My wife and I went here for lunch. Had a big bowl of phở, the steamed duck buns and a bahn mi sandwich. Everything was absolutely delicious! Even the iced tea was fantastic. So happy there is some great Vietnamese food in Flint!

Amazing Phở– good prices. A little too hip and the employees are noticeably insular, but that is to be expected w/a population of young people choosing to invest time in Flint.

Since there are no other phở places in town, MaMang definitely is breaking new ground at the«market» with its take on classic Vietnamese food. While the menu is limited, I thought the phở was up to the standard I’d expect from shops in San Francisco or LA. It would be nice if eventually they added tripe to the menu, but I know we are dealing with a crowd that might be slow to pick up on such things in Flint. Overall, if you are in Flint, and want phở, you won’t be disappointed by the MaMang experience, I wasn’t.

MaMang is now open in the Flint Farmer’s Market. It’s from the same people as the Wraps and Rolls food truck. The phở is phenomenal! If MaMang were in a bigger city like New York or Chicago, I might only give it 4 stars, but compared to the Flint food scene it’s definitely a 5. No other place around serves phở this good(actually, I don’t think any other place serves phở at all). I haven’t had MaMang’s Banh Mi, but when I had one from the truck it was great.

MaMang is the definition of what a food vendor needs to be in our area. Hard working individuals that make food with passion, because it is what they love to do. Their passion, love, and determination show through in the food they create. I love the Phở, it is one of the best lunches in the area. Keep up the great work.
