ahead odd us, the pizza took 35 minutes to get to the table, our server(who forgot our soup and dressing twice after we asked for it twice) said, «well that’s how long it takes to cook a pizza.» Um no, it doesn’t. We heard the bartender talking about«as soon as this tables leaves we can party.» We asked for everything boxed up because we felt uncountable being there, and were treated with contempt. Server didn’t say a word as she dropped things at the table, no «here ya go! Or, sorry about that!» Long standing customers who will no longer be thanks to your staff caring more about the Christmas party than us. Never again.

They have a confederate flag sign reading Dixie. The sign was very offensive and for that reason I wouldn’t return or recommend the business.

This place has gone down hill a great deal. The Italian dressing was purple and tasted like pure garlic. The antipasto was gross. The pizza was weirdly chewy. The servers were nice enough but we won’t return.

We went here as a family of 12 to eat dinner. The service was absolutely dreadful! It took 45 minutes to get our salads. Followed by almost an hour to get our pizzas. The pizza was extremely greasy! All of our orders were incorrect. When we notified the waitress she said that we were the ones who must have said it wrong.

Hands down the best pizza I’ve ever eaten. I lived in the Flint area until I was about 24. We would stop on our way up north and get a couple larges and put them in the cooler for canoeing the following day. I now reside in Los Angeles and only get Luigi’s when I visit family on Holiday’s. I always pack a couple of Large Pizzas in my carry on… one pizza usually doesn’t make it back to Cali. My preference is pepperoni and the Italian dressing on the Antipasto salad is absolutely amazing. Wish I could get the recipe… anyone?

So happy I stopped! Thank you Unilocalers for helping me find my way. Pretty sure my bartender held a more authoritative role than pulling taps. He made excellent recommendations for the thin crust and filled me in on how they were prepped. Definitely showed pride in product and service. He continued to check in on me. I was so excited to find green olives available as a topping! After mentioning that, green olives were also added to the salad I ordered. Excellent attention to customer detail. He also impressed a couple that came in later by remembering their drink preferences after only one prior visit. It is family friendly, yet a great after work stop at the bar. This place could be toooo comfy if I lived closer! Thanks, Luigi’s for making an out of towner feel local!

If your in flint and want good pizza then no question you need to go to luigis no questions asked. The thin crust of the pizza is spectacular. The breadsticks are always perfect. The service is about what you might expect for a place like this not great but not bad either. We come here about once a month and love it. The prices are great and the portions are awesome, can you say leftovers?

I read the reviews, but thought I went to the wrong place based upon the food quality. Wife had pasta with meat sauce, meatballs, and mushrooms. Nothing prepared fresh here on this dish– pasta was overcooked, jar sauce was horrible, mushrooms were from a can(tasteless), the worst part were the freezer burned meatballs that were so hard that you couldn’t stick a fork into them — we showed the waitress and she thought they were still frozen(they were not frozen but just freezer burned hard as a rock — yes a super big EWW!) I had pizza that was thin crust and edible but near the bottom of my rating as far as thin crust goes. They did not use enough semolina to give some good crust taste, sauce was jar and overseasoned, cheese was thin, but good amount of pepperoni. I ate it, but couldn’t recommend this place over most chain pizza places as it was mediocre. We brought the leftover pizza home, but through it away after taking a final bite before bagging it. My kids didn’t eat anything but bread. Service was good, so there are the two stars. I won’t be going back.
