Good god I LOVE the Chicken Caesar Salad! It never ceases to amaze me how delicious this is. I barely have to use any dressing because the chicken is so flavorful and juicy. I seriously crave this salad at least once a week and I’m not even a chicken fan. Thank you YaYa’s, #1 fan over here!

Tasty chicken but for the price I am not sure. It is very healthy option and for the dieters or healthy eaters it will satisfy other members in the family as they do have sides to satisfy most people in general. The pita is good. I had mac and cheese and thai peanut wrap. Not bad. I did ask for sauce on side so I could control the dressing amount. The only thing I had issue was the price point. Was it organic free range chicken? Just curious. Will I be back if I was in the area? Maybe.

Nice and friendly service. It’s a decent priced place for a quick bite to eat. They have a combination of dinners, wraps, bowls, and sandwiches. This was my first time coming here and I knew I had to get something with their famous flame broiled chicken. I got a Greek Bowl and it came with chicken, rice, and tzatziki sauce. The chicken was tender, all white meat. All in all, simple, yet delicious. They have a five dollar menu special throughout the week. Each day of the week has a special. Not bad! I will definitely go back to try something else.

Yaya’s does have amazing chicken. That’s the one thing they have going for them. Oh– and their pita. However, they are insanely over-priced and I have now had 3 Cesar salads with issues(probably out of 8 total). Most recently I found a bone. In the past I have found a dead lady bug and a twig(both of these were at least 10 years ago). Random. Their salads are about $ 10 and totally not worth that much. All they need to do is throw in another handful of lettuce and a few more croutons and it would be a filling dinner. The chicken portion is fine. But if I’m paying $ 10 for a salad, I want to be full afterwards. Their sides that come with the dinners are pathetically dinky. Really. I think they come in a 2−3oz cup. None of them taste good. The mashed potatoes are weird, potato salad is just store bought, Mac and cheese is completely bland, baked beans straight out of a can, bland brown rice. Everything’s just bland. The chicken dinner doesn’t even come close to filling my husband up and we’d save money eating at a sit-down restaurant. After our last take-out order and how hungry we were afterwards, we won’t be eating here again.

The rumors circulating re: the YaYa’s franchise have not been good as of late. I’ve heard that the owner recently sold everything off, and they new guys in charge have made some changes. I can’t say that I’ve noticed the quality of chicken deteriorate(my chicken wrap was tasty as ever), although supposedly the restaurants have changed buyers. I HAVE, however, noticed the absence of fresh honey butter! What gives, YaYa’s?! In years past, this was a highlight of my meal. The pita bread is still hot and fluffy, but prepackaged Land o’Lake spread doesn’t do it justice. Still a tasty alternative to fast food and an awesome dinner on-the-go, but the missing honey butter takes full-five-star-age out of the running. Bring that shit back pleeeeeeeeeeeeease!

Well, I have been to this location a few times in the last few weeks and I always get the large chicken salad with lite YaYa’s dressing. Today I went there and was told they no longer have YaYa’s dressing and was offered their Free Ranch dressing — which I could not put on my salad because of the amount of carbs(they no longer offer their low carb dressing). Along with my order today, I ordered a large diet beverage, but they were out of large cups — so medium it was. I brought the salad back to work to eat and there were a few pieces of brown lettuce in the salad. I have never had this issue in the past at YaYa’s. In the past I have been overcharged — they would charge me .39 for an extra dressing even though I didn’t request one and didn’t receive one. I still don’t know why they did this. Unfortunately, I think this will be my last visit to YaYa’s as the quality and service have been lacking my last few visits. NOTE: YaYa’s was very quick on getting back in touch with me via e-mail to let me know they haven’t had lite YaYa’s dressing in over a year(I have ordered it a few times over the past few weeks and was never told otherwise). They do still have YaYa’s original dressing which would have been my next choice… but it’s good to know they still have that.

I L O V E this show so much! I grew up in Flint, MI, and whenever I go back to visit, I make sure I go here. It’s a quite simple menu with flamed broiled chicken being the main draw. Last time I was here, the menu was limited to pieces of chicken, or diced chicken in pita bread for sandwiches. But they have expanded to included BBQ chicken, soups, etc. Over as long as I’ve been there, the service and flavors have stayed the same… FANTASTIC! Cannot wait to go back.

wow, probably some of the best flame broiled chicken i’ve had in a while! the ½ chicken was perfectly moist, and the sides were great too! only thing i found weird was they gave us a piece of pita bread. a little unordinary, but their butter went great with it.
