I’ve stopped here for a bagel and coffee a few times around 4:00 am, and each time there’s been a young woman working there. She deserves a medal for being so cheerful at 4am. Thanks for reminding me that not everyone is always cranky early in the morning!

I am rather disappointed. I’ve wanted to go to a Tim Horton’s for a long time and now that I have, I guess I just don’t need to go again. I felt that the service was a little weird — making the stuff before we paid as we put our orders in — and one of the women working the register was explaining that to the people next to us, which just felt odd. The double chocolate donut I had with my coffee was fine, if the frosting was a bit waxy, but I was really not a fan of the coffee. I had an iced coffee and it tasted like their beans were way more burned than any Starbucks I have ever had(and even their light roast has a slightly burnt taste to it). Even with 4 splenda in there, it was still extremely bitter and somewhat off-tasting. Of course, I didn’t start drinking it until we were too far for me to consider going back so I finished it — not a mistake I will make again, to be sure. I also did not like that I couldn’t put my own milk or sugar in my drink. Definitely disappointing and I’ll stick to my good old slightly burned Starbucks in the future.
