The manager on duty Jenna Krease gave the worst customer service on a simple order pick up that my wife made and had already paid for. Now have to head to a competitor to pick up cat litter that my wife already paid for at Sams club but due to need have to go pick some up on the way home after being denied pick up for the cat litter that was already paid for.

It’s not Costco, but it will do. This one is close and has a gas station, which is convenient and the gas prices are the best in town. Parking is an issue, as are the incredibly long lines, but I often just bypass those and head straight to the self-scan checkout, although I usually wind up behind some half-wit who has no clue about how they’re used. Trying to play dodge em in the parking lot is now a thing. It’s a game to try to avoid the horde of runaway carts flying through the parking lot and straight toward your unsuspecting vehicle. My car has gotten a few dings from the parking lot, I’m 100% sure of it. People don’t know how to park and half-ass it by stopping dead at the entrance and parking their lazy butts there while someone else in their party goes in to grab beer and chips. This ain’t Wal Mart– that’s next door! Get it right. Pizza by the slice at the deli and the ice cream sundaes are a bargain, so sometimes I’ll stop and get something while stocking up on household items. Best deal around: Sam’s Club toilet paper for $ 17 and it lasts our family eight weeks. Sam’s even has clothing. Heck, I’ve bought shirts, socks, and a jacket here. I don’t think this store is quite as nice as a Costco or as well run as other Sam’s Club stores I’ve been to, but the prices are very good. I like the bakery, the selection of gourmet cheeses and dips, their take & bake pizzas, and the expanded alcohol selection. Everything else is pretty standard. For a family, it pays off if you shop regularly.

What can you really say bad about Sam’s club? You go in, walk around and pick up things that you didn’t come in to buy… lol. They have decent prices for the bulk of what you get and I like how you can sample some of the items that carry. Also, they the best cakes for birthdays, showers, anniversarys, at a good price.

You know how in the film«Back to the Future,» Marty McFly travels back and forth through time? Hypothetically, if you happened to have Doc Brown’s flux-capacitor-equipped DeLorean, and accelerated to 88MPH toward this Sam’s Club entrance, then you might be able to reemerge about 30 years earlier on the cornfield that was the site of John H.‘s high school commencement afterparty. Today, it’s a fine warehouse club, perhaps the best one in the Flint area. But when I stare at the heat haze under the rotisserie chicken, time bends, and I see ghosts of teenagers around a graduation bonfire.
