I have been a customer of Scentually Yours for over 20 years. My favorite is Renaissance Rogue. I pick up a dram at least monthly. I have always had great customer service whenever I am there. I purchased a few gifts for my step daughter last Christmas, she loved everything I got from Scentually Yours. I will admit that Paige and her staff have been a great help when I have been stuck for a gift for someone. To everyone at Scentually Yours, you have my thanks and gratitude for your help over the years.

I grew up in Michigan and moved to NYC in the late 1990’s. I’ve been buying«Moon» oil from this little Genesee Valley kiosk stand since I was a teenager. Although I moved around the country over the years I always managed to keep a bottle of this delicious oil with me. Most of the time I have had friends and family pick up a bottle and send it to me. Well today I happened to be in Michigan for ONEDAY and stopping by this stand was on my must-do list for the day. My plan was to pick out a handful of new oils(in addition to getting the usual) while I was there in person and had the opportunity to smell them rather than randomly choosing them by name off the website. I went to the mall, approached the stand and saw that there is now a «Moon Goddess» oil sitting next to my fav. I picked it up, smelled it and couldn’t decipher much of a difference. So as I weighed the options before me I asked the woman(who is the owner and who has been running the place for eons), what the difference between the two were. She snapped back with«the oil recipes are a trade secret so I don’t supply that information». WTF? I have zero interest in going into the small town kiosk oil stand business. I was expecting something like«this one has a sweeter scent» or «that one has more of a woody aroma» but no, I was rudely yelled at for asking a completely reasonable question. She proceeded to be rude when I asked for a larger bottle than the one she was getting ready to pour it into. Wait, isn’t this your business that you run and make a living at? Why on earth would you treat your customers this way? Thanks a lot you bi-ach. You have completely ruined my long running love for your little oil. I put it on as I left and decided that I’m tossing the bottle. You took something that was nostalgic in my mind and turned it to something I don’t like or want anymore. I guess you have saved my friends the trouble of getting this for me in the future because I will no longer be a customer. I’m being generous with 2 stars because the oil is pretty decent. The cons are it could last longer, customer service and location.
